It has been a true time saver when reviewing bids!

Pros

I love that bids for jobs can be accepted virtually. I also love that it automatically tabulates the bids for you!

Cons

I wish that it was a little more user-friendly since you have lots of different people utilizing the software for each project.

CivCast is a critical tool that we utilize for all of our RFQ and RFP needs - it is both comprehensive and easy to use.

Pros

CivCast is both comprehensive and easy to use when we post Requests for Qualifications and Requests for Proposals. From conveying all critical aspects of the RFQs & RFPs to tracking questions and answers, CivCast has solutions for all challenges.

Cons

The only change I would recommend to CivCast is to allow the administrator to see who is asking specific questions without the need to download the CSV file with the more detailed meta-data.

The reps I have dealt with have been so quick to reply to my needs. They are knowledgeable and very helpful.

Pros

Quick and easy to upload document and get a project out for bid. The software is really is easy to use.

Cons

There is really not anything that I dislike.

I have loved using Civcast for bid advertising my projects. I have recommended this platform to other civil engineers.

Pros

This platform is great for public bidding projects. And if there are addendums to the bid documents, you can be confident that all of the plan holders will receive the addendums.

Cons

Right now, I can't really think of anything I like least about this platform. It seems very well thought out and it works as intended.

Pros

I really appreciate how easy it is to download the bidder's list and answer contractor questions. Civcast is also really helpful in putting together opinion of cost for construction projects to help the client determine how much they can realistically build if they have a limited budget.

Cons

It can be difficult to find a specific project at times.

great. no problems at all

Pros

very easy. great for communicating with contractors and plan houses. Didn't have to sit on the phone half the day making sure everyone picked up plans

none. Everything is very easy and the cost is not that bad for the service you get

Our firm has had nothing but great experiences with this product.

Pros

The user friendly set up & project controls allow for seamless bidding process.

Cons

The Number of Calls from non-bidders, other plans rooms & solicitors. I would like to possibly see a vetting, user review system of contractors added to this program so that there may be more confidence in choosing the right contractor for the project.

It is great.

Pros

Those who remember the costs and time constraints of paper bidding should love Civcast. It streamlines communication with your bidders and allows bidders to view to project without having to pay for plans...

Cons

It can be cumbersome and some contractors tend to need encouragement to use it for communication during the bidding phase. I wish accounts stayed with the company and not the user.
