I can look at individual staff profiles or different groups of them. It's easy to group staff as needed and keep an eye on each of those groups. It's convenient for our country leaders to monitor the finances of those who also work in that country and coach them or help them if necessary. Our Director of Recruiting can keep track of how new staff are progressing on raising funds. Additionally, it's easy for staff themselves to monitor donations. They can track their progress and oftentimes know if they're missing a donation they expected. Its simplicity is sufficient for their needs and because of this, there's not much coaching or problems that arise from this software. Cons There is often some confusion with new staff about the discrepancies between differences in the "Donations" tab and the overall account balance. The "Donations" tab doesn't account for the expenses that come out each month from our staff account, but the tab that does account for those expenses doesn't update until the end of the month. However, this isn't a huge deal because it is easily explained to them how the portal works and they quickly come to the realization they don't have to be confused. The product allows us to track donations and donor information, as well as providing real-time account status to our members. We love the integration of Donor Hub with DonorWise, TnT Connect, and Givesite. These 4 products have streamlined our donor processing, member reporting, and website donations. TnT Connect gives our members a CRM designed for missionaries so that they can track their individual donors and receive updates on address changes and donations from Donorhub. Cons New updates to Donorhub are slow, but this is not a problem, especially in light of the value that we receive. Customer support has been amazing and the software has done exactly what we need it to! Pros This software allows our donor management software to connect to a platform that tracks gifts made to separate funds. DonorHub allows our church staff to track and see what gifts have come into their ministry fund. Cons The software doesn't work immediately, therefore there is a lag-time between gifts made and when they show up in the other platform. Reasons for choosing DonorHub I was recommended DonorHub by another church who also uses it for the same reasons we do. Rather than exporting reports from our gift-processing software and emailing them to workers one-by-one, we are able to give our workers access to a portal where they receive daily updates on new contributions to their ministries. Pros The biggest pros with DonorHub are how easy it is able to integrate to our gift-processing system, while allowing us to ensure that our workers only have access to the accounts and information that we want them to. The information is updated automatically, and can be accessed by our workers easily. It has been a big time saver. Cons Very few cons. Our organization tracks pledged money differently than this software, so we are unable to use that feature. Otherwise, it checks all of the boxes. There is a community that helps each other, but DonorHub is quick to make updates when needed. Pros This software has everything you need to stay organized and helps you to remember important tasks such as thanking donors. It helps you build a donor database that integrates with other services such as Mail Chimp and your online giving platform. It is the center of all your donor interactions. Cons Currently phasing out of Mac OS based software. I have used Mac for a long time and still have abilities to use, but have some glitches with it. The creator of this software has done a lot of work to integrate well-know donor management systems into DonorHub like SalesForce. Pros I like the support you get for this software. It was well-created and was originally used for a database called TnTConnect. Now it functions with all kinds of donor management software, like MPDX and I really like that it has such flexibility. Cons The difficulty of getting different ministries connected to Donor Hub for the integration into MPDX. I had a lot of back and forth trying to get that done. I believe it was a lack of education on how that needs to be done. Switched from [TntConnect](https://www.capterra.com/p/79189/TntMPD/) The company made the switch to accommodate their donor management needs. As a contractor, I helped facilitate the migration of the data from TntConnect via Donor Hub into MPDX. Pros I enjoyed being able to track my fundraising progress and have notes, birthdays of my donors so I can more easily interact and know how to better communicate, and not forget important dates, or information. Cons It was difficult to upload contacts and sometimes they wouldn't come through so I would have to do them by hand. This was time consuming especially in the beginning when setting up the program. (I'm sometimes called to give fundraising training to other organizations). in those demos, I show how I can so easily query any combo of contacts, how it integrates Mailchimp, how it so easily generates reports, even from a Mac into Numbers, and general tracking of the fundraising process. Pros Donor hub is thoughtful. It accomplishes what it's supposed to, but it's engineered thoughtfully from the user's perspective. What's most helpful has been the support, the combination of what's found on-line, and the options for connecting for support directly. Cons I can't access from my iPhone. I understand why though, given the architecture of the software.
