I would highly recommend Ant Media Server to any of my clients or colleagues. I used Community Edition for almost 2 years while building my platform and I was able to reach out to their team anytime with questions, and even was able to demo the product before moving to Enterprise, just so they could confirm it was the right move for my project. Most other companies would have tried to push you to buy, regardless of what was best for you - I never got that vibe from them, which was much appreciated. Pros Ant Media Server allowed me to build a platform using Community Edition for free, which was not possible with other offerings. Ant Media also had a full suite of features that I wanted to have access to, like low latency WebRTC video and SRT transmission options. Cons The Dashboard interface is not great and has been slightly buggy for me in regard to deleting videos/streams and maintaining archives. We do have Axis Camera and a NVR, but it is too much work for admin staff to log in and look at live feeds. We set up Ant Media with a web page and all the staff has to do is open the web page and view live feed. Couldn't make it any easier than that. Pros Ease of use, ease of setting up and ease of installing on Linux. We are using the free community edition, and that is a big Pros. Cons The free version has a few seconds delay.
