Pros

Ease of use, ease of set-up, good reporting and ability to create reports, responsive team, upgrades match user requests. Customers like this software, their ease of use.

Cons

There are certain times when fields in the system can be pulled for reporting, unless there is a customization. Understand customizing but these arent unique requests.

The platform makes it easy to create an engaging, easy-to-navigate interactive floorplan and provides the flexibility we need to manage a complex exhibition. Over the years, I've found the system to be reliable, scalable, and backed by a responsive support team. While no platform is perfect, Map Your Show has consistently helped us deliver a better experience for our exhibitors and attendees, making it an indispensable part of our event technology stack.

Pros

Map Your Show has been an invaluable tool for managing our Annual Conference & Exchange. I especially appreciate the interactive floorplan capabilities, which make booth sales, exhibitor management, and attendee navigation much more efficient. The platform is highly customizable, integrates well with our registration system, and gives exhibitors the ability to manage their own profiles and information. It has become a core part of our event operations and significantly improves the overall exhibitor and attendee experience.

Cons

There isn't much to dislike. Like many feature-rich event platforms, there is a bit of a learning curve, and some administrative workflows could be simplified. However, once you're familiar with the system, it becomes an incredibly valuable tool for managing exhibit sales and creating an engaging interactive floorplan experience.

With the help of MYS’s Booth Sales module, our show streamlined operations and elevated our exhibitors' experience. Switching to MYS resulted in faster booth sales, customizable floor plan management, improved reporting, and ultimately enabled our show to scale.

Flexible, user-friendly exhibit & floor plan management, faster booth sales, customizable reporting, and responsive, knowledgeable support.

Cons

I would love it if we could access exhibitors' history directly from their customer account, without having to go back to Admin Home and select past shows.

I’ve had a very positive experience with MapYourShow. The platform is powerful, reliable, and built around the realities of managing complex events and trade shows. The floor plan tools, reporting capabilities, and overall data accuracy make it much easier to keep teams aligned and make informed decisions.

Cons

Because MapYourShow offers so many options and has such a deep set of capabilities, navigating the platform can feel a little challenging at first. There is definitely a learning curve. However, once you understand how everything is organized, the system becomes much easier to use and the value really starts to show.

It's been good! We have worked with them for a few years now and have had very few issues. Any issues we have had have been fixed quickly.

Pros

I like how the layouts and content can be more customizable on the app than competitors! Their staff is helpful and easy to work with!

Cons

Sometimes there are latency issues and info cannot always be organized how you want it to be! Sometimes there are issues with content.

Overall, we had a great experience with some minor hiccups. The setup process was handled very well. The price point is great and customer support is unmatched.

Pros

The support and communication from Map Your Show is unmatched. Our account manager did everything in their power to make sure we had a great event and all of our questions were answered. Even during the event, they were available when we needed them.

Cons

Some of our custom integrations didn't work as well with MYS. During the event, there were attendees who had trouble logging into their profiles and having the sync we set up work correctly.

What I like most about MYS is that it’s always evolving, it doesn’t feel like a static tool. MYS feels more like a true partner than just a vendor. The team is responsive, supportive, and willing to jump in to help solve problems as they come up. That level of support goes a long way, especially with something as complex as our show. I also value that you listen to your customers. There’s a clear effort to gather feedback and actually use it to shape improvements and new features. It makes you feel like your input matters, and you can see that reflected in how the platform evolves. From a functionality standpoint, it’s a great all-in-one solution. Being able to manage so many different pieces, from mapping to exhibitor info to conference content and so much more, in one place makes things a lot more efficient and streamlined. Overall, it’s the combination of innovation, partnership, and problem-solving that makes MYS such a strong platform to work with.

Cons

What I like least about MYS is that while it’s great to have the flexibility to build things like the directory, conference modules, and ERC from scratch, it can also create additional work. In many cases, it would be easier to have the option to copy over existing setups from the start and then modify as needed. That said, the team has been great whenever we’ve made requests like this and is always willing to help find solutions or workarounds. Looking ahead, one improvement I’d love to see is more built-in structure for venue floor plans. For example, having convention center layouts come pre-outlined with basics like bathrooms, stairs, elevators, escalators, and entry points would be a big help — with the ability to then customize and adjust as needed. It would save time and make the setup process more efficient overall.

Pros

The workability of the maps. I love how easy it is to create and override the prices. \[sensitive content hidden\]'s customer service is excellent. She has stood out to me in her ability to get an answer whether she knows it herself or not.

Cons

Cost. I am getting questioned by my coworkers and board of directors if we can drop this cost and always fighting to keep it.

Overall, we've been very impressed by the full suite of tools available, it allows us to conduct a structured event application, contracting process and useful floorplanning tools that make our event experience for colleagues, visitors and exhibitors much smoother. The MYS team have always been incredibly helpful, timely and supportive with our needs and always have useful suggestions to improve our version of the tool. I've also been involved in some reviewing of features directly with the MYS team, so it's great to see them wanting direct feedback which will ultimately improve their platform to no end. One of the major requests we had has already been implemented, which is really great to see. Some of the events we have using MYS are already looking at expanding their packages to include more features and centralise the event experience into a single location.

Pros

Having a full exhibitor and visitor experience in one place is a huge win for our customers. Accessing the event app that also links to the floorplan, profiles, exhibitor listing, meeting planner etc. helps our visitors to have a great experience at the event. From the commercial side, we love the contracting module. It has a slick appearance, simple controls and can feature a lot of customisation to make contracting very simple.

