Pros Zubtitle is by far the best software/app available for video content creators. Cons At this time, I cannot think of anything I don't like. About 5 months ago, maybe. But Zubtitle has recently started offering features I once longed for. Such as AI and Timelines. Reason for choosing Zubtitle Zubtitle gets it right more often than not. December 3, 2019 5.0 I loved using Zubtitles and signed up immediately for their subscription. I have made 4 so far and will continue to use their software for my videos. Pros I love how easy it is to use the software for making closed captions and titles on my videos. It took me less than 5 minutes to upload, edit and download the video. I love the options as you can choose your own fonts and colors. Cons There was nothing I did NOT like about this software from Zubtitles. It was a fabulous program from the start to the finish and the price was very affordable too. " January 25, 2022 5.0 I really liked Zubtitle, I had it implemented at my previous job and when I moved to this one, it was the first software I asked for. At the first company, I remember getting awesome customer service. That really stuck with me and was the main reason I recommended them to anyone looking for a solution to add captions to their videos. Now here's where my thoughts changed. We purchased an annual subscription with 120 credits and only ended up using 28 in the entire year. The membership auto-renewed, but PremierePro had added this feature so I wasn't planning on renewing. I reached out expecting the great customer service that made me choose and recommend Zubtitle in the first place, and was extremely disappointed. I asked for a refund since we hadn't used almost any of our credits in the year we had it. They responded telling me it had been used once since it was renewed and I was offered a 20% refund. 20% was not ideal since we have zero use for it now, but better than nothing right? So I said sure. Then, when I accepted it - they said they misread my message and that they couldn't refund us at all. "Their hands are tied." Now we have 212 credits for a software we don't need and are out the annual cost. I think keeping clients tied into something they don't need or use does more harm than good. I really liked you guys, but this was really disappointing. Pros Easy to use, makes adding captions easy, has customization options for fonts and such. Cons They weren't willing to refund us at all or honor the 20% refund they offered us when we asked to cancel our subscription. We used less than 25% of our plan all last year. We were left with over 200 credits that we don't need (almost 100 of those just being rollover from last year). Reason for choosing Zubtitle Their customer service is the reason I chose them, but it's also the reason I won't choose them or recommend them anymore. February 28, 2021 4.0 Pros It has save my time alot because I had a hard time thinking of the captions for my videos and photographs for my online business. It is easy to use and has many useful features and functions. I gives effortless results for your videos. Cons The only con I find is that it can not resize the videos and also it cuts the videos where the subtitles are added which does not look ,much appealing to the eye Review Source JA Joe A. Owner Professional Training & Coaching Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Must have for content creators" April 20, 2021 5.0 For someone that creates a bunch of content on LinkedIn, Zubtitle makes it easy to showcase certain teasers and clips in a way that professionals (who may be in the office and unable to turn on the sound) can still reap the full benefits of watching. Fully recommend it for ease of use and convenience! Pros Simple UI, but lots of options to take advantage of if you so desire. Like that you can include your own personal branding. The transcript and SRT file download options are extremely convenient if you want to turn your video into a blog post. The pricing model is fair and buying the full software is a no-brainer once you use it one time. Cons You can't subtitle more than 30 mins with even their most expensive plan. Not a huge issue, but I could see the market wanting 60+ mins in certain sectors. Review Source Rob M. One of the founders even messaged me on intercom (the actual person not the bot) and helped me getting my video sized properly for Instagram stories. Pros I use Zubtitle about once a week to add captions to my videos before I post them to Instagram. I love the automatic transcribing (which is shockingly good!) and the caption editing is super easy. I am a beginner to the digital world and the team at Zubtitle has stepped up every time to help me. Pros Ease of use of simply uploading a video and being able to get it transcribed automatically with very few errors is extremely convenient. Other software does not allow you to edit the subtitles Cons On a 10MB (fairly consistent) ADSL line, uploading videos can take a while, but this is not a software issue. It fully transcribes the audio from your​ video and converts it to subtitles that match up with the speech in your video. Definitely saves a lot of time doing it myself or even hiring someone else to do it for me. The pricing is very reasonable too.
