I have enjoyed Crew Control from its inception. We actually worked with the creators from the the very beginning to help with insight regarding functionality and purpose. Its cool to see it in its current state. Its also pretty cool that this product was created to solve existing problems.

Pros

Its ease of use. The drag and drop. Maps incorporated in the overall functionality. Easy log in. Dispatch and real time adjustments.

Cons

Editing some of the behind the scene information is clunky. Its hard to find them and once you do its confusing how to make the edits.

Crew control is a pleasure to use and maneuver around. Using crew has helped us schedule jobs quicker and clearer for the team on the field. We use Crew control for scheduling up to 30 jobs a day. The customer support for crew control are super responsive, helpful and always happy to make changes and updates that suit our needs.

Pros

Cons

Search is through the customer section not a search button, but works really well and information is easy to collect.

My overall experience has been very positive. Crew Control gives me the tools I need to manage scheduling, memberships, payment plans, customer organization, and day-to-day operations without spending hundreds of dollars per month on enterprise software. While the mobile app and interface could be improved, the value for the price is hard to beat. It helps me stay organized, save time, and run my business more efficiently. I would recommend it to other service businesses looking for an affordable all-in-one management platform.

Pros

Crew Control has been a great fit for my business. It offers many of the features I was looking for in ServiceTitan, but at a much more affordable price point of around $50 per month. I can manage scheduling, dispatching, customer records, memberships, and payment plans all from one platform. One of my favorite features is the ability to set up monthly and yearly memberships for customers, as well as payment plans for larger projects. This helps customers move forward with work they may not be able to pay for all at once. The custom tags are extremely useful for organizing customers by service type, property type, location, maintenance plans, and more. I also appreciate the ability to pass processing fees along to customers when needed. Overall, the platform makes it easy to run my business and keep everything organized.

Cons

The biggest downside is the iPhone app. While it works, it's not ideal for management, dispatching, or quickly adding customers while out in the field. The user interface isn't the most modern or visually appealing compared to some competitors. I'd also like to see more customization options for text messages and emails sent through the platform, although the pre-built message templates are still useful and save time.

Easy to use straight out of the box and flexible enough for all my job scheduling, tracking, customer communications and employee routing. The Map & routing function are invaluable. Our experience with Crew Control has been great!! From the platform overall to customer service. We literally have nothing negative to say! If you ever need a spokesperson, we'd be happy to do it!

Pros

Honestly, everything!! We love that it automatically organizes the routes to save on driving time, love that is stores client profiles, love all of the scheduling features, and love the payments portal. We even suggested that they add a feature in the suggestions section, and they responded within a week that they were going to work on adding it!

Cons

There's nothing we don't like about crew control! I'm trying to sit here and think if there's anything we don't like but there truly isn't.

Very good overall and something we use all year round. It has been reliable, easy to use, and helpful for keeping everything organized and running smoothly. The setup was simple, and everyone on the crew was able to learn it quickly without any issues. We use it regularly throughout the busy season and even during slower months because it helps save time and keeps communication and daily tasks much more efficient.

Pros

Very easy to use and simple to figure out. The guys on the crew really like it and had no problem learning how everything works. It makes things faster, keeps everything organized, and saves a lot of time during the day. One thing that would make it even better would be longer login sessions or a more reliable “stay signed in” option because having to constantly re-login can get frustrating when you’re busy working. Other than that, it has been a great experience overall.

Cons

One thing that would make this way better is a much longer login session or a “stay signed in” option that actually works consistently. Having to re-login all the time gets frustrating fast, especially when you’re switching between work, coaching, business stuff, and creating content. A lot of people prefer apps/sites that remember trusted devices for at least a few weeks instead of logging you out constantly.

So far I have been using it a few years with no major complaints. I will be continuing to use it as I do expect them to add even more features that their competitors offer.

Pros

Loved getting away from paper scheduling. The layout is simple and they continue updating to offer more features. They are also a lot more affordable than their competition. They offer direct invoicing to clients and keep track of the billing. I have not had to use customer support yet as I have had very little problems but i am sure they would be quick to answer any questions I have.

Cons

No major issues as of yet. I think maybe they could optimize a little better so it works on offline or limited networks. Also think they should have a feature that allows it to optimize for the entire week and not just by the day.

I am very happy with crew control. It has allowed me to keep my business organized and my crew accountable. The clients love the pre visit notifications and being able to keep their cards on file. It has made my operation much more professional.

Pros

I like how simple of a system that crew control is. Teaching my crew how to use it is ridiculously simple. The texting customers feature the day of service is a time saver.

Cons

I do not like the client side of the system. The save card on file button is hard to find for customers. I would also rather have a different payment processing system like stripe that clients may trust more.

Great experience with the software and the support is awesome! We have definitely grown how we use it as we learn more and more!

Pros

We love that we can schedule and monitor our jobs so easily. The invoicing is simple and we have had no problems keeping up with our payments and balances due. The Crew Control Office Hours are always very informative and they are constantly improving the processes and developing the product. I have contacted support several times for assistance and they are always helpful and responsive. For the money, this product is the best!

Cons

What's not to like? We have had not serious issues using the software and continue to use it for our daily work and billing.

Its been great - the interaction with Account Manager \[sensitive content hidden\] was so easy and efficient helping to bring us up on the platform and work through our learning curves. Our office team and our field teams have been able to replace a largely paper based system with this online, backed up tool. They now are saving hours on their days and have increased communication efficiency. For the capability that Crew provides - it is very well priced as you can manage this by the number of crews you allocate licenses to. Bugs are rare - but when identified they are very quickly dealt with by the Crew developer teams.

Pros

Many things are right at the top of the list: The knowledge that your data is backed up on world class cloud services. The speed of accessing your data Clarity on the scheduling - ability to color code for. easy field viewing An intuitive interface for the office and field users Great reporting capability Easy integration to Quickbooks - and easy invoicing The ability to have conversations with the excellent staff at Crew and work through problems together

Cons

I would like to see an ability to efficiently auto route drivers over a month rather than a day An ability to send out marketing blast emails But honestly these are super low priority and there are other solutions out there - so I appreciate the fact that Crew is leaving these off the table right now
