Instagantt makes it easier for me to track, adjust, and manage my efforts as work demands change. Pros Probably because it is an improved product over what I used to have to formulate for myself in Excel. It helps that it links to Asana for management reports as I find it easier to work almost exclusively inside Instagantt for task/project set-up and monitoring. Cons I have a lot of projects, more than 20. Perhaps it is being upgraded but I have not been able to assemble a master portfolio of all work because of that limit. Review Source MA Marcelo A. Pros Easy to use, very fast, simple and has all the features I need Cons I’ve been searching for a software that would allow me to create a gantt and add resources without having them as users. This one allows me to do this and much more, but I would love to be able to change resources calendar without having to add them as users. I work with resources in different timezones with different holiday calendars. That would save me a lot of creativity when I need to plan vacations and create resources backup plan. All items are organized. Good overall view of all projects. Cons They still have some bugs. \*\* If the progress is not 100% but over the due date, the Gantt bar will be RED >> Good. However if you can show orange/yellow for the Gantt bar which is delay it will be great! (Delay is the task is started but the progress is not going well. When % progress is less than time using on the task the Gantt bar should change color from blue to yellow/orange. After trying so many, I'm sticking to instagantt. Pros Breakdown of tasks makes it easier to use. Cons The visibility of the attached files isn't much appreciable. Sometimes the task detail becomes stubborn to open. It makes me right-click to open the details field. Even with right-click, it denies opening. Rest, all is well and good. Pros It's very easy to use and to onboard other team members. The fact that it can instantly be rolled out across a department and very little skill is required is perfect. I would love to see some further developments tot he software but it does exactly what we need it to do for now. E.g. 50% probably so entire project is weighted at 50% effort in the capacity overview. Being able to have, in addition to planned effort (which is dynamic), and actual (which is static), a fixed field with the initial plan. We all managed to easily get used to it and we were able to adapt our work processes to plan visually with this tool. Thanks to Instagantt, our projects are much more organized and each one in my team knows what to do. Pros Instagantt is easy to use, clean and very powerful tool to plan my marketing projects. The software is totally online and allows to drag and drop each task and subtask to have everything done in minutes. Also, the interface is beautiful and well developed. The Gantt software allows to work with my marketing team, assign a task and leave some comments there. Cons I miss templates to start working with more information in the plan. IT should also have a loader/exporter of MS project files to be really an alternative on the market Reason for choosing Instagantt because MS project is hardcore planning, and I don't want to invest energy in the software comprehention: I'm rather keen on getting the value back of the planning.
