Being able to accept donations through debit/credit/ACH online has worked well with our church. Pros Vanco syncs with the software that we use for donations and accounting (Church Windows) which make it easy to transfer into our accounting program. It was easy to set-up. Reports are easy to look up. Anytime I have had questions, customer service has been friendly and helpful. Cons 1\. It can be expensive. The fees really add up. 2. The app does not work at all. Every church service several members would come and tell me the problems they had with the app. In theory, it's a great idea but a nightmare to work with. Review Source MI Mary I. We are happy with the response from our parishioners who use it. Pros The Vanco online system was easy to set up and easy to run. It is a great value for the money. Our parishioners find that it is easy to use and payment processing is very timely. Cons Since we set it up there are hardly any issues. November 3, 2025 5.0 Vanco was able to show us that our church and school could utilize online payments without costing monies we were trying to raise. Their fees are resonable and our donors are willing to consider the processing fee as part of their giving. Seriously our monthly fee for the company is pennies!!! Pros My favorite thing about Vanco is that I've never had an issue or a worry about our online giving since we began with the company! Their processes are logical, the system and reports are easy to follow, easy to adapt to my own bookkeeping system and very affordable! Cons Vanco was not the first company we used for online giving so I can honestly say that, especially in comparison to the companies before them, we are very happy and I don't have a least favorite point with Vanco. Vanco notifies me of all transactions. Everything is handled efficiently. Pros Payment processing is easy and painless. I appreciate the notifications. I have no issues with Vanco. Cons I do not know how to contact Vanco, but I've had no reason to contact Vanco for anything. Easy to use. Anytime questions arose staff was always efficient add quick to answer my question or to help me correct a mistake. We continue to use you on a regular basis Pros Schedule of processing requested transaction. Are parishioners appreciate the ability to make modifications to their giving very efficiently and effortlessly. As the coordinator of this I really appreciate that. Cons Updating passwords is a hassle when it has to be done as frequently as you require it. But I do understand the need to maintain integrity of the files etcetera Review Source Audubon United M. October 31, 2025 5.0 Our experience with Vanco Faith has been nothing but positive and I recommend to all churches regardless of size. Pros Vanco Faith is so easy to use. The customer support which I have rarely needed has been excellent. It is our most reliable source of income and not dependent on church attendance. We have over 20 funds our members can utilize on Vanco to support the work of our church Cons I cannot think of anything I dislike about Vanco Faith. It works great. It operates smoothly. Pros Vanco is easy to use. The weekly and monthly emails of deposits is very helpful in keeping our bookkeeping up to date. Customer service was very helpful when we contacted them. Cons I wish more people would use Vanco for their donations to church. It is difficult to communicate to them the ease with which it can be used. I believe the age of members contributes to their reluctance to use Vanco. Ease of Text to give and Simply Giving and the choices our donors have for their gifts make Vanco a safe choice. Pros Vanco Faith takes the payment processing so easy. We don’t have any members’ credit card information and payments show up on the specified dates. The convenience of this service out ways the cost which is lower than competitors. Pros As the administrator, I really like the immediate notification of donations. Everything I need to know is included in the reports! I receive an email once payments are set-up, processed or deleted which is convenient. Pros It is easy to set up the different tiles for the different payments. I like being able to request the different reports directly from the system. Refunds are easy too. Cons I would like the option to have the credit cards fees applied to the donor/payer payment and not an option for the payer. I would highly recommend them for online giving! Pros The customer service at Vanco is excellent. We've used Vanco for online donations for over 10 years and they are always helpful when we have questions. They are quick to respond and helpful in resolving any questions we have. Cons For online giving, we have several funds that people can give to. Each giving option has a "tile" that shows on the online giving page. I wish we had the option of making these tiles smaller so that each one wouldn't take up so much room on the giving page. Review Source TC Tracey C. I highly recommend Vanco as a tool to increase giving within your organization. Pros Vanco is easy to set up and easy to use. We have increase giving by $1000 dollars per month. Customer support is quick to help with any questions or issues. We have not needed customer service but a few times due to the Vanco is so easy to use. The cost is very reasonable. Pros It is very easy to use both as a member to enter a donation as well as on the church side and the reports, information, etc. that is available thru Vanco. Cons I don't see any that stand out. Our school district now uses Vanco. They provide a full-featured financial package to churches with options that you can add to enhance your service to your congregation. Pros Because they began "in Faith" they continue to provide a product designed specifically for Churches. They provide all the options that we would desire. Truly would have been so much tougher if we hadn't gotten it. Pros Monthly reports are clear and easy to understand and we've never hit a snag that Customer Support wasn't able to help with immediately. The support is genuinely outstanding. Cons I understand the wisdom of changing my password regularly, but I definitely wouldn't do it if you didn't force me to... Probably not a con! Pros It is easy to use, both for the administrator and the congregation. It helps to be able to determine when funds will be deposited. Able to accomodate special, one-time giving programs. Adding one-time or short-term giving initatives is reasonable to do with VANCO. Pros Most impressive part for us was the ease to integrate the process on our web page. Its just a small part but helped us get going. Cons The behind the sceans accounting contortions we have to go through with our accounting system to split out merchant bank charges. It reallly doesn't have much to do with VANCO but is the most time consuming activity for us. The ability to do a QR code that can link directly to a specific project/area that we are looking to collect donations for is a great asset as well! Pros It is very easy to use. The reporting is detailed. Church members are able to give at their leisure in whatever method they prefer. Cons Nothing, unless of course fees could be reduced. Easy to get through on their helpline. We have no intention of switching. Pros We have not found a better value service for online giving than through Vanco. It is easy for our members to use and we have never had a problem with the actual service. It is very simple to set up. Their customer interface is good. Cons The admin interface of Vanco Classic is clunky including pulling reports and adding new users. It's not difficult, it is just not intuitive. Very easy to use both from a church stewardship view and our church members using it. Pros Easy to use, variety of ways to offer online giving, instant notifications of gifts and payments, and money transfers were quick. Pros Vanco Faith is easy to use, even for those who have less than stellar computer skills, and provides us with a variety of options to meet our needs. The way it works creates a seamless fund management, bookkeeping and is a nice value for the money. Cons Cannot think of any, it works with us, not against us. Reports are easy to access and print for our secretarial staff. Pros It is easy for our church members to use for their tithing. They also can readily tabulate it in their bank accounts.
