En general, es una buena aplicación para la gestión de los centros escolares, tiene muchas herramientas buenas para poder utilizar y el seguimiento del profesorado hacia el alumnado es óptimo.

Pros

Este software permite gestionar las instituciones educativas, generando una mejor comunicación y aprendizaje entre el alumnado y el profesorado. Tiene bastantes herramientas, pero la que más me ha llamado la atención, ha sido que ofrece una serie de cursos, los cuales el alumnado puede ver su avance y evaluaciones y puede pedir tutorías personalizadas con los profesores.

Cons

Creo que su uso puede ser algo complejo las primeras veces que lo utilizas, y también es algo cara para lo que ofrece.

Que articula la mayoria de necesidades de una institucion educativa. Es muy intuitivo y facil de manejar.

Cons

Complica algunos procesos, por ejemplo: calificar, llevar las notas de un periodo, asignar materias a 1 o varios profesores.

A good and complete software, we would recommend it to other customers as well. There are too many menus but no other problem than this aesthetic part.

Pros

It is very complete to any size of educational institutions

Cons

There is a language barrier, we speak spanish and had a hard time understanding some terms. It would be helpful to have a terms and definitions somewhere. There are too many menu icons, even for single functionalities. With this we think that less is better. As a partner, we would like to have access to fork the purchased the software repositories. So when there are updates and upgrades our customers could be able to pull them.

Reasons for choosing OpenEduCat

Developing from scratch requires too much time and specialized resources. Since open educat made the modules, we consider that it is better outsource and pay to the developers for their work and maintenance with a fair price.
