Pros

It has been useful for taking membership fees.

Cons

Where to start.... the software has continuous bugs, outages and is quite clunky to work with. They say it’s free but it’s not, you pay transaction fees. There’s not enough flexibility within the system for different clubs needs. New features that are released usually break the system meaning they have to be unreleased. I spend more time sorting issues with the software than any other part of my volunteer role at the club. Development of features requested by users is sooooo slow and then anything that is released isn’t properly tested. The lack of reliability and my confidence in the software is a huge problem.

Reasons for choosing ClubSpark

We weren’t given a choice of another option by the LTA but after a dire few months of being plagued with issues we have started to look elsewhere.

Not great - lots of problems, which took ages to sort out or didn't get sorted out. Gave up on it in the end.

Pros

It does some things just fine. We only use it for membership and court bookings because our experience with the membership side was so bad that we don't want to spend time on the other aspects of it. Court bookings seem to work fine, but the membership side has lots of problems.

Cons

Lots of glitches. They seem to be figuring it out as they go along, which is ok but also they are not open to feedback or to make suggested fixes/improvements. It's quite a long list, but for example you can only email in plain text, without any formatting at all - which is a pretty unprofessional way to email members of a club.
