### "Top-notch technical support, dependable and robust platform"

March 23, 2026

5.0

We have had over a decade working with Envoke (within a University setting), operating across multiple accounts. Our experience has been consistently positive. Our email and marketing campaigns have grown in sophistication alongside Envoke, as the company itself has improved its design and features. Thanks to Envoke, we are far more sophisticated in terms of our layouts, analytics assessments, auto-imports and effective usage of tags and segments.

Pros

We have been using Envoke for many years now, and have always been extremely impressed with their technical support. We have had tricky technical challenges and requests and the Envoke Team's responsiveness (and accessibility) is top-notch! We also appreciate that we have never had any issues with security or performance - their platform is very robust.

Cons

There are sometimes unexpected quirks when working with the templates. The design features have improved greatly in recent years, but there can still be unanticipated results when rendering on a specific e-mail platform (these are usually minor but annoyingly hard to troubleshoot).

### "A true Asset service partner in the world of mass emailing."

March 13, 2026

5.0

We had a very large and customized need to deliver out 135,000 individualized custom emails that contained an individualized table in each. This was the first problem as most emailing groups don't handle tables, at least not well. When we approached them, they were able to provide a solution right away and even took our needs back to their develop group for future considerations. We had previously used other groups and always ran into issues, often around reporting and logging. This was always the second problem getting good after-action reporting and they had it nailed. With one click we could go into the live reporting screen that had every statistic and breakdown that we could have asked for.

Pros

Envoke was very easy to use, affordable, got the job done and the staff were very supportive and responsive when you had issues. Being a Canadian company and having data sovereignty was also a big bonus.

Cons

My only complaint was that they weren't advertised enough and it took us way too long to find out about them.

### "Stellar customer support, okay product"

November 15, 2018

3.0

Pros

We chose Envoke because it's a Canadian company that was willing to engage with our procurement process, and could provide us with a customized service that allows us to connect mailing lists with segments of our internal contact databases. Their customer support is really stellar and they invest a lot in making sure that we know how to best use the tool.

Cons

The UI for creating and managing messages needs a refresh, and is based on a model where new messages are created from a template filled with dummy content that you swap out (rather than a UI based on providing a canvas and a drag-and-drop library of elements that fit with our design). Some of our users who've worked with Mailchimp and other services find this awkward. We work on an agency-type model, so there's one administrator account that manages over 50 'client' accounts, and the workflows related to this are tricky - it's not clear which client account you're in, you can't open (and compare between) multiple client accounts at the same time, and you can't set global preferences (ex. Analytics tagging ON by default, 'sent by Envoke' message OFF by default) that will automatically be applied to all new accounts. Giving a single (client) user access to multiple client accounts is also awkward, and means that some of our users have four or more different usernames for different Envoke accounts. Creating those user accounts involves some minor frustration with the workflow for creating and sending users their account credentials and passwords.

Response from Envoke

November 28, 2018

Thank you for your comments. We have now included an option to view email activity per account in custom date ranges, which is helpful for agency-type accounts like yours. Displaying the current account name on all pages is now in development as per your feedback and we have also added your user management related thoughts to our "wishlist" which is reviewed by product management to help shape upcoming releases. Please don't hesitate to add additional comments any time.

### "More than just a Canadian Email Marketing Service"

November 5, 2025

5.0

Excellent. Software is intuitive and modern (drag & drop interface, re-usable sections, etc) while having lots of advanced options (API, automated sending, conditional content). Customer service is quick and responsive. The development team is regularly providing updates and seeking input from users on product improvements and updates to their roadmap. Product is well-priced and offers flexible payment options including pay-as-you-go.

Pros

Software that takes into consideration the needs of the Canadian market and regulations while being a first-class software. It's been designed not just an email marketing software as it's mandatory email configuration allows sending of transactional emails too. Using Envoke never feels like a compromise and it's easily one of the best available options for Canadian marketers and communicators.

Cons

Nothing to date. Having used the product for over 3 years, it's been regularly updated and continues to be a great product to use. Any questions our team has had have been promptly addressed while we've seen suggestions for product improvement incorporated into the product road map and released.

### "Give Envoke a chance, you won't regret it!"

October 2, 2025

5.0

I use it to build the a university newsletter and I find it useful for this purpose. I also send announcements and mass emails and I think Envoke serves best for this.

Pros

I love the fact that it is Canadian and it is straightforward! There are even tutorials available to watch. We are also happy about it's value for money.

Cons

The editing options could be more. I know there are a lot of features but one may need all the editing features of the Microsoft Work for example.

### ""Gets the job done""

July 7, 2025

Overall experience has been good. We started using ti back in 2021, and since it's a Canadian company, all data is inside Canada itself.

Pros

It's pretty easy to use. The team is small, but they are always responsive. I also like how they take most of our feedback into consideration.

Cons

It's not a dislike, but I would prefer a dark mode/theme. Reporting could be a bit better. No other complaints.

September 8, 2025

It's been a positive experience overall. Once we made the decision to switch to Envoke, we wondered why we hadn't done so sooner.

Pros

We were looking for a more secure option and Envoke provided that. The transition was seamless and we were well-supported. Envoke is simple and it was easy to get up and running quickly. We've been using the platform now for several months without any issues.

Cons

There were really no downsides! Their team was available to us throughout the transition and have remained in contact and supportive.

