Ministry Assistant Religious Institutions Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Vanco = Convenience" November 6, 2025 5.0 Once the initial set up is completed, it mostly runs itself! I use Servant Keeper to post contributions weekly. Servant keeper was integrated with Vanco so that I could transfer donor contributions by just clicking a button. That feature was removed by Servant Keeper but Vanco found a way around it so that I can still transfer donor contributions with ease. Pros It is convenient for church members and others to give a donation from the comfort of their home or anywhere they may be. Cons I don't really have any dislikes. November 4, 2025 5.0 We have a smaller church, and VANCO has given us the convenience of accepting online payments for not only tithes but also outings, fundraisers, etc. Pros VANCO has been very user-friendly on both the administrative and congregational sides. It is streamlined and straightforward to understand. It is very economical as well. Cons I can't think of anything I don't like! As long as you enter your information correctly, the system does a fantastic job! It is also very user friendly and reasonably priced. Cons We have not had any problems with Vanco Faith. We are very satisfied with the service and have not had to call for help. Cons Maybe have a QR Code for donating to make it easier for some people who would like to donate through their phone and are looking for a quick way to do it. We increased 100% in our giving and for special offerings such as Memorials for funerals it helps for those not in town who still want to make a donation in memory of the loved one or friend. Pros The ease of bringing donations into our Church Windows program. Give Tiles easy set up to accounts. Givers are able to set up one time or recurring without any complications. Cons Nothing love it all. Vanco has great suggestions for reaching out to bring people in to the church and then giving them easy way to help the church and their programs. They don't just sit back and take the fees for giving they give back. I know I can get the help that I need and get it almost immediately. Pros Personally, I am not always having to go into the back end of the program to make changes, so I forget how things work. However, every time I have had to call support, I am cheerfully greeted by very knowledgable people who quickly fix the issues I am experiencing. Our church members LOVE how easy it is to use and know they have the confidence that their donation is safe and secure. Cons I get confused about what has to be done using the old login and what has to be done using the new login. Also, there is a glitch that keeps getting our church mixed up with another church that is only 15 miles from us. It kind of gets confusing to some of our members. October 31, 2025 5.0 For the most part I have had a very positive experience with Vanco. Geared toward faith giving with great report outs and seamless uploading into our accounting software, I'm happy. Pros I like the creation page for setting up funds. It's easy to use and it looks slick when it's all done. They also send us daily reports of transactions so you can check for errors like a declined card or similar. Their End of Month statement is great with a summary page and detail pages of all monthly transactions. I also like that they keep a watch on their tech and coming up with new ideas for how our church collects online donations, like a swipe reader and in video asks with their new "watch from home" feature. Cons They have two portals, one for donor management and another for setting up your on-line payment pages. It is not seamless if you need to use both for a project or whatever. I would love if they would integrate the "Old Vanco" into the "New Vanco!" The last time I called customer service I wasn't super happy with the attitude of the rep and it turned out she only solved part of my issue. Review Source Ryan B. The customer support is fantastic and Vanco continues to make adjustments that allow quick turnover time with troubleshooting any issue we have. It makes a huge different when you work with someone that is full of knowledge and knows how to best guide you. I can tell everyone at Vanco is passionate about their work and want us to feel like we are their only customer. Very impressive! Pros The tile system is fantastic. It allows us to create a custom look to our funds that makes it easy for our donors to identify the correct one. The checkout process takes less than a minute, even if you are a first-time user. Cons Editing current gifts because it doesn't automatically add the credit card offset fee, so people get confused with that. This issue is in the process of being fixed. Review Source JH Joseph H. You have to become familiar with the terms that Vanco uses and how best to integrate it into your own system. Can't say enough about their support. Pros I like that this product integrated with our church management system, Servant Keeper. They also recently made improvements and replaced their GivePlus app with a new Vanco app. Major changes were made to the customization of a businesses web portal. Their support has been wonderful as they continue to implement these changes. Cons Anything we might have least liked about the software were addressed in recent upgrades. Reason for choosing Vanco Faith Pricing plus six months free trial. It integrated to Servant Keeper. November 6, 2025 5.0 I am new to my position as Church Administrator at Plymouth Church. So, for me to be this excited about Vanco, it has to be easy and completely comprehendible. Pros The Vanco reports give you all information you need to know about the deposits going into an account and fees coming out. Cons I believe that two reports a month would be sufficient. Currently I am getting two emails a week. A lot of the information is duplicated and that wastes paper if the reports are needed to be printed out for any reason. Review Source GS Gloria S. I love being able to just transfer all the data into our platform (works well with ICON) at any given time for any time period! Pros The way congregants can be in control of their own contributions is the best part! I can easily look up individual's information and forward to them if needed to reconcile a person's online giving (and personal account giving). The way it works creates a seamless fund management, bookkeeping and is a nice value for the money. Cons Cannot think of any, it works with us, not against us. This is not against Vanco Faith. I would love to use more of their features but do not have the base to do so. Pros Vanco Faith is easy to use for donations and handling digital income. They make it incredibly easy for people of all ages to donate electronically. Cons The largest issue that I have had with Vanco Faith is that I do not stay signed in very well. The notices for the payments are timely. Pros Once in the program, the ease of being able to add people. I've only used it maybe three times, or twice. Not real proficient on the entering of new contributors. Cons What upsets me the most is getting into the system. It seems like my password never works. This happens almost every time. It is also inexpensive in comparison to other brand name companies. Pros I like the ease and simplicity of using the online site to edit information. It is very simple and I have had no difficulty. I can also easily edit the amount of money each donor is going to give and save it easily as well. I also like that it's an inexpensive solution compared to other big brands. Cons Last year, we ran into an issue with or company where they charged people's credit cards when they shouldn't have, which was a stressful situation for our administrative staff to solve and then communicate to our donors. Our contribution secretary's tasks are much more efficient because of VANCO. But the best reason for using Vanco is, our giving increased substantially when we offered this giving option to our congregation. Pros The idea behind GivePlus is to make tithing an easy process. Once it is set up, it seems to work fairly well. Pros The mobile app feature from the user prospective is super easy. Once you set-up your information profile for the first time it is as easy as 1,2,3 to make a donation to our church. It is secure and gives me flexibility to make one time or regular recurring donations. Cons On the backend of the software it is a little challenging. The reporting process is a little funky. I am sure that also has to do with the ChMS that we are using. But with a few weekly users it is still a several step process to record the online giving. Review Source HW Holly W. There are also lots of tutorials to help. We are happy entrusting our electronic payments to them and recommend them to anyone searching for an option. Pros Vanco has made it easy for us to securely accept card payments for regular donations as well as fundraisers and special events and most of our congregants feel confident about electronic giving. They have recently made the version seen by our congregants much more user-friendly and the design is much improved. Cons We would like a way to integrate QR codes with our electronic giving options to make navigating to the webpage easier. The administrator version is older and not as user-friendly, can take a while to figure it out.
