The reporting and dashboard features are valuable for tracking project performance and communicating status to stakeholders. Acuity is a game changer for our business and I would highly recommend! Pros Customer support is second to none, and it makes a huge difference when integrating a new tool. Acuity is very user friendly, and easy to customize to our business needs. This has significantly helped our team with resource management and the ability to prioritize our projects to meet our overall goals. Cons There are very few cons if any that I can think of. If I had to pick something it would be from time to time, there are minor glitches. Although, these have been very minor and have always been fixed right away by Acuity's team. The PMO team finds it very user friendly and the leadership team find the information very useful. Pros I and my team find Acuity to be very user friendly. We've been able to adopt it fairly easily. We continue to ramp up our usage across the organization. We are looking forward to leveraging more of the metric and reporting features so that we can more effectively communicate project status and portfolio performance to the c-suite. Cons I find the documentation somewhat lacking. There are times where I think I have a pretty simple question and spend a great deal of time searching through the on-line user guide or other documentation and I'm unable to find what I'm looking for. The dashboard is easy to use and provides all information needed for reporting to stakeholders. Pros This software allows us to view all projects underway and, even more importantly, the resources assigned. The dashboards are easy to follow, and detailed project plans and milestones are being tracked in Smartsheet but automatically updated in Acuity PPM via the API integration. Cons There is really nothing that I do not like about this product. Feature are being added on a regular basis. Pros Prior to purchasing Acuity I would often find myself creating spreadsheet after spreadsheet to prioritize our organizations projects with our leadership. I happen to come across Acuity and quickly realized it had everything that I needed to work through these sessions. Acuity PPM has found the right balance! Pros The Acuity PPM software is simple to use and intuitive. Our Project Managers were able to integrate the tool into their day-to-day activities, and the output allowed leadership insight into all project work. Cons The majority of fields you need are customizable, but there are some I'd have liked to adjust. However, the Acuity PPM team is flexible and often takes feedback making updates to meet customer needs. Users find it useful and easy to use, and management are happy with the overview they get. Pros Acuity PPM is a good fit for us as it isn't an overly complex system and doesn't contain features we don't need to use, yet still provides the overview we need and enough detail about individual projects. The status reports are a big positive for us. Cons No cons so far, just looking forward to any new features as they are developed. They provide excellent customer service and they are very receptive to suggested product features/enhancements. Pros Acuity PPM gave us the ability to understand, manage and prioritize our project portfolio. The software has SO MANY features we consider valuable and use on a regular basis. In addition to the risk/value bubble chart, the dashboard provides a high-level view of our portfolio/project health. This dashboard allows us to track projects by strategic objectives and alerts senior leadership when there are issues/risks that might impact project delivery. The software also features a built-in scorecard where we can determine a project's value and risk score based on criteria important to our company. (Something we had to do in Excel before Acuity). The Status Reports are another useful tool that gives us the ability to capture a project summary, accomplishments and next steps. (Prior to Acuity, we were using a Word document for weekly status updates). Other great features include a timeline that allows us to add/track project milestones and the information section where we can capture a project's background, objectives and benefits. In addition, the software is visually appealing, easy to use and gives us the ability to add customized fields without the help of IT. Cons We do not have anything negative to share about the product.
