Excellent customer service and ease of use. Pros Using the platform, it is really simple to make an interactive video. It has a great number of innovative options for creating interactive videos. Cons Given how powerful the software is it takes time to learn all the ways you can enhance your videos. Having an even more intuitive editing system would be amazing. Pros Relatively easy to use. Many options in regard to ways to edit videos. Cons Not as easy to use as other video editing software, such as Hippo. Although there are some similar capabilities to Hippo in video editing, LumaOne is greatly focused in the learning experience with the ability to create polls, quizzes, animations, scenarios and journeys. Cons It takes a bit of getting used to when you start- but over a period and with the help of their business support partners - you feel more confident in your skills and efficiency using the platform. Reason for choosing LUMA1 LumaOne allows you to seamlessly package pieces of learning onto one platform - in addition, it has the capability to build content that users can choose to navigate through based on their learning needs. Moreover, it allows tracking of learning/ completion by user/group, etc like an LMS. Above all, the customer support provided is unmatched - a dedicated resource who is not only available to assist even at a short notice - they also take requests and implement new features based on your feedback. LumaOne has been simple to use and allows the JDR team to control the content of our training material and assessments. With a central library that’s easily shared to different groups within the company, LumaOne will undoubtedly provide the step change JDR need to train our employees in the most cost effective and repeatable way possible. Pros It's very easy to create content from your existing data, such as PowerPoint and then add in additional video features to it either directly through the website or remotely through a phone. There are a lot of options to help edit and make the content as easy as possible for the intended audience. Creating assessments and polls is a great feature that will be widely used by JDR as a means of capturing competencies in all aspects of our business. The onboarding and customer care we received has been fantastic. It's clear that LumaOne really do care about us and have even made improvements where needed based on our experiences to date. Cons There are a lot of options that can be used when creating content, with some changes being made to enhance its user friendliness. Adobe capticvate is a very powerful tool with access to some amazing student data but overall it is unecesserally complicated and really expensive. LUMA ONE is true interactive video platform compatible on every device with out any complex workarounds. Pros So easy to use you can do it on a cell phone. Translate any course instantly, with a high degree of accuracy. Interactive video tools. Html mark up capabilities. Great metrics. Cons The UI styling in the back end may need a little jazzing up. As a platform, it keeps on improving, both functionality and ease of use. Still feel that the UX can be improved. But the final output is really what counts Pros It is so easy to create an interactive video using the platform, either shoot your own (you can shoot straight into the back-end using your phone or webcam) or use a URL. Pros We have just put our safety orientation video on Luma One and are rolling it out to all staff and business partners. The customer service that we received when producing this video (from \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]) was absolutely PHENOMENAL (I don't think we could have done this without her). It is easy and intuitive to use and straightforward to update and make changes to our platform. I would highly recommend it. Pros Luma has helped us to promote and market our school to the broader school community and especially to prospective parents. Visitors have found it helpful to watch the range of videos that show our staff and the school facilities before coming for a school tour.
