Pros

Ease of use, ease of set-up, good reporting and ability to create reports, responsive team, upgrades match user requests. Customers like this software, their ease of use.

Cons

There are certain times when fields in the system can be pulled for reporting, unless there is a customization. Understand customizing but these arent unique requests.

### "All you need to sell booth space!"

Overall, the experience was great. The tool is robust and the customer service team is quick and helpful. We only used the sales module (not the full exhibitor portal elements). While it served it's purpose, it may be a little on the expensive side for what we need, but we intend to move forward with year 2.

Pros

I appreciate that as a planner, I have the freedom and ability to manage the floorplan and show elements easily. Floorplan modifications are easy and managing sponsorships is pretty straightforward as well. We only used this platform for the sales process, but it seems that the use of their exhibitor portal would create a seamless user experience. The reporting had some good pros and the dashboards made finding records and action items very simple. Great user experience from our exhibitors - they seemed to like how the application flowed and worked.

Cons

The help articles are not very helpful. When looking for how to solve specific problems, I always needed to reach out to a representative. Updating the email templates was clunky. There is no simple way to preview your drafts or send test emails (that I found). Also, single one-off sales emails need to be created in an entirely separate area, which seemed strange and also resulted in some duplicative efforts (first year on the platform also, so this could just be a learning curve). The integration with cvent is lacking. I think this is more of a cvent problem - but for anyone using cvent in tandem with MYS - the "native integration" only includes VERY basic information (it does NOT include sending the booth number, among other things, which feels like a huge miss). While the floorplan and backend are very self-serve once setup - the application is not. If we found an error/typo/quick change - we had to send everything to MYS for updating. While they were pretty quick to get updates made, this did cause some frustration.

Just like McDonald's - I'M LOVING IT! The online program is fantastic and the MYS staff are even better!

Pros

Very intuitive and easy to navigate by all involved (staff, exhibitors, attendees). I like that MYS is always improving their product and offer great updates every year!

Cons

I wish we had more control of certain functions vs having to ask MYS staff to make a simple update for example. I also wish we could have public url's for docs posted in the ERC so that EAC's could have access to certain items without having to login.

I would recommend MYS to anyone. Every step: the sales process, onboarding, building the site each year has met or exceeded my expectations.

Pros

The customer service is great. Whenever I have a question my rep is quick to respond and the resolution is always simple. The back end is simple to use and quick to learn.

Cons

MYS cannot integrate into the NetFORUM payment module so we must manually input payments to our CRM and accounting software.

MapYourShow is the best platform I have used for exhibitor registration. The setup was easy, it is incredibly intuitive, and the support is top-notch. I have tried other well-known registration platforms before, but I encountered difficulties with all of them. It wasn’t until I used MapYourShow that I found a platform that truly meets my needs. Now, I no longer have to search for another solution.

Pros

MapYourShow is incredibly user-friendly and easy to navigate, making setup, registrations, and reports straightforward. If you need assistance, it's simple to reach out for help. The interactive floor plan allows exhibitors to choose their booths based on location and price, and they can see which other exhibitors are nearby to avoid direct competition. The automated emails streamline communication, and everything is fully customizable to meet individual needs.

Cons

MapYourShow is a little more expensive than some other platforms available. Additionally, I wish they had the ability for onsite name badge printing services.

We've had a great experience with MYS from the start. The Staff is wonderful and eager to assist with all of my questions and issues. They seem very dedicated to their clientele.

Pros

It is very easy to place a booth and amend the floor plan and works very well for our event. Our sales team and clients like it.

So far I've not run into anything negative. I'm still learning as I go along and so far MYS has met my expectations.

Fantastic! Communication with the Map Your Show team has been great. They are always quick to respond and it is fabulous to have them on-site during space selection. I use this program on three of my tradeshows and would recommend it to anyone in the tradeshow industry.

Pros

Last year, my company switched from A2Z to Map Your Show and it has been such an easy transition for our team. I especially love how intuitive it is to pull sales reports, send invoices, copies of signed contracts, collection notices, etc. - literally at the push of a button. The floorplans are also easy to manipulate.