### "Envoke is Great!"

October 2, 2025

4.0

• Easy and enjoyable • Envoke makes editing the email newsletter easy • The templates they offer look fantastic

Pros

• Friendly user-friendly interface • Easy to create a new "message" template and edit it for the email newsletter • Prefer Envoke over Constant Contact

Cons

• Envoke needs a crop feature for the image • Editing the email newsletter template can feel somewhat limited, as it only offers white or black versions of the social media icons (I would like blue social media icons that have the exact colour scheme to represent the company I volunteer for)

Amazing - great customer service, support, quick response time to questions and continued support to help produce a quality newsletter.

Pros

Cons

### "Great Tool!"

January 20, 2021

5.0

Pros

Envoke functionality is great and fully meets our needs. I really appreciate the FANTASTIC customer support, the online documentation and the embedded helper information. This makes it very easy to create lists and filters, upload contacts, build templates and emails and schedule campaigns. We reduced production time significantly- it only takes a couple minutes to setup an email campaign! I also really like the AB testing functionality (very easy to use and very effective), the welcome autoresponders or how easy it is to resend to contacts who did not open. Highly recommend this tool!

Cons

New features are added all the time. This is much appreciated!

Pros

### "I'm a big fan of the marketing data warehouse!"

May 11, 2017

5.0

Pros

A key component of Envoke is the data management functionality. Envoke has a data warehouse which holds all the interactions with our customers. I love that it is able to track visits from anonymous users even before they fill out a form, and once they do, it connects all their previous data together in a contact profile so we can tell which marketing programs are really working. The single Envoke script that handles all this and more, including installing other scripts, really cuts down on technical work we need to do. It helps manage tracking and reporting. It's a great tracking solution for nontechnical people. The integration of our website forms, tracking and email marketing system is essential. All our marketing data is in a single location and connected to our email database. It means our email list is always current, making email marketing so much easier. I love the fact Envoke can integrate with almost any other system we're using, and the team makes sure those integrations work seamlessly. For example, they recently combined data from their marketing database with other marketing data we track using a third-party data visualization tool - it's been a real win for us internally. I'm a big fan of the personal touch that's provided by the team. Having marketing technology experts I can go to at any time is fantastic. There's never been a point where they've come back and said: "no, it's not possible." The team always works to find a solution.

Cons

Some of the stand-alone email marketing systems I've used in the past were a little easier to use and had more flexibility of design out-of-the-box in their email editor, but there's still nothing I can't do. That's an expected trade-off when you using an integrated suite instead of a point solution.

Review Source

Response from Envoke

February 22, 2018

You are right; some leading email marketing software providers have more bells and whistles and advanced functionality that Envoke doesn't currently include. Keep in mind, however, that email marketing is only a small part of the Envoke ecosystem as we are not an email marketing point solution. That said, we do recognize the importance of a great email editor and actively work on improvements of the UI, version history, more intuitive workflows, expanded reporting - to name a few.

### "Envoke provides excellent customer engagement services. "

July 26, 2017

5.0

Pros

The software provides so many email templates and options that creating an engaging user campaign is extremely flexible, yet easy. I also find the customer service to be blazing fast, friendly and helpful when we required more complex solutions for our needs. The people at Envoke embody code and design which alleviates a good chunk of my time setting up an email. Envoke are willing to try new things and that has been helpful to us as we grew into online lead management.

Cons

The only downside I have is that as the site grew some services became buried. A new hire entering into using Envoke's services for the first time may feel intimidated on locating certain functionality or managing/filtering data. Fortunately there is online Chat and a robust support area and their customer service is always on the ball.

### "Envoke is the perfect solution for my work. It's cost effective and flexible with no long contracts."

September 8, 2017

5.0

Pros

Envoke being a Canadian company has been important for me. It allows my data to be stored domestically, and they have been very helpful navigating the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation to help my email to remain compliant. Envoke also has good analytics built right into the platform. This has been very helpful to allow me to streamline the content that I am sending to my subscribers. The email builder tool is fairly intuitive and easy to use and has helped my emails to look more professional. The email builder is quite flexible as well, allowing for many different looks, from their provided templates, as well as having an option for HTML. The Envoke team continues to make updates to the available tools and features. Envoke being accessible completely online has been very helpful as well, as I can update my content from anywhere at any time. The Envoke team is also very helpful. They often are able to answer questions or provide advice within a few hours through the online 'support tickets,' and are readily available by phone for more urgent matters. The full lead generation suite from envoke looks amazing, however at this point I can only speak to the email tools, but the same credit based system is used, so the cost for use of this would be fairly reasonable as well.

No other way to send thousands of B2B emails and get the statistics that they have. Wish I had taken the CASL issue more seriously earlier in the process

Pros

Well laid out and flexible for viewing several reports. Fast too. Easy to navigate. Reliable, only down once or twice in 15 years and I'm on it often during the day.

Cons

The save button on the contact screen isn't line up with the close button above it. The formatting in my newsletters is awkward...can't seem to get the line spacing right above and below an image.

The customer service / help team is small but incredibly responsive. They always adhere to a same-day turn around, often replying immediately. I like the personal touch they add. Their help articles are clear and their email or chat responses have always left me with concise answers so I can get my work done efficiently.

Pros

Nice clean design templates and the Envoke team is always ready to dig in and help us with design tweaks. Their emphasis on security and privacy is excellent and the fact that the servers are Canadian make all the difference, as I work for a Canadian organization.

Thanks Julie, We're very appreciative of your kind words on our customer support and ease of use. We take our import functionality seriously as we want to keep our customer databases clean and CASL compliant. To do that we need to ask quite a few questions in the import process. That said, we are working hard to make it more user friendly and appreciate any specific feedback. For example, we're about to release a function that allows importing of multiple values in a single column. This saves a lot of time for anyone who needs to import many possible answers to a single question. Let us know if you have anything specific you'd like us to address!
