Ultimately there were so many things it can't do and tiny frustrations using it that we decided to move to another vendor. It was death by a thousand cuts. Pros \+ The linkedin chrome extension does work most of the time once you install it manually+ The database search tool to find contacts at a given company name with certain titles etc works fairly well as long as it's not a small business you're targeting Cons There are many oversights all over the product which make it hard to use and more time consuming than even manual prospecting and emailing. For example:- If you add a prospect contact to a list, Snovio will show their company details on the contact but it will not add that company anywhere in your account. You have to manually expand a dropdown, click to view the company, then click add to list and select a list on that company's detail. 4 extra clicks each time. This is ridiculous. It means that if you and another colleague are doing outreach, you can very easily email two people at the same company unless you are manually adding the companies too, so you can search and make sure they haven't been reached out to yet. Even worse, you can't search contacts by their company name. - You can't schedule 1:1 emails to be sent later. You can only schedule campaigns. However, if you are in B2B sales, you know that often times email templates only get you so far and you need to write more personalized messages. Might as well just stick with Gmail and Boomerang or Yesware...- You can't have multi-line custom fields in case you were considering using custom fields + a campaign to send more personalized messages.- For Pipedrive users: the Pipedrive integration adds contacts to Pipedrive even if Snovio never was successful in finding any email address for them. There is no way to stop it from doing this. You have to go set up an automation in Pipedrive or Zapier to delete them. If you are the one looking to find new email leads and verify them before sending then this is a very useful tool. But if you are looking for a multichannel marketing tool then better options are available in the market. Pros Snov is one such tool that can not help you in finding new email leads but can also help you verify these emails. Good part about Snov is that you bulk verify emails to save your time. The platform helps you create pipelines for existing prospects. Cons Sometimes a lot of emails go inside spam folder for the recipient. Not sure this problem is due to Snov or something else. But if anyone has reason like me(have to handle thousands of data each day) they must consider this service as potential. I have tried many others scraper but honestly I liked snovio provided data mostly so far. Pros I have been using this service since 2017 to scrap LinkedIn profiles data. It's really helpful to scrap many information about targeted prospects very quickly. In my case I like this service mostly because it's saving my time. Honestly this service was great in 2018 but I can't believe snovio's provided emails till 2019 because they often provide those previous companies work emails, I believe they didn't update some functionality properly what should be improved. And also does an okay job with sending out emails. Cons Where to start. We had a ton of issues occur at some point in our email campaigns. Accounts would stop sending randomly non stop to the point where it got unbearable and we had to switch to another solution. Snov.io helps me to easily get in touch with ideal customers and close great deals. Pros Snovio helps me find and get in contact with the prospects that fit our ICP. The e-mail opening rates are exceptional, and we are currently starting conversations with around 20 great prospects every week using only Snovio's native tools. Cons I miss finding more companies in the "Company Profile Search" tool. We've used brazilian software that sweeps data on the web to get this information (speedio.com.br) and cancelled our subscription after seeing that snov.io had a similar feature, but we'll have to get back to it in a few months. August 19, 2019 4.0 One of the many issues that we were able to solve with Snovio was being able to reach out to our alumni about fundraising and Snovio helped us get their emails through Linkedin. Although Snovio is not always accurate, it has been accurate many times and I think it has helped our work a lot. Considering the fact that it's free and there's nothing to lose, I'd reccomend giving it a try! Pros I think that Snovio has a lot of potential as it can be extremely valuable at times! What I really like about Sonvio is its compatibility with Linkedin and being able to get people's emails despite not being connected to them. It uses a database to figure out people's email addresses and this can be such a great tool for people who often need to cold call or reach out to other individuals that they may not necessarily be connected to. This was a great tool to use when reaching out to potential donors for fundraising programs for our school! Cons What I liked the least about this software was that it was not always reliable. There are often many instances when I get notifications that my emails did not go through because the email address that I received from Sonvio was not a real email address. I paid the price in understanding those credits would be MINE to use. Not be taken away if all of them weren't used by the end of the 30 days, and I don't remember that information being provided or there being a resource explaining this would occur. Very disappointed, it was too good to be true. I would have continued to be a paying customer but I don't trust Snovio anymore. Pros It does pull up emails easily. So does a lot of other softwares too so nothing significant. Cons They steal your money. I paid for 1,000 credits, no where did it say if you don't use these credits by thirty days they will be gone?? I had 600 credits left, and planned to continue to be a paying customer every time I needed more credits. But nope.
