Overall, MYOB is great for our business. It is fast and reliable. It has most of the features we require.

Pros

It has most of the features I require and is secure. The application runs fast, especially the desktop application.

Cons

There a few features that are missing that would be helpful. For example, calculating tax on bonus payments correctly rather than having to calculate the tax manually.

Very user friendly, the support articles online are very easy to follow and step-by-step. software includes a lot of features

Cons

Unable to generate consolidated financial statements or perform intercompany transactions. Custom reports are limited compared to larger ERP's but great for small business

My overall experience with MYOB has been easy, i have loved being able to navigate the system with ease, and if i have ever needed help customer service always tried there best.

Pros

I found MYOB business easy to use, i love how simple payroll is, i have been using MYOB for a few years now from MYOB account to MYOB business.

Cons

What i dislike about Myob is how when allocating a payment sometimes does it by itself when generally its the incorrect payment or company.

Definitely a positive experience using MYOB, have now switched to Xero but I miss the ease of use for Pay Bills and aged payables.

Simple easy to use all in in one accounting software, for payroll, accounts payable and receivable, secure web based software.

Cons

Getting a bit expensive over time, sometimes can be a bit hard with integrating other platforms and apps.

Amazing customer support, rich suite of features and makes it super easy for accountants and bookkeepers to do their bit!

Cons

Can be a little tricky to wrap your head around when first getting started, sometimes features are a little hard to understand (like how to put in a TFN if a person is exempt, etc)

It’s overall very helpful for invoice processing and keeping invoices documents attached to cloud. No need to keep it in your computer drive.

Pros

The invoicing in-tray ables you to drag and drop your invoices on queue to process it smoothly. MYOB captures the details and all you need is a double check if it got the correct details which most of the time is correctly, unless your invoice/receipt is blurry.

Cons

I think it’s the payroll. It’s a bit manual with adding correct times in the timesheets.

It’s a product designed for small businesses. Not much options available on MYOB which are available on bigger software such as SAGE, SAP, Oracle etc…

Cheap and somehow good enough for small businesses.

Cons

Not enough reporting options, no way of saving all my invoices quickly. Have to go to each Individual invoice and save them one by one.

The program itself is good, but I wouldn't want to be a new user. It used to be possible to speak with someone easily to get assistance - now it is a nightmare

Pros

The software is good and once learned is reasonably easy to use and is very accurate.

Cons

The customer service. Heaven help you if you need to speak with someone or get any technical help!!! Make sure you can have your phone line available for a couple of hours wait!!
