I've earned many times on different online opportunities because of their reviews. I can determine whether they are scam or not. Sitejabber for me is phenomenal.

Pros

I am using Sitejabber as a review website to see different online opportunities that will not fool me. For many years I've been using this and they have very accurate in reviews. In the past, I have been scammed many times because I don't know this yet. They have high standards in reviews which is very helpful in finding the legitimate and scam online opportunities. Whenever I search for an online opportunities, I always go to this website and check their reviews. This website is a gold for me.

Cons

There is nothing I don't like about this website because it saved me from different online scams lurking across the internet.

From implementation, to everyday use, we have had excellent experiences with Sitejabber, it's services, results, and employees.

Pros

Our driving factor for switching to Sitejabber after using three other review services for years, was simply that it proved to be an effective all-in-one solution that drove better results that the other three services combined. It was the most expensive of the four, however, since it allowed us to save by rolling everything into one platform, this was an obvious choice.

Cons

The on-site badging could be more useful if it was smaller, and on a transparent background.

Sitejabber's business model appears designed to trap businesses. They create unauthorized listings, accumulate negative reviews, suppress or remove positive ones, provide broken dispute tools, then aggressively pressure you to pay for premium services to improve the rating they manufactured. When provided with irrefutable evidence that a review is false — including delivery proof, payment records, and the reviewer's own contradictory emails — they send a generic response and close the case. We have filed formal complaints with the FTC (Report 197458219), BBB, and California Attorney General. Any business considering Sitejabber should read their 15 BBB complaints first. Other businesses describe identical experiences.

Pros

The concept of a consumer review platform is good in theory. The dashboard interface is clean and easy to navigate initially.

Cons

Where do I begin. We are a 25-year-old business featured in Forbes, BBC, The Guardian and Vogue. Sitejabber created our listing without authorization and refuses to remove it. When a reviewer posted provably false claims, we submitted comprehensive evidence including delivery confirmation, payment records, and the reviewer's own enthusiastic emails. Sitejabber declined our report with a generic template and marked it "Report Declined" with no appeal. Their suggested "Verification Request" tool returns a 404 error — the tool literally does not exist. A customer left us a glowing 5-star review — Sitejabber published it momentarily then removed it permanently. Meanwhile false 1-star reviews stay forever. After declining our evidence, Sitejabber emailed us saying we have a 1.5 rating and offering paid tools to "fix" it. For years their sales reps \[sensitive content hidden\] called and emailed repeatedly pressuring us to buy premium plans. The pattern: host negative reviews, suppress positive ones, break dispute tools, then sell you the solution. Sitejabber is under an FTC Consent Order (January 2025) for misrepresenting reviews. We have filed complaints with the FTC, BBB, and California Attorney General.

We did not choose Sitejabber. Sitejabber created a business listing for our company without our authorization or consent. We claimed the page only to attempt to manage the damage from false reviews appearing on a platform we never asked to be listed on.

Regarding the review in question, the customer not only uploaded a proof of purchase at the time of submission, but also provided additional verification of their experience when our moderation team reached out to them. All businesses are subject to the same moderation standards; paying for our premium tools does not entitle any business to have verified reviews removed simply because it disagrees with them. If you want a reviewing system that is reliable and amazing at preventing fake stuff, go with them.

Pros

Hi like how serious they take reviews. They have standards and verification like requiring actual proof before letting someone post a review. They have a system that really puts pressure on anyone who tries to do fake reviews. I really love that about them, they take fake reviews seriously.

Cons

It just doesn't seem too mainstream or used as much as Yotpo or TrustPilot. They sadly seem to be a rarely used reviewing platform so they aint suggested.

I've been using Sitejabber to gather reviews for my small business for a year now and I'm very happy with it.

Pros

Once it's set up, it runs itself. There's very little work to do after you've installed their features.

Cons

Setup was somewhat difficult for me as I don't have a lot of experience with coding. However, I had help from Sitejabber every step of the way. It was intimidating at first but actually ended up being a very simple process.

Sitejabber is one of the few sites where you can do an honest review of a social media site free of the big tech collusion that tries to suppress public awareness of concrete examples of its censorship on social media sites. Sitejabber is also great for reviewing other sites as well, as for example those of businesses that engage in bad business practices. Sitejabber also allows you to post updates to reviews you've made, which is a very good feature.

I've had no problems using the Sitejabber website.

I like that it is a free option. Though a lot of the free perks changed. The price is what initially made me use sitejabber to collect reviews.

Cons

The biggest issue I have is that SiteJabber isn't a partner with Google so the reviews can't be used in google ads/products.

Without Sitejabber gathering feedback simply would not be possible it's allowed us to get insight into our visitors and encourage them to leave reviews in a simple way.

Pros

Sitejabber is one of the few places on the web that allow more general websites to collect reviews with customers where there may not be a single touch point (product or service) with a customer and offer a more generalised information service. This made it the ideal platform for us to collate review and feedback from our customers where there may not be a traditional transaction.

Cons

The plans have fairly steep pricing scales and while the value potential is there it's a large expense that creates that barrier to using the features to full extent.

Good place to write a review similar to Google Maps.

Pros

This is place similar to Google Maps where you can write reviews about online companies and services. It is a safe place to write your opinion and it is free.

Cons

Not all sites are listed though you may contact them to suggest a site for review. They normally stay away from adult sites yet there are some listed there. They have denied my request to add certain mild adult sites much to my disappointment.

Pros

Excellently made, easy for me to access on both PC and Mobile, helped out a ton in deciding if a site/product was viable or not

Cons

Reporting falsified/bot reviews is quite difficult, there is also the fact that I am not notified when the reported review is removed, which is a bit irritating considering that I don't want to directly check daily to see if it is gone.

Anyone that is considering paying for or using Sitejabber's services—I would heed caution and consider other review platforms. Be careful of unethical business practices, lock-in contracts and blackmail to continue using their services. Probably one of the worst experience I have ever had with a tech company as a small business owner. We spent thousands of dollars to use their services to collect reviews through their platform from mid 2021 to mid 2024. After deciding to discontinue using their services—almost 2-3k of our 5 star reviews were removed from our profile, and we were left with an extremely poor business rating due to their broken rating system. We requested Sitejabber to remove our listing from their site, fix our listing or refund us the money that we spent to use their services. They took no accountability, refused to remove our listing and then said the only solution to fix the issue is to continue paying full price for their services with a 1 year lock in contract? Now we are left with no other option, and unfortunately forced into continue paying for the services.

### "Not maintainable "

I really appreciated the customer support, they were friendly and helpful. I think Sitejabber is a service a company should only pay for if they have no other choice and have a high-volume of new clients monthly that they can pull reviews from. Companies with few new clients every month will find themselves paying for a services without seeing a ROI.

Pros

I like that Sitejabber allows you to bulk upload and send customized requests for reviews. I liked that you could moderate reviews and require that a reviewer provide proof that they've used your service.

Cons

The biggest thing I did not like about Sitejabber is their rating model because your rating goes down not just for poor reviews, but also if you do not gain a review in the previous 30 day period. Also, once you've sent a request to one customer you cannot send them a request again in the future.
