Cons They do not allow you to ask your customers to write reviews on Sitejabber. If they see that the reviewer came from you, they will block it. If you want to unblock positive reviews from your customers, you must pay them for their expensive plan... To allow for full transparency, we don't prevent reviewers from leaving any kind of feedback, positive or negative. June 26, 2023 1.0 Sitejabber scam: I collected over 150 legitimate reviews for 12 years. Sitejabber notices your success & pressures you to subscribe to their (totally unnecessary) "review collection tools" costing $1000's.When you decline the subscription, the Sitejabber scam algo suddenly decides most of your reviews (which have been there for years) are not genuine and are deleted. They don't even notify or inform you.Proof with screenshots of communication with customers is rejected. However if you pay, you can create fake reviews, no problem.Don't waste your time. I wasted years gathering genuine reviews Cons Sitejabber deletes years of genuine reviews when you do not sign up to pay for their subscription services - they will favour companies in your category who are paying to ensure you fall down the list. As a small sole trader operation I couldn't afford to use the big review schemes, the price is out of my range. Sitejabber has allowed me to have positive recommendations added to my website without me having to risk cost at the start up stage Cons It is unfortunate that the other add ons cost what they do when I only need them rarely. Now that we have this wonderful software we have access to customer issues and complaints and are able to individually respond to them accordingly which results in overall happier customers and a better experience for them. I’ve also been able to link my rewards program so that current customers are rewarded for posting reviews. I’m also able to link reviews to social media with a paid subscription. Easy to reply to reviews. Easy to integrate reviews into my website. Free version is fine for my needs. Reviews appear in Google searches. Cons Last I checked, the reviews don't seem to appear in Google shopping or adwords although they do appear in Google search and Google My Business. So far, Sitejabber has not steered me wrong. Pros This site helps me to select which businesses I want to purchase from. It also allows me to write reviews about businesses that I have done business with. Cons Sometimes I Sitejabber doesn't have reviews for sites that I would like to know more about, but that's not their fault. If I cannot find reviews on a site, then I will not purchase from them. We became suspicious about it some time back so we tested it and asked a number of our repeat customers to place reviews that did not show up or count. now the software has lost the review tab on the page. Pros After hunting around for a fremium website review platform Sitejabber offered the best solution on the market. It was very easy to set up and I was able to migrate old reviews after emailing customer support. Cons The review page is a little cluttered with advertisements and other Sitejabber feeds, but otherwise there's not much to fault.
