The e-mail connection to the calendar data base saves my e-mails to the specific file. Pros The simplicity of the basic functions and their connection--particularly the calendar billing and e-mail accounts which all used to be separate. Cons The print response. " December 28, 2016 5.0 I first used abacus while at a former firm, and at the time it was basically a calendaring system. It evolved, and I began using it after opening my own office. I have watched it evolve, and there have been significant developments, year after year. It's simple to use and reliable. Pros Simple to use. Solid investment. Excellent customer service. May 16, 2017 4.0 Pros Nice, clean organization, had a nice summary page that contains insurance info, treatment info, etc. Cons Communications were all heaped together, making it difficult to distinguish emails, phone calls, etc. And their customer service is HORRIBLE. Pros Calendering Features;Contacts, Reporting, Company Forms, WEB Intake Forms and the Personal Injury Fields, Forms and Reports. Cons It's a little complicated or technical initially. It is not the most user-friendly but it is very customizable, which is the reason I went with it. It is capable of really automating your practice if you take the time to learn to use it and setup the forms. Pros The product is easy to use and provides an effective tool to manage accounts. The next event feature allows one to keep on top of matters to be actioned. As the years wore on and the company got bigger they began increasing their price going from a purchase product to a license product and now they seek to require a monthly payment per user. The cost is becoming prohibitive for a smaller firm such as mine (5 lawyer firm). I will be looking for an alternative. Pros Performs essential function and is modifiable.
