October 16, 2021 5.0 I had never had an online e-card like Kudoboard that could collect contributions so this was a product we needed at my workplace (and personal life). Wouldn't it be nice if you could incorporate a service like PayPal or Venmo in this so that the person who organized the card could easily collect money towards a gift as well? Pros The card takes such little time to setup! I love the background choices which range from simple to ones with lots of graphics. The card is very customizable with fonts as well though I typically like the default font. It is also really easy to have co-workers contribute to the card - not a lot of fuss with signing-in. I also find it easy to upgrade from the free version (10 contributors) to 100 for a small reasonable fee. Cons When you go to schedule delivery of the card, does it always default to the next day? I think it should default to the same day. I mixed up the dates and accidentally scheduled delivery of a card for "tomorrow 4pm" when I really wanted it to be "today 4pm". Review Source BF Brandon F. Pros The product is extremely easy to use and integrates with current processes while offering modern communication technology and embellishments (GIFs, Personally Recorded Videos, Youtube Links, Jpegs, and Emojis) all to make the process of sending and receiving Fun & Easy. Kudoboards offer a fast amount of features such as automated delivery, Recipient Thank You Message, Reminder Emails to contributors, and Admin notifications which make the whole process even more productive for everyone involved. The system also offeres privacy settings on Kudo boards which allow people to send and recieve with confidence that they can be honest with their expression without the risk of judgement from others who may have a different feeling. Cons I have noticed the platform works best on Google Chrome. Using Edge or IE has given team members problems when trying to enjoy all the embellishment features as mentioned above. Kids understand how to do this and enjoy being able to choose an image or video. It would be nice if the price point was a little lower for the 100 kudos, or if you had the option for like 50 kudos. Pros choice of backgrounds, easy to share the kudoboard to contributors, users are children who easily understand what to do, can schedule its send Cons It would be great if the administrator can set a limit of the number of kudos a given user can add. If you delete a kudo, the 3 columns will then be unbalanced, would be nice to have the design option to automatically reconfig the 3 columns so there is balance. Would like the ability to change the width of either an individual kudo to to set the number of columns. The user interface to edit the default "From" isn't the best. The icon to move a kudo is kind of faint so I didn't notice it at first. Would be nice to have even a few more backgrounds to choose from. Pros Kudoboard makes it so easy (especially during Covid!) to celebrate a birthday, a milestone, a team, an individual all in one place for a very reasonable price. Multiple people can add and including fun pictures and GIFs is so simple, making the end result fun, easily readable and shareable. We have loved Kudoboard. Cons I understand the limit of entries per board and I appreciate that it's free if you have less than a certain number, but if that number could be a little bit higher that would be great! It has become a staple in our office for sending congratulations, reconciliations, birthday, retirements, etc. Everyone loves that they can partake wether working in office or home. Its wonderful way that everyone can personalize by adding their own notes, pictures, gifs, etc. that is customized for the person receiving the kudos. Pros This product is very easy to use and a perfect alternative for sending someone a card. The software allows you to create a kudos/card for any occasion. You can personalize it by choosing the main wording and background. Once created, it can be shared with others and they can add a note to the recipient as well as a add a video, picture or gif! It's a really wonderful way to recognize staff virtually and ensure anyone can participate even if one is working away from the office. Once complete, its emailed to the receipint. The outcome of the kudoboard is so fun and unique! Cons The only con I can think is it would be nice to have more suggested title wording as not everyone is as creative with their words. The pandemic has prevented us from having some celebrations -- a retirement party, for one -- and "passing around a card" hasn't been an option with 70% of our staff working remotely. Kudoboard has filled in, and is so easy to distribute that everyone can participate, no matter where they are. I have used Kudoboard for personal end-of-year messages (in lieu of the Christmas letter), and to include an international group of friends and family to participate in a "group gift" by posting pictures and memories for a friend's 70th birthday. Pros So easy to use: directions are obvious, clear, and lead you exactly where you expect to go. GIFs, video clips, messages, and images are easy to load, and the board is easy to organize and reorganize. The backgrounds are fun, interesting, and beautiful. As an organizer, keeping updated is very straight-forward, and reminding participants of deadlines, etc. is simple. The end result \*always\* brings pleasure. On the few occasions I've paid for the product due to the size of the board, I've been pleased. Cons Truly, there is not one thing about Kudoboard that I have been disappointed in. Pros The software is easy to use. It can be customized to fit a company's needs-- we had our Marketing team create us a background image to use on the boards. Being able to schedule delivery of cards is great and allows us to plan ahead. And, it is fun to create and share the cards, AND easy to get everyone to contribute. Cons Maybe something like a curated list of gifs and images for specific occasions could be useful. Scrolling down the list for anything tagged with "birthday" can take time.
