As examples, (1) we have enabled triggers based on status changes for our sales orders. So the customer relationship manager gets an automated email with customer details for all the delivered orders though they are not involved in the processing or tracking of the order. (2) A time sheet that captures worker productivity at a task level, sub assembly level, batch level which has helped us immensely in optimizing manufacturing process across the 30 plus items we make (3) REAL TIME TRACKING of finished goods and raw material inventory based on RM purchases, RM issue, production, FG sales, FG returns etc. We use this in combination with automated email reports to the concerned personnel when items go below their restocking levels to enable prompt actions that helps us keep out of stock at <5% levels for the first time. Pros We are able to build complex workflows connecting raw material, production, inventory, sales allocation, sales and dispatch and returns .. all customised to our needs. We didnt get that in any off the shelf software that we could afford. Cons Requires some hand holding to create the more complicated reports especially when they involve multiple sub-sheets. Tigersheet helps us tackle the Process aspect without heavy investment in technology. So, it's a wonderful testing ground for features we want to integrate in our core system. Pros 1\. Tigersheet is highly customizable allowing us to configure fields, alerts, logic, color coding as per our business needs. 2. A sheet like interface makes it as easy as using any spreadsheet application. 3. Cheap, very cheap but provides immense value. Cons 1\. The UI could improve a bit, but we are ready to live with lack of it for great functionality.