Cons

I still have a little difficulty with resizing booth spaces. Merging is easy, but adding a deleted booth takes a minute for me. Fortunately, this doesn't come up too often, which may be why I don't have it down as quickly or as well as I could.

### "Already the best, and still improving with new features"

There are reasons Map Your Show has been so successful, and it's not just the quality of the product. I'm a 15+ year MYS client across several jobs. Throughout the time, I've had a great experience with every team member we've interacted with, whether it's the support manager helping with setup and day-to-day items, our sales account rep, or those in a variety of senior roles.

Pros

The user interface is second to none. From the back end admin to public-facing sales and directory modules, the layouts are intuitive, quick to load, and you can rely on everything working as it's supposed to. It's a big help to participants as they prepare for a successful event. The recent addition tracking performance metrics is also a very welcome feature.

Cons

The lead time needed to set up a new event admin with sales forms, floor plans etc. It would be helpful to have more control over certain seemingly-simple items in the setup without needing a service ticket, such as switching off the "bill me" option for payments in our admin and rewording/removing header text on some pages in the ERC setup.

Working with Curt and Heather. We are a very unique client and they both are understanding our requests as we learn about MYS and as they learn about us.

Pros

Platform is very intuitive including the conference module we are using.

Cons

There are a few - 1. Not having more standards in place and having to pay for items that seem logical and not have to pay for it? Example - We purchased the exhibits/sponsorship module and found out that when an exhibitor purchase Sponsorships, the do NOT receive a notification of what they purchased? why? when you order from Amazon or any other company selling - you receive a notification of what you ordered. 2. Maybe look into having exhibits and sponsorship module separated in the sense of co-locating organizations and the one responsible for sponsorships, can only have access to sponsorship sections.

Very positive. Highly recommended. I consider it the industry standard. The customer support truly is amazing - quick, helpful replies every time.

Pros

Intuitive, generally very easy to use, great customer support. Floor plan management in particular had been greatly improved over the last few years.

Cons

Some processes could be simplified (1 step vs 2 or 3). For example, some financial transactions seem rather tedious compared to other processes.

I like the support of MYS, a little on the slow side at time, but all individuals I have dealt with have always been very kind and always want to help.

Pros

I like how easy it is to add clients to the database and booths to the show floor. Easy sales process. I have already recommended MYS to many friends in the industry. I like most all the report systems.

Cons

I don't like the delete process of a company from the show floor. And I don't like how long it takes each year to set up our show.

Pros

I really enjoy the updates that were made to the ERC (Exhibitor Resource Center). I think it is way more sleek and modern looking. The old version was extremely dated. With the update, we are now able to add additional people to the portal, when that wasn't possible before. It's been very useful for us.

Cons

We sometimes run into issues with formatting emails. It's not the most user friendly at times.

I can wrap it up with a comment from our Project Manager who uses Map Your Show every day:I love MYS- it just is so easy to get stuff done!I will fight anyone who tries to take it away 😉

Pros

Creating the floorplan with booths, pavilions, labels, rooms, furniture...is so easy! Again, we love the reports and customization. The exhibitor dashboard is incredibly helpful for exhibitors. The upgrades and revenue share for that is a great way to re-coup some of the software costs. Customizing our own admin dashboard is super helpful also.

Cons

The email function times out and you can loose your content if not saved in time. The whole will time out which forces a user to sign in multiple times during the day.

Reason for choosing Map Your Show

We looked at several other software options, but Map Your Show came highly recommended by other users and our show management company GES.Map Your Show referred us to several other users who had made a switch from other companies. We were able to connect with them to better qualify the decision to change from our exisiting provider.

Pros

I have found that Map Your Show provides the most user-friendly floor plan, session, and agenda planning experience for our exhibitors and attendees, but the best feature for the show organizer is the ability to monetize your exhibitor listings easily and effectively through the upgraded listing offerings. I also value that the exhibitor "back-end" or Exhibitor Resource Center is easy to navigate for the exhibitor and highlights upcoming deadlines clearly and opportunities for them to increase their show presence. On the attendee side, the Show Planner functionality that allows attendees to favorite exhibitors and sessions is a valuable show offering and provides useful data for the organizer. Finally, the people at MYS really add to the customer experience - I truly feel they are our partners and are willing to heed our suggestions for improvement or enhancement. As with any software integration/implementation, you'll come across obstacles along the way and it's comforting to know their team will always take my call and work to find a solution quickly.

