Excellent - fast, friendly and helpful customer service. A easy to use, easy to view product which allows me to invoice, receive payment, measure attendance, hold a detailed database, etc - all in one place rather than across systems or spreadsheets.

Pros

Class Manager is very easy to use..... and it provides me with the tools and reports to effectively manage the admin of the Dance Academy. It had cut my admin time from 40 hours a month to 10 hours a month.

Cons

Whenever there has been a gap in Class Managers features - within a few months they have added the feature. They are continually listening to their customers and improving their product. I’ve been very impressed with all the new features since I first purchased.

I have found that my termly invoicing isnt a chore anymore & also when it came to January and I had to pull all my accounts together, this was so much easier using the reports and I could just send my payment report to my accountant. Customer service has been fantastic, the facebook group is great, if you ever have questions they are answered straight away!

Pros

I love the fact I can do all my invoicing on here and also send emails to groups at such ease! I also really like the fact all my customer sign ups and consent questionaires are stored on here too, saves having so much paper. Love the fact all my important documents are in one place, including data, accounts, emails, class lists.

Cons

I think it would be good to have an app to download & also I think it would be great to have the SMS option free of charge.

i was recommended by other dance teachers who had used other portals, I also felt it was affordable and liked the tree trial and recommend a friend half price option too! I found it was really easy to use and loved the tutorial videos!

It’s just basically my dance brain for everything I don’t actually have space for in my brain anymore!!

Pros

It’s accessible, any questions from parents day or night I have the answers just there on my phone!!! Timetables, money matters, class numbers( great right now in current covid situation), people’s details everything you need really!!

Cons

I want the dashboard to be the front page haha minor con I know 🥴

It very easy to invoice and keep track of registers and non attendance They were very fast in integrating with zoom when lock down started Which helped us to keep our classes going online without a break

Pros

It’s easy to use plus the developers are very helpful, they listen to the customers ( dance school owners) and implement changes as and when neccessary

Cons

It’s still developing more features and once everything that’s needed is implemented it will be fantastic

I use Class Manager so that my dance school customers can enrol their children into classes and also be invoiced through the system. The POS system has recently been introduced which is great for being able to invoice for other items too however I can’t wait for there to be a front end version of this so that my customers can choose products to pay for such as dancewear rather than me having to get them to tell me what they want, for me to send them the invoice with it on

Pros

It has lots of great features and as more are added the price is the same so it is amazing value for money! It does exactly what I need it to in terms of being able to set up classes, bill my customers and with everything going on with COVID 19 they added an online classes option which has been a great help!

Cons

Some features could be more user friendly, for example class registers. They could be easier to fill in and I wish there was an option to view a table of all the weeks in a term and see who has attended and not attended as I could with paper registers, but the positive features outweigh the negative

Class Manager has a fantastic support team, no question is too big or too small. They take ideas on board and use the ideas suggested.For example Class Manager changed the an invoice selection for us.

Pros

Class Manager is clear and easy to use even with multiple venues and over 100 students. We like the integrated Stripe Pay system which makes paying easy and traceable.

Cons

We found it very time consuming to add all of our data on initial set up.

After trying a few different software systems over the years this is by far the simplest and easiest to manage. Clear and concise. Great value for money and the team are great to deal with- excellent customer support!

Pros

It's very user friendly. You don't have to be an IT wiz to work it out.

Cons

They are a new company, so slowly adding things to the list of capabilities, but very conscious of pleasing their customers and always asking for input on new features before implementing them.

The help and support that they give you is brilliant. I love that they listen to their clients and evolve the system based on needs. I also like that it’s a fixed fee and that you are not penalised for having more clients or wanting to use all aspects of the system.

Pros

Being able to send invoices at the click of a button, clients able to access their area for all information, able to send an email to everyone easily

Cons

You can’t put a class on hold you have to change dates and archive it. If you no longer have certain clients involved in classes even if you do an email to everyone they still come up on the email.

Pros

We normally have traffic of over 100 per week, it’s surprising how many forget there fees, however with Class manager we can keep track which helps our running and efficiency of the studio. I love the invoice system, this has also made my life easier Thank you

Sometimes takes me a minute to get used to updates. But once we do we love them 💕

It’s made my admin much easier and cut the time down substantially. You can quickly and easily see how much you are owed in fees and who has and hasn’t paid which makes things much easier. You can also quickly and easily chase up outstanding invoices.

Pros

The instant access to a human customer service agent via the online chat is without a doubt the best out there! Any issues, questions or problems are sorted quickly and easily.

Cons

Some of the features are difficult to get your head around at first. Not very obvious. But once you understand it, it’s much better. Also some things you would like to do for everything, you have to do individually. But again, once it’s done once, you can copy it month by month.

Class Manager is a great tool and we would highly recommend it for independent dance schools. The customer service/tech support is very good.

