Well worth the (small amount of) money. They are always making updates based on feedback. As I mentioned above, the very few things that I have experience small difficulty with I have submitted feedback and hopeful that they will update these things. The few amount of "Cons" I had with it is definitely not enough to keep me from this software. You can still manage it just might take a bit more time. Pros The price point for the capabilities is unmatched. We did extensive research before settling on ChMeetings. We do not regret our decision at all. The directory, the event planning, the sign up sheets! (Everything Really!) Cons Volunteer reminders have to be the same setting if within a single event (submitted feedback and hopeful that it will be updated) When creating a form, it was difficult to move some of the fields around as I added. That was a bit difficult but still manageable. Would love to see sub-events become a thing. Having a single Sunday School event but then having a breakdown of events within that event of my individual Sunday School classes to check in and manage but still being able to see the total of combined classes as well. It has been great for organising events and permission forms for youth group, keeping track of our church calendar, notifying people when they are serving in ministires, and storing and quickly accessing contact details when needed. Pros It is a functional database. It is user friendly. Th team at church meetings are very helpful if we encounter an issue and are very receptive of adding new functionalities quickly when requested. The church meeting database has been perfect for our small church. Cons Currently there are a few functionality issues in embedding the church meeting calendar on our website but the Church Meetings team have been very helpful and are prompt at working out solutions. The forms function is especially useful for getting contact info for more volunteers and then placing them in the appropriate ministry category. Cons The main con is the price. Also pricing is reasonable especially starting off with a small number of church members since we launched. Cons If I'm remembering correctly, I don't think you can view the contribution statements before sending the email to make sure everything is correct. The same level of customer care that the CHMeetings provided before we purchased their product is the same level of customer care they have been providing after the purchase. We are extremely pleased. Pros Excellent support after we purchased the CHMeetings software. The staff is readily available, knowledgeable and open to suggestions. Lighthouse made the right choice when we selected CHMeetings. Cons To be honest, I cannot think of any cons. We have made suggestions for additional features however, I do not consider that a "con". As we get more familiar with it, our church is considering the addition of the personalized church app in the future. Pros Chmeetings has the ability to do so much. And if the ability isn't there, it gives the user the tools needed to create a system by which you can make whatever you need to do possible. Never have I seen a church management software with as much diversity and options as this one. Not to mention it makes navigating the software easy while at the same time not patronizing the user as if they were a child in need of a bib, nap, and a coddle. I feel confident in my ability to navigate the software and empowered to manage without the need for someone to hold my hand. And even if I did need further help, the customer service is responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly. I cannot recommend this product enough! Cons I haven't found anything negative yet, but I'm confident if I do, the Chmeetings team will address it right away because they seem ready to accept feedback and listen to their users. I usually try to figure things out for myself but when I need help, someone is always available, and they are wonderful. Pros I like the ease of using Chmeetings. I especially like the great customer service and quick responses when asking for assistance or asking questions. Cons I do not like every day beginning a new batch number, but that is because I only balance once a week. I will try to set the new batch number weekly and see how that goes. I do miss the fact when I close one batch on Monday it immediately goes to the next number in order (142 to 143). I'm a work in progress so I need to get used to the changes. Also data migration could be done by us and was confident of no losing the data Pros Not overly priced. Has Dioceases package for having multiple ministeries and churches. Customization and flexiblility is there. A good church App and easy installation. Cons Sometimes the App has got frozen which I beleive it is a small glitch. Otherwise the software is very good .
