The account manager that helped me was very knowledgeable about the industry and worked with me to make sure I had everything I needed. Pros I like that the pricing was very competitive and I was able to talk to one person throughout the whole process to get set up, instead of being bounced around from department to department Cons The only thing that slowed down the pace of my application was my own lack of knowledge about the industry and not having all the necessary financial records readily available. Cons Their Risk always blocked my account, something I had never had a problem with using any other system. They always inquired on relationships I had with my clients. Way too complicated and the system itself was like a dinosaur. They saved me both money, time and frustration. No longer do I call some offshore office with non English speaking people only to be told no no no be put on hold endlessly and pass the buck. I did not have any expectations with the product other than it works with little to no regard by me, and that has been the case. Pros It was up and running fairly quickly. It works seamlessly with our web site and no real problems with its implementation. Cons I wish there were better customization options. I would like to easily control messaging and what shows up on the customers statement, as chargebacks have become a problem. The issue is I'm not sure of the fees till they are deducted from my account. The service is slightly more expensive than I thought. Last month I had paid over $300.. which is almost 10% of my earnings. Other than that, No problems. Also the bank held funds twice without telling me. I had to make several calls to find out why. Pros Software works great with Simplicity Collect. I could pull up an account and easily charge customers card. Cons No complaints really with the software. Switching from accounts is confusing. We run reports monthly for tracking purposes and reconciling. Pros The product is easy to use. It is the software associated with another software package that we use so we did not have a choice on which merchant company to use. Cons It is expensive for what we use it for. We do minimal credit card transactions each year but needed to be able to accept credit cards through another software program that we use and this was the merchant service associated with that software program.
