It provides a realistic indication of what a user interface will look like on smartphones, tablets and in browser. It's light weight and quick to view. Cons The price is cost prohibitive for a freelancer, student or a casual user, whilst it's not an issue for enterprise it would be great if the company thought of computing grass roots. Pros Its a very easy to use software for digital prototyping user-interfaces and to dish out ideas fast. With the help of the vast library of tools such as radio buttons and sliders, things are so much easier. With the collaborate function we have the ability to work as a team remotely. My favourite feature is how easy to use it is. All the mock up features are at your fingertips; shapes, colours, fonts, tags... you name it! All of the necessary wireframing necessities are easy to find and the drag and drop feature makes it hassle free to use. Cons If you're going to use this software as an html converter you won't be pleased. Exporting to html does not capture all features and presents several bugs. In my opinion, this tool is best used for mock ups and not necessarily as a html resource. This tool is best used to develop your UI/UX skills, rather than your front end web programming. The best feature about axure is its ability to be shared with a click. so sharing is not that redundant. It allows us to test things before they are incorporated int he final product. Pros Axure is a sweet spot between a prototype and a working product. sharing is easy. Cons The learning curve is very bizzare, you need to have extensive knowledge before using this product. Hope some day i will buy it. Pros Axure has it all when it comes to prototyping and wireframing . All features that are needed for doing the job good and fast are there. From formatting to drag and drop placement to using cool widgets, everything you need basically to get the job done is present in this software. Pros We use this tool in our human computer interaction design class and it helps us easily apply concepts learnt in class through a wide variety of toolkits and functionalities. Easy to use and understand quickly. Cons Some of the complex features that involve conditional expressions and data handling across pages can be simplified to make it easier to understand. It allows you to create different cases of interaction with one button depending on some factors in your project (ex. balance is zero, not enough money etc) Cons Outdated UI and pricing might be not so expensive. It, however, has a steeper learning curve than some of the other products. Cons The tool is not very intuitive for beginners. Need to be a more experienced designer to get the most out of this tool. But since I have experience with many other similar tools, this doesn't stand out to me and I wouldn't use it in my everyday flow. Pros It does fine for what it is; a tool to help you layout and wireframe. Aside from that, I think I missed the niche and what sets it apart Cons I'm not sure what sets Axure apart from all other tools that do mapping, flows, and layouts. As more design software rolls out with the "All-in-one" package provided, tools like these are proving to be irrelevant.
