CC does what it is supposed to do except that it keeps stalling. Each time I enter a command, I have to hit the ALT key to get it to work.

Pros

Before Aspire took over Crew Control it was totally reliable. Over the past year we've had a recurring problem which Crew Control cannot fix, so they are blaming it on our equipment.

Cons

Customer service in addressing a problem that they told us to see if our IT guy could diagnose. We paid him to do just that and he found nothing wrong with our system. In fact, CC worked just fine the first 2 years we used it.

We've been really happy with it overall. As we continue to grow I think we'll be looking for more features - really dialing in profitability, etc. - but for our size right now Crew Control meets our needs. I'm sure we'll move up to Aspire at some point.

Pros

Features I want and a pricing plan that's small business friendly

Cons

Biggest issue is that there was zero on-boarding when I signed up. Customer support was always friendly and willing to answer questions, but I really would've appreciated someone walking me through setup. I felt like I was left to figure it all out on my own.

Happy overall. I am much more efficient and have more fully scheduled and productive days. I have been able to take on more jobs and make more money with the help of crew control

Pros

The way it texts customers and helps me to be efficient. Before crew control I would end up getting busy on the weekend and not setting up work for Monday now that it automatic every day is scheduled the way I want it to be.

Cons

You can not physically see all the customers on a map and group them together for routing. I also wish it would do chemical reporting records.

Pretty solid, but didn't stand out. I think some features could be added.

Pros

Real time location of crews. This is a must for our industry and Crew Control is very seamless to track our assets.

Cons

You have to pay extra for additional features. This could be a strength for some companies that want the bare-bones, but if you pay for the add-ons then you should probably go with a more expensive option off the bat.

Pros

Super simple to use--has cut down my scheduling, routing, and estimating time by untold hours.

Cons

I do wish there were a few more visual tools, or other ways to see reports on financials and hours vs. budgets, etc.... and a way to bulk-download my photos from jobs.

It fits most of our needs when we set out we were looking for something where we could do everything and send our tech notes and the clients we love it

I wish that it actually GPS tracing through a mobile app s we could track our techs and see who is the closest for a call

It was a challenge to get our foremen on board to use it. Now, they wouldn't want it any other way. They have their schedule sent to them early in. the day and changes can be made on the fly. After the learning curve and the ongoing updates as made it so much better. Thanks you!!!!

Pros

Keeping schedules organized and the ease of changing when the weather isn't cooperative on getting work done. The ease for customers for their deposits and payments. It definitely helps to keep cash flow going smoothly.

Cons

There isn't much. I would say that it does not work in bad cell reception areas, which is expected.

Pros

Crew control makes communication with our clients simple uniformity. It allows our text in the field to alert our clients when they're in route or when their job has been completed. It helps us budget and save time on job sites and track performance of our staff. It allows us to send quick easy estimates from the field. House receiving payments in a timely fashion.

Cons

Anytime we have ran across a feature that we think would work better for our business we send in a future request they review it and if it is beneficial as a whole they make changes and updates to their site to help all customers so at this time we're currently is not something that we like the least about. Other than photos being more accessible to other crews in the field and staying with the property versus currently you have to download them from each site.

Pros

Price is excellent. The customer service is the best I have ever encountered. The options as the constant addition to new features is always a plus

There are some things that I look forward to having available with Crew Control but, they are always welcoming to suggestions.

Pros

The \[sensitive content hidden\] of the company cannot stop raving about Crew Control. We have tried multiple databases and this is by far the best one we have used. It is very user-friendly and easy to navigate.

I would say my overall experience has been very good especially when I used to manage multiple crews. The pictures can be seen in real time that a crew will take on a job site and send through the app.

Pros

I used to be against the online software management and used the ole pen and paper for everything. I saw this software in a industry magazine and decided to give the free trail a try. I am so glad I made the move as this has made management tasks easier than before. No more paper trail to go through trying to find information on clients.

Cons

I wish the customer service sometimes had a live person to call instead of through chat. With always on the go running a business. a phone conversation can be easier than chat.

Overall, I've had a good experience with this program. It's made my planning and scheduling of the work much, much easier and quicker than the old pen-and-paper method I used to use. I no longer have to keep all the houses and scheduling in my head and now have a nice calendar view for all of our jobs to be done.

Pros

This service was exactly what I was looking for. I run a landscape maintenance company, and we provide weekly service to roughly 200 clients. This program allowed me to set up reoccurring job cards for each client, and allowed me to split the clients amongst my crews. I can easily see the progress of my crews throughout the day which is crucial for me. I also was looking for a program that would optimize the route for the day, to get my guys to the houses in the most efficient manner. I like the calendar view and the ability to easy move job cards between days or crews. I do a lot of shifting of schedules on the admin side, and it has all worked seamlessly for me. I no longer have to use excel to manage the schedule which has saved me a ton of time. I also like that the program allows my guys to leave notes and pictures on the job card for anything they see during their time at the house. I can then see these on the admin side and address them as needed.

Cons

I would like things to be a bit more customizable. There are various functions I would like to be able to do specific to the way I manage things that aren't possible with the current program. I would like an offline mode to be incorporated into the program as well. With everything operating on a website, if the guys don't have service at a house, the time won't log and it will sit on the job card window until they get service.
