### "High marks for CIVCAST "

This is the second time we have used the services and was another smooth and efficient experience.

Pros

The product posting process is clear and ease of use, information is quickly posted, and it is easy to adjust/edit documents as needed. Given the challenges of public bidding, CIVCAST makes bid delivery easy.

Cons

No immediate improvements are necessary .

Pros

I really appreciate how easy it is to download the bidder's list and answer contractor questions. Civcast is also really helpful in putting together opinion of cost for construction projects to help the client determine how much they can realistically build if they have a limited budget.

Cons

It can be difficult to find a specific project at times.

### "CivCast - A Great Tool to Display RFPs / RFQs"

CivCast is a critical tool that we utilize for all of our RFQ and RFP needs - it is both comprehensive and easy to use.

Pros

CivCast is both comprehensive and easy to use when we post Requests for Qualifications and Requests for Proposals. From conveying all critical aspects of the RFQs & RFPs to tracking questions and answers, CivCast has solutions for all challenges.

Cons

The only change I would recommend to CivCast is to allow the administrator to see who is asking specific questions without the need to download the CSV file with the more detailed meta-data.

This site simplifies the entire bidding process including allowing other plan rooms to participate.

Pros

The ease of posting documents and seeing the various plan holders. It relays information to the contractors in a quick and efficient manner.

Cons

Sometimes the various entities are mislabeled such as a sub-contractor is actually a general contractor.

It is great.

Pros

Those who remember the costs and time constraints of paper bidding should love Civcast. It streamlines communication with your bidders and allows bidders to view to project without having to pay for plans...

Cons

It can be cumbersome and some contractors tend to need encouragement to use it for communication during the bidding phase. I wish accounts stayed with the company and not the user.

I have saved a LOT of time by not having to send out plan sets and addenda.

Pros

It saves me time in publishing bid documents and addenda

Cons

If I have to find something to complain about, I have a little difficulty putting my project location on the Summary page.

we utilize this product to reach a wider network of contractors to bid our projects

Pros

VERY easy to utilize for presenting project for bid. We like how it notifies all plan holders of changes with one click of the mouse!

Cons

We didn't always get emailed with there was a question by a bidder.

I am Civil Engineer and have been using CIVCAST for most of my career. It is a great tool for soliciting bids for public projects.

Pros

It is simple and easy to use. No need for complicated features.

Cons

I cannot think of anything that I do not like about the software.

One of our clients requested that we use CIVCAST to bid one of their projects. I had never used it before but found it very easy to use. Again, uploading the documents was very easy and I liked that the contractors could ask questions via CIVCAST as well.

Pros

I found the software very easy to use. Uploading documents was so easy. It was my first time using the software and I would most definitely use it again.

Cons

Wasn't really anything I didn't like about it. It was my first time using it so there were some "first time" user issues but it didn't take long to figure things out.

The reps I have dealt with have been so quick to reply to my needs. They are knowledgeable and very helpful.

Pros

Quick and easy to upload document and get a project out for bid. The software is really is easy to use.

Cons

There is really not anything that I dislike.

Overall it was pretty good service, but I am not sure if it really is that much better than just sending the bid out myself.

Pros

It was pretty easy to upload documents and get them dispersed to the various contractors.

Cons

I never received any notifications when questions on the bid were posted and if I did not check, I did not know. It would be nice if there was a notification sent to me when contractors posted questions.

Hi, David. Thank you for the review. We do send alerts when contractors post questions, but you have to tell the system where you want those alerts sent. If you did that properly, and still didn't get alerts, it is possible those alerts went to your junk mail folder.

Pros

Ease of use and customer service. Throughout the process, anytime I had a question, they were answered promptly.

Cons

There was nothing that I was unhappy with when using Civcast.
