Host Tools is a channel manager and property management system for short-term rental hosts and small property managers. It connects to Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com through certified partner APIs rather than iCal links, so calendars, rates, and guest messages move between channels in seconds instead of on a sync schedule. The software automates guest and cleaner messaging, sends review requests on a timer you set, answers booking inquiries with AI trained on your own past conversations, adjusts nightly rates and minimum stays with pricing rules, and issues a smart lock code for every reservation. Host Tools will work closely with you to analyze your current setup with another channel manager, set up everything for you (listings, calendars, message rules, locks, etc) and then get on an in-person call to go over everything so you can go “live” together. This means the transition is super smooth, and there is almost no down time when switching from one piece of software to Host Tools. Unbelievable product! Unparalleled customer support! Some of the competitors are only interested in serving multi-property clients, and they could care less about individual owners. Host Tools hasn't forgotten this crew, and I am very loyal to them as a result. Pros This is a high-value product managed by a team that understands the industry, relevant technical partners, and business trends that property owners have top-of-mind. It provided the best option to manage a property across multiple sales platforms at once. Plus, support was always attentive and personable.
