" January 7, 2025 5.0 We love Bloom as it keeps our teams aligned and allows us to easily run productive meetings. Pros Allows to easily keep track of issues that may not always be top of mind. Meetings are well structured, with the to do and issues features keeping everyone aligned. Easy to use and navigate the platform. Allows you to add your own personal tiles to your page, that aren't connected to your team's meetings. Cons I wish it was slightly more customizable, being able to change frequency of meetings and date ranges. Sometimes there are glitches in the metrics table. Creating agendas, discussing topics, and then tracking quarterly and personal professional goals. Pros I truly appreciated the value add that Bloom Growth had regarding scheduling, agendas, and running meetings. With that as well, I also appreciated the ability to track progress on Goals, and how goals were measured and constantly discussed in meetings through bloom growth. Cons I do feel that Bloom Growth may have been trying to do too much, with many different avenues, so I feel a strong focus/promo on one feature or a few would be more beneficial. HR Coordinator Computer Software Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Not A Performance Tool - Limited Capabilities" August 19, 2024 2.0 Honestly would not use this tool again over an actual performance tracking tool with performance review capabilities as it seems repetitive and just not much value in having both. Pros Bloom is a great tool to track goals (rocks) and manage meetings and keep teams on track to meet individual, team and company rocks and provide meeting structure. Cons Although the tool is very good for providing structure for meetings and goal tracking, it really does not have a good reporting structure but the quarterly 1:1s and performance reviews from their people tools section is just not strong at all. There are many issues with goals populating the reviews. Not much room to customize and be able to turn the quarterly reviews into yearly performance reviews. The bloom team stated that the platform was not made for this but i find this to be a huge gap for them as it makes sense to be able to utilize this tool to assist with performance reviews. Capturing action items and issues is easy. The software makes it simple to conduct L10s. I highly recommend using Traction Tools if your company is running on EOS. Pros This is the tool specifically designed for companies that have implemented Traction. Running L10 meetings is simple and all of the Issues, Weekly Scorecard, Headlines, To Do's, Rocks and Milestones are captured in one place, rather than using several tools or worse, pen and paper. Users can get daily emails with a list of their upcoming to do's. By logging in to the software, users have a dashboard with their weekly metrics, to do's and rocks. The dashboard is customizable as well. Users can access each meeting to add issues to the list, view past meeting details and more. You can even send a message from your smartphone to create an issue for the meeting! This helps teams stay on track for their L10, capture the information in one place and rate the meetings. Quarterly Conversations are simple for each manager to set up and invite their direct reports. The information is captured from respondents and then the results are displayed in an easy to read report format. When each user is setup, their accountability is captured along with their roles. Each quarter, their manager adds their rocks and updates roles (if applicable). Other features include video conference capabilities and creating an Accountability Chart. Cons Sometimes, the website would freeze (most noticeably when creating an action item or Issue) and the meeting facilitator would have to re-open the site in a different tab to get back to the L10. We started using EOS to run our business a little over a year ago. Until bringing on Traction Tools, is was difficult to track and implement the processes on our own. Traction Tools has really now become a platform that consistently keeps everyone in the business on track, focused on where we are going, and driving accountability across every position in the company. Pros I love the ability to assign and manage tasks companywide in one platform. Running and tracking L10 meetings all in one place has eliminated the problem of lost meeting notes, and the consistency of the L10 meeting format has helped to make unproductive and off-task meetings a thing of the past. Cons The rocks and scorecards features can be a little temperamental - archiving in certain places and showing up in others. There are definitely still a few areas that could use some better ease of use, but the customer service is exceptional and can usually help to solve problems that arise quickly. Different departments need to see different "rocks" and this allows you to do so. -You can track your own progress from your dashboard while viewing your team. -My favorite feature is the team meeting option. This allows all members of the team (remote and in office) to meet together virtually. We can also see the presenters screen. All in all, it connects everyone in an office. For startups and emerging companies, this is a great and visual way to keep everyone on the same page regarding company goals. Cons \-It takes a little bit of time to get used to. It is a different vocab set than many people are used to. -Some users may think it isn't necessary to use. A lot of the time, this is because these users are disenfranchised and feel left out already. -Please note that you will need a solid amount if Wifi and Bandwidth to run the program. We use it to run meetings better. Pros If your company follows the Traction model, this is built specifically to stay true to that. Meetings are run smoothly and cleanly. Team member progress is easy to manage and understand. Coaching/evaluations/reviews are easy to set up. Basically, the key word is ease of use.
