The support is top-notch, and they've even added some of our suggestions to the programs mere days later! Pros Label LIVE is incredibly simple to integrate with all of our production systems. We're able to print our inventory labels seconds after scanning new products through the powerful HTTP connections. Cons There are a few minor glitches that occasionally interrupt the printing process, like design elements shifting slightly, but they can be fixed in a few seconds. From thermal labels to sheet printed labels. The software is very intuitive, straight forward and simple to use. There are tons of powerful features including some very cool ways to integrate spreadsheets. Everything updates live on the screen as you make changes. With the ability to script variable there really is no limit to getting exactly what you want on a label. It integrated really nicely with my 2 thermal printers, with a very short learning curve to get them printing flawlessly. I would highly recommend this software to others. Pros The developer is active and fixes bugs and addresses feature request really fast. For a one time forever licenses fee you cant compare the quality of software you are getting. Cons There really is no full detailed user manual. There is some guides online that get you pointed in the right direction, but lots of features found in the software you just have to play with to see what they do. Pros Easy to use, any beginners can easily create labels, I use it for my supermarket price tag, super handy. Had problems with my license and \[sensitive content hidden\] always replied and assist me. They even have video to show you how to use it. Thank you for creating such a beautiful app. Cons Subscription can be steep in price but I only pay one time subscription because I think it is going to be useful for many years to come. Pros Label Live is leading the industry in label software. It isn't even close. I've previously worked with Dymo and Zebra products and Label Live is on a whole other level. Their label design process is so simple and clean. The extensive barcode support is phenomenal. The amount of integration options allows for nearly every circumstance. Cons Absolutely nothing. Pros The ease of use is phenomenal. Label Live does not over complicate the label making process. We have around 550 SKUS (Not a lot in the big picture) However, the ability to upload all of our items and then create the way we want the label to look - was very easy - I imagine this could be done with many more SKUS. We also really enjoyed how easy it was to design the label. Cons Nothing so far. We have had no issues with the software. I downloaded the trial version and designed my first label in minutes. Trained the receiving staff and followed up with a purchase of the software. I would highly recommend this software. Pros Ease of use, ability to pull data from Excel, received quick support on a question even though I only had the trial download. Cons Created a label on one computer (still in trial period), saved it on a shared network location but when I open it on the licensed computer the label no longer fit the defined label size. I downloaded the free trial and an hour or two later had ordered the full business version because I knew it worked! Pros Very easy to use even with their short video demonstration and it does exactly what I have been wanting to do with labels. Cons Saves me too much time and who wants extra time on their hands... Geeze, Think about the people that want their lives to be difficult all their life! HaHa, I can't think of a con for this system. 6 out of 5 stars! We have had 2 issues while using this software for the past 2 years, both of them were created by us not the developer. Within minutes of submitting a ticket we had a personal message and a solution to our issues. The first time we called and instantly talked to a person, and had the solution in minutes as well. I can't say enough about this... this never happens!! It's great to deal with actual customer support, and have problems fixed on the fly. I highly recommend this software, this team is the best. Everybody is happy. Pros After getting a ONE day notice that SMEAD was discontinuing their ridiculously expensive labelling system we were left scrambling for a replacement. I thought they would just remove their restrictive environment and place their non-supported software in the public domain and allow us to continue to use it but that was not the case. I needed to find a replacement QUICK. Luckily I found Label Live. I love the trial allowed for full use without worrying about watermarks etc. Once I designed the replacement labels we needed, we could start to use software immediately. The support staff was quickly trained and we purchased the full version. So far so good! Cons We are a school system and wished we could have used a purchase order. Just makes things cleaner for the auditors. Disclaimer: they do allow purchase orders for 5 or more licenses. Review Source JM Jarreth M. The ability to print off so many variables and use data so effectively is a massive boon. Customer support has been amazing in helping me figure things out, including getting a feature implemented that i suggested, and sending me a beta copy to test with. Business Development Machinery Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Labeling Made Easy" March 4, 2021 5.0 We use labels with our WASP printer and a typical laser printer for Avery labels. We had hundreds of label files for each product and all had a slightly different design. Now with Label live, we create one label template for each size and use the data upload to dynamically print any particular product we need. It is such a great process improvement, the actual interface is easy to use and clear, and support has been very prompt and willing to help troubleshoot any issue. We also sometimes had printing issues where the image on the software looked terrible once actually printed (blurry images or text), but with label live it gives an accurate preview of how the label will print and allows you to tweak the design as needed. Pros Label live's sleek user interface and well thought out features makes creating beautiful custom labels very easy and straightforward. By far the best reason for our purchase was the feature that allows you to upload a spreadsheet and customize variables on the label - so instead of hundreds of label files for our products, we only need one label file and one spreadsheet to indicate the product name, number and barcode. Now all our labels look great and we have a new consistency across our labels. Before we were using another one for NFC/RFID card printing jobs, and it was quiet difficult to use. Also our card printer didnt go hand in hand with it which resulted in regular problems with printer, which seemed impossible to resolve, and bad quality of print. Your software resolved most of our printer/card printing problems. I even find myself enjoying the quality when the card comes out of printer. Before I was physically cringing every time when a card printing request came in. So thank you very much for your work and wish you success in future! Pros Love the product, everything about is fantastic. Cons Installing the license needs to be done for EVERY user of that computer. That's a little frustrating as it's on a computer that is used by multiple people. Which means the first time it's used for a new logon the person has to install the license. It would be nice to have a machine wide license instead of installing per person that logs on.