Cons

MYS seems to be built to be a standalone platform for selling exhibit space and displaying the conference information. However, most show organizers will need their event software to integrate with existing systems and not operate as a standalone solution, in my experience. MYS is very capable of these integrations, but adapting the platform to the show organizer's specific needs can be challenging.

With the use of MYS here at SME, it really has streamlined the Exhibit Sales side of things and has been beneficial for attendees in planning their time at an exhibition.

Pros

The software is very user friendly, not only for Show Management, but also for attendees and exhibitors. Should there be any issues/concerns, MYS has exceptional customer service! Also, the customization features are great in designing your own dashboard and custom reports. Attendees can create a My Show Planner to make appointments with exhibitors based on their interests.

Cons

I would like to see an option to be able to download and print all customer contracts, instead of going into each customer record to print.

My overall experience with Map Your Show has been wonderful. Our reps are wonderful to work with. If you have any questions or cannot figure something out they will make sure to help you. Ilike how they keep improving it with new updates as well.

Pros

I like how easy it is to learn and how the staff is so helpful.

I do not really dislike any part of the program.

Map Your Show has become one of the most important tools in my workflow. The platform is easy to navigate, lets me show clients real-time booth availability, and makes the entire sales process smoother and more transparent. Their team support has also been excellent and prompy responses and genuinely helpful. If you manage exhibits or sponsorships, this is one of those tools you end up relying on every day.

Pros

What I like most about Map Your Show is how much it simplifies the exhibitor sales process. As someone who’s constantly working with brands, sponsors, and returning exhibitors, having a tool that updates booth availability in real time is a game-changer. I can share the floor plan live during calls, walk clients through placement options, and immediately lock in spaces without any back-and-forth or confusion. It makes me look more efficient and keeps deals moving. The interface is clean and intuitive, which means I’m not wasting time digging through menus or explaining basic functions to clients. Everything is exactly where you need it. I also appreciate how smoothly it handles exhibitor profiles, lead capture, and event information, all the essentials are centralized, so nothing gets lost. Their support team has also been great. Whenever I’ve had a question or needed a quick tweak, they’ve been responsive and genuinely helpful. Overall, what I like most is that Map Your Show removes friction. It lets me focus on selling, supporting clients, and creating a better event experience instead of wrestling with software.

Cons

Not being able to assign more than one exhibitor to each booth so they have their individual profiles

So far, it's been a nice experience with Map Your Show. I use Map Your Show daily and enjoy doing so!

Pros

I appreciate Map Your Show's ease of use with simplified design and intuitive navigation. It makes for a pleasant experience when using it.

Cons

At times I feel that the reporting aspect is a bit confusing. The reporting functionalities are at times hard to determine what category they would be found in. Additionally, when you make your own reports, the creation path is slightly backwards, having to first create one and save it to then be able to customize further and determine if it is in fact pulling the information you actually need.

We’ve seen firsthand how their team has implemented meaningful updates based on user input, which makes a big difference in our day-to-day operations. The MYS support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with pre-show, onsite, and all throughout the show cycle. Whether it’s a quick technical question or a larger strategic discussion, they consistently provide helpful guidance and solutions.

Pros

The number one MYS feature I like the most is how operationally-sound and user-friendly the floorplan builder functions. The MYS reporting tools give us clear, actionable insights that help guide decisions and improve sales efficiencies. The MYS team is always responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in our success. And lastly, the custom MYS-to-HubSpot integration has been a game-changer, streamlining our sales workflow and making use of both tools where the data / account records are matched dollar-to-dollar.

Cons

We're hoping to see MYS invest in a revamped, modernized, and more competitive mobile app — one that offers a cleaner interface, improved networking features, and a more integrated user experience. For example, logging into the app and using the networking features is complicated when you're not integrated with registration.
