The dashboard is easy to use and provides all information needed for reporting to stakeholders. Pros This software allows us to view all projects underway and, even more importantly, the resources assigned. The dashboards are easy to follow, and detailed project plans and milestones are being tracked in Smartsheet but automatically updated in Acuity PPM via the API integration. Cons There is really nothing that I do not like about this product. Feature are being added on a regular basis. It no longer have to create multiple spreadsheets to manage my project portfolio and I thank Acuity for that! Pros Prior to purchasing Acuity I would often find myself creating spreadsheet after spreadsheet to prioritize our organizations projects with our leadership. I happen to come across Acuity and quickly realized it had everything that I needed to work through these sessions. Pros The ease of being able to display all of your projects, it makes facilitating meetings more effective and streamlined. Cons I would like the ability to create custom saved dashboards without being an admin, or having my views publicly available. Having the ability to name each dashboard as well. Acuity PPM has found the right balance! Pros The Acuity PPM software is simple to use and intuitive. Our Project Managers were able to integrate the tool into their day-to-day activities, and the output allowed leadership insight into all project work. Cons The majority of fields you need are customizable, but there are some I'd have liked to adjust. However, the Acuity PPM team is flexible and often takes feedback making updates to meet customer needs. They provide excellent customer service and they are very receptive to suggested product features/enhancements. Pros Acuity PPM gave us the ability to understand, manage and prioritize our project portfolio. The software has SO MANY features we consider valuable and use on a regular basis. In addition to the risk/value bubble chart, the dashboard provides a high-level view of our portfolio/project health. This dashboard allows us to track projects by strategic objectives and alerts senior leadership when there are issues/risks that might impact project delivery. The software also features a built-in scorecard where we can determine a project's value and risk score based on criteria important to our company. (Something we had to do in Excel before Acuity). The Status Reports are another useful tool that gives us the ability to capture a project summary, accomplishments and next steps. (Prior to Acuity, we were using a Word document for weekly status updates). Other great features include a timeline that allows us to add/track project milestones and the information section where we can capture a project's background, objectives and benefits. In addition, the software is visually appealing, easy to use and gives us the ability to add customized fields without the help of IT. Cons We do not have anything negative to share about the product. He listened to our needs and provided suggestions on how to use the software to meet those needs. We have worked with him to import our current portfolio of projects and created a work intake process for new proposals. We look forward to adding a prioritization scoring model and resource management.