Pros

Class Manager has been beneficial to us, especially when organising Zoom classes during trying time. The functionality is great and has been a help in terms of organising parents/students and ensuring that we can communicate with everyone effectively.

Cons

There are still some improvements that we could see in terms of the admin/user right section, but we have seen Class Manager making great changes recently, so we are keeping fingers crossed that this will be fixed over time.

From the very beginning when all information etc needed putting into the software and I was setting my school up the staff at class manager was on hand to answer the silliest of questions making me feel like I wasn’t alone. They remain in touch always updating the software and it’s features. I cant believe that I only pay £25.00 per month to have all what it offers....... I use to spend £70 on steps posting out invoices and this software offers so much more than just the invoicing. I was the best thing I ever did for my Academy.

Pros

I love the ease of this software and the fact they are for ever developing it to meet the needs of the changing times.

Cons

I love this software and currently have no complaints.

At first, we were not sure whether we had made the right decision moving across to Class Manager but the helpful Customer Services team have helped us along the way and as the platform has developed we have found it has ticked most of our boxes

We like the ease with which we can send bulk messages to students and customers and the portal.

Cons

Certain features in the billing and accountancy could be more flexible

Fantastic System which I couldn’t be without.

Pros

The registration for customers is quick and easy. We now have all the information securely in one place covering GDPR. Everything in one place making communication with customers easy and quick.

Cons

I had a few teething problems with the pricing system, this is now improved and problems solved. I would love to be able to create a personal information form to collect data specific to us as a business. For us, exam results which can then be seen on mass would be great. I currently keep this in a document separate to the system.

As mentioned above Class manager has cut down my admin time hugely and I don’t dread sending my invoices. It’s easy to use, there is incredible customer support and the team listen to suggestions and add new features all the time. Thank you!

Easy to use. AMAZING customer support. Has cut down my admin time HUGELY. Couldn’t live without it!

Cons

I’d like the trial system to be set up with reminder emails and follow up emails as I currently use Calendy for this reason.

From the zoom call at the beginning to now, I have probably used class manager every day. The free trial was great as that gave me time to work my way around everything and input all of my data and by the time I started paying, I was flying with it. Wouldn’t go back.

Pros

The team are always there to lend a hand with anything you need. The live chat is always so quick and if not they respond via email super fast too. The software is great and has really made it easy for me to be able to simplify my admin and keep my customers all in one place.

Cons

It would be great to have an option where you can void and awaiting payments.

The system has proven to be a complete package for my business at this point in time. As additional features are added - I am finding they are all just as useful and easily implemented and applicable to my business.

Pros

The software is incredibly easy to use. The customer service and support is the best I have ever seen. I have never had a query go unanswered. And they also seriously listen to feedback and implement suggestions in record time.

Cons

It doesnt save previous discount schedules - so its important to have your wits about you whenever you are making these changes.

It's been superb!

Pros

Customer service is outstanding and they are always on hand to help me out when I can't see where I am going wrong. Easy to track payments and contact customers. The parent portal is also really easy to navigate for parents :)

Cons

The team are excellent and really do listen to feedback and implement it. I would like a weekly rather term register but it's very small!

The team listen to what you want out of the software and are constantly adding features

Cons

They only down side for me is that registers are already marked present, and you then mark students absent, but I believe the team are looking at changing this to make it more studio friendly.

Problems are few and far between but when needed the technical support has been swift and efficient. No more than you should expect these days but not many companies get it right and at present Class Manager have exceeded expectation.

Pros

Really straight forward to use. Search function front and centre. Easy of amending class details.

Cons

There were a couple of features that did not exist, or we could not access, when we started that did not work particularly well for us, specifically trials, which when we discussed with Class Manager they worked up a solution that is now working fantastically well for us.

Class Manager is just BRILLIANT. They are so responsive to feedback and the ever-changing needs of their clients. They are personable, professional and the software is fantastic. I’ve used 2 others and this is by far the best and the cheapest! Don’t hesitate! xx

When I started it was new and needed a few extra things - but the team IMMEDIATELY implemented them after feedback.

Class Manager does everything I want it to do, and in particular the email facility is better than with my last programme

Pros

I changed from a competitor's dance school software programme to Class Manager because it was a cheaper option which seemed to offer more for my money. It was very easy to import everything over and I was given lots of support in doing so.

Cons

Sometimes I find it difficult to navigate to what I am trying to achieve, but the online support is very good and they are very quick to reply which is really helpful

Excellent , it’s made the move to online learning so much easier and we now have all our info stored somewhere central that we can Access and the calendar and other administrative tools have made us look much more professional and organised so we can get on with the fun creative stuff !

Pros

Ease of use for parents and staff . Prior to class manager we had no way of knowing if our messages were being read and acted on. The daily email reminder for zoom classes ensures we are reaching our students and parents . The customer support has been excellent !

Cons

When composing an email I sometimes would loose my progress if I forgot to save draft when opening other windows
