Pros A lot of time saved through automation. Especially with the recurring financial and management reports, which can be generated automatically, reducing manual spreadsheet work. Customer support is outstanding and always helpful when troubleshooting or customizing how information is displayed. Cons I love Reach. It's a very intuitive product with excellent customer support. One feature I'd love to see is the ability to add a small text box or notice on the dashboard. It saves significant time on recurring reporting, produces clear visual dashboards for clients, and lets me focus more on analysis than on manual Excel work. Pros What I dislike about Reach Reporting is that it’s less flexible for complex financial modeling than a full FP&A tool, so for very advanced scenarios I still need Excel, and some of the deeper customization options take time to master. Cons Reach Reporting is solving the manual, repetitive work of building financial reports and dashboards from scratch. By automating data updates and report creation, it saves us hours every month and lets us focus on analysis and client advisory rather than formatting spreadsheets. This is one of the best products for accountants I have used! Pros In addition to the ease of linking Google Sheets, Excel, and QBO, the customer service is phenomenal. I had several custom reports I needed and they were able to help me create exactly what I needed for my financial reviews and budgets. Cons I wish the formatting capabilites when entering text were more similar to that of Word. I find it hard to add bullet points and alighn my text. I can give the business (of an SME size) the insights and reporting that it needs without spending thousands of $s on a larger enterprise solution Pros The flexibility to set up business reporting and meet the business needs rather than being constrained to view stock standard reports that someone else tells me is right. In addition, the back end is intuitive to use for a native spreadsheet user, and takes away a lot of month end excel based reports. Cons A lot of admin to set up custom reports and structures. But the end result is well worth the up front investment.