Cons

I'd love to have access to more backend setup/customisation, but that's just me as a technical user. The MYS team are very good at understanding setup instructions, making suggestions and finding solutions to what I need. Ideally, there'd be a configurable view for setting up the contracting etc. without the need for a MYS colleague to intervene.

Amazing customer service through event setup all the way to onsite sales for future events. Very responsive when I have questions or need custom reporting.

Cons

I wish there was an area to manage outreach for sales to past exhibitors and prospects.

Pros

What I like most about Map Your Show is how much it simplifies the exhibitor sales process. As someone who’s constantly working with brands, sponsors, and returning exhibitors, having a tool that updates booth availability in real time is a game-changer. I can share the floor plan live during calls, walk clients through placement options, and immediately lock in spaces without any back-and-forth or confusion. It makes me look more efficient and keeps deals moving. The interface is clean and intuitive, which means I’m not wasting time digging through menus or explaining basic functions to clients. Everything is exactly where you need it. I also appreciate how smoothly it handles exhibitor profiles, lead capture, and event information, all the essentials are centralized, so nothing gets lost. Their support team has also been great. Whenever I’ve had a question or needed a quick tweak, they’ve been responsive and genuinely helpful. Overall, what I like most is that Map Your Show removes friction. It lets me focus on selling, supporting clients, and creating a better event experience instead of wrestling with software.

My experience with MYS is collaborative and that's what I love about it! It is not merely a software that gets implemented and is rigid, but the MYS team offers collaborative solutions as our events evolve.

Pros

The back-end management and functionality allows the organizer to customize and tailor the experience to the special needs of the show and specific industry. The dynamics of the ERC have been a game-changer for our exhibitor ease and communication.

Cons

I wish that MYS could offer added marketing tools and dynamic collateral for exhibitors. All of the necessary data exists in the platform and I think it'd be a useful tool to integrate to the ERC.

Very positive. Highly recommended. I consider it the industry standard. The customer support truly is amazing - quick, helpful replies every time.

Pros

Intuitive, generally very easy to use, great customer support. Floor plan management in particular had been greatly improved over the last few years.

Cons

Some processes could be simplified (1 step vs 2 or 3). For example, some financial transactions seem rather tedious compared to other processes.

After you get used to it, it's a good program, but I wish some of the floor plan functionality was more user friendly for assigners, floor plan managers, etc.

Pros

The outward facing look of the floor plan; the weekly meetings with our MYS reps; some of the widgets on the dashboard. Once you get used to it, it is pretty easy.

Cons

Having used other platforms, I feel like MYS is incredibly slow/time consuming, especially for a larger show. Having to go to an entirely different floor plan to merge booths or change the floor plan around, not being able to highlight a group of booths to put on hold and have to do it individually, and other cad functions that MYS doesn't have, just adds way more time than necessary to make changes and/or assign a booth. Some of your reports need better information.

Pros

I like that to has two options to search if you are trying to look up an exhibitor. Very easy to use.

The one thing I least like when you are searching for a company. You have to have the exact spelling.

Map Your Show offers an all-in-one solution for trade show organizers and has continued to make massive improvements to their wide-ranging solutions in the 7 years I've worked on shows which use Map Your Show. They are always innovating, receiving client feedback, and customer service oriented. Any time that I have reached out for support, I've received a quick and helpful response. The interactive show floor module, conference, module, and mobile app are all excellent products I would recommend to any show organizers.

Cons

I cannot think of any cons in the time that I have worked with Map Your Show. It is a top-notch service provider for the exhibitions industry.

### "Fabulous floor plan management tool for all tech levels"

MYS has outstanding customer service (Sarah Graham!) and great technical support (Kyle Plymesser)...even the back-ups provided are great. Exhibitors/attendees can easily view floor plans, and internal staff can navigate and process customer inquiries with ease in the Admin Dashboard. With SSO/API customizations developed by our teams, the customer experience is top notch. I've heard that some of my Wish List items are "in development" but still am eagerly awaiting them (Booth Hold management in Builder, access to DWG layers, manually Publish individual changes at the same time in Builder). Overall, great product with knowledgeable, friendly staff to support and listen to customer needs.

Pros

The simple web-based software allows for easy access anywhere on any device. Users of different technical skills can become proficient pretty quickly. Great UX for customers on the IDS, good graphics/layout. MYS programmers are willing to work with customers on customizations for system integration/API needs. Easy flow of data/content to mobile app interface, no lag in content migration.

Cons

Inability to adjust/view decorator layers within the floor plan (add shapes/arrows/directionals). In ExpoCAD, I had full control to access decorator layers in the DWG to hide/unhide utility and facility layers if needed which is not the case in MYS. If exhibitors with specialized utility needs are asking for specialized information, they have to wait until a request is put in to MYS to modify the floor plan and then respond. Putting booths on Hold is cumbersome and cannot be done within the Builder screen, very disjointed to have to go out of Builder and Manage a Booth Hold. Sometimes the lead time for edits to scripts/reports can be very long (2 weeks), but it is just part of the ticket queue process with their DBAs. Sometimes changes/reporting is more critical and the wait-time can be annoying.

With the use of MYS here at SME, it really has streamlined the Exhibit Sales side of things and has been beneficial for attendees in planning their time at an exhibition.

Pros

The software is very user friendly, not only for Show Management, but also for attendees and exhibitors. Should there be any issues/concerns, MYS has exceptional customer service! Also, the customization features are great in designing your own dashboard and custom reports. Attendees can create a My Show Planner to make appointments with exhibitors based on their interests.

Cons

I would like to see an option to be able to download and print all customer contracts, instead of going into each customer record to print.
