Pros Clearout makes it easy to find and verify email addresses in one place. The verification is fast and accurate and the results are easy to understand. If you need something with more than 60% accuracy, then you need to pay for more premium tools. Pros I love how affordable it is compared to most email finders. They are the cheapest tool which is ISO27001 and SOC2 Type 2 certified. Cons This is definitely one of the most aesthetically unattractive platforms on the market (Google their screen caps, it's much uglier than what you see here). It also has a lower accuracy rate than more expensive tools, and requires much more filtering. Lastly, it's also important to know that this company is based in India where many of the top companies are based in the US. That is likely why their prices are lower. Just something to consider. The form validation doesn't work." December 13, 2022 1.0 The bulk email tools in the app work fine, but aren't anything special. The validator for forms took a little work to install because they give you several different code options to use. Thankfully, someone from support got on a call to help me. Unfortunately, the form tool doesn't work. Pros I don't like anything about it. The main feature we purchased it for doesn't work. We wanted a way to check emails on HubSpot form submissions. We setup the code and installed, but it doesn't catch any bad emails even obvious typos. Cons See above. If you need a bulk email checker, then this will do the trick but there are other options that are equally as good. For the form submissions, it doesn't do as advertised, so its a waste of money. I've tried to cut corners on pricing before and regretted it, so I was hesitant to try out Clearout. They have way more features like Google Sheets integrations and a very friendly API PLUS the verification is just as good. Cons They are rolling out so many features that they sometimes come out half baked. However, support is pretty quick to resolve things and the problems always get fixed. We don't buy lists and these have all been real relationships over the last couple years so that was surprising. Pros Clearout is really easy to use. It's a bit slow when validating but otherwise it's great. We integrated it into our product for our customers and they love it. We also ran it on our own customer list and it found 15% were no longer active. We even went and manually validated a bunch of contacts and Clearout was correct on all of them. Cons My only regret is that I didn't buy more credits during the AppSumo sale. Pros I'm still testing out Clearout, but I have used many other email verification tools in the past. What I love about Clearout is that has a clean UX/ dashboard and is easy to use. I also love that they integrate with tools like Tex AU (coming soon), Pipedrive and many others, plus their recent addition of Google Sheets add-on is really helpful. This is huge for me. Finally, its a really affordable option. If you are doing email validation at scale, check out Clearout. Cons Overall I think its a solid tool. There integration list os growing, but i'm hoping they will add more CRMs including Copper. Both for cold outreach and reactivating an old email subscriber list. Clearout also has a convenient tool for email lookup which came up with usable results which are comparable to those of Hunter.io or similar services. Pros It lives up to the promise. There was at most a single hard bounce I received from thousands of emails verified and even that was likely due to my sender's reputation. Cons I'm not if it's the best choice if you don't get it at a discounted price like we did. Other than that - nothing. It's a simple tool.
