It is very menu driven which I like and the menu options are clear. Pros I think the Worship planning is easy to use. Also, ChMeetings is one of the only CHMS system which has an accounting module. Cons One of the things I think can be improved is the Songs database section in the new Worship Planning tool. Specifically adding a field for CCLI number and an added bonus would be to integrate with CCLI and Praise Charts (praisecharts.com) to import chord charts. Switched from [Planning Center](https://www.capterra.com/p/76708/Planning-Center/) PCO lacks an accounting module. This is needed as our church is smaller and we don’t have an accounting expert. The software is complete and easy to use. We replaced several apps with this one app. The mobile app sets it apart from the competitition. Pros I like how complete the software is. It replaced 5 different software packages. The software is very intuitive to use. When I have questions, the support is quick and accurate in answering my questions. The software enables us to communicate with member via text, email or push notifications using the mobile app. Cons No much. The software is very complete. When there is something I don't like, I have submitted a feature request and within weeks to a couple of months, I have seen my requested features get implemented. All team members who have access to CHMeetings have been able to navigate the system to achieve what they are expected to do. We would highly reccomend this software. Pros Church meeting is easy to use, has been very effective for our needs as a small church. It has been fairly easy for some of our older team members to be able to use the church meetings software fairly easily, as it has a clean and simle layout. Cons We have been really happy with all elements of the software. The team at CHmeetings have been prompt in responding to any queeries or issues we have had. They have taken our feedback on board and have quickly implemented many of the features we have asked for to allow for greater compatibility/meet our church's needs. I love that they are actively receiving feedback and implementing new features all the time. I also really appreciate how easy it is to use. I had to train some of our older members to use it for logging our collections, and they were resistant at first. But they've been doing it for exactly 6 months now and have told me that it's much easier to use than our previous software. They've been able to develop a deeper understanding of how to use it and so they can intuitively troubleshoot their own issues without calling out to me for help! The way it's empowered them to be more computer literate has been amazing. Pros For the price, ChMeetings met all of our church's needs - flexible roster, contribution recording and reporting, financial reconciliations, event management and attendance tracking. We also enjoy using the app to keep the members up-to-date with events and members-only resources. Cons I would like to see more flexibility in reporting. ChMeetings aggregates a lot of data, but I've found that I wasn't quite able to get the exact reports that I needed. I have an analytics background and I would just love a build-your-own report. Pros I have been searching high and low for something like CHMeetings that provides an all encompassing system that allows one to have a proper database for all people, leaders, groups and a huge bonus of an almost fully fleshed accounting system as a bonus. AND it doesn't cost a fortune and you don't need to pay extra for any features that is included in the whole system, it's all just available, it works and customer support is fast & so helpful. The email application works perfectly, our emails have been looking so much better, more professional and it's really easy to navigate. We have rolled out the system to over 200 of our leaders by now and everyone loves it and it's been really user friendly. Cons The only thing that can be improved is perhaps under the Follow ups it is sometimes difficult to see who created a follow up if the Responsible person is removed. And it might be helpful to give the person that created the follow up a notification once the follow up has been completed. The Giving product in Planning Center would not at all have worked in Namibia, I would have zero access to any of their accounting features. With the size of our congregations & the amount of leaders we have, it would have been impossible to afford the system to the extent to everything we have access to in ChMeetings. I have been so surprised as they didn't really come up on my radar when I was first looking and I think they are a hidden gem of a company! Pros There is so much to love! I love that they have an app that we can use within our teams to communicate via notifications. No need for SMS subscriptions as long as everyone has logged into the app. The volunteers and service planning does the job. Also, the app is amazing for quick registrations to events and meetings with options to link it to a form that gathers information and automatically links it to registrants existing profiles on the database! And you can share the link so that even those without the app can register the same way. They also have good security settings in that you can place rules around what people can from the database based on their roles. The learning curve didn't seem very steep to begin with, and I found that I learnt more from just trialing the system with a small group of people to learn what the user experience is and how I can manage it from an admin side of things. We have not used the payments and donations functions as we have our own systems for this so I cannot comment on this part. The BEST part about Chmeetings is the customer service and the team of developers. They have improved features based on my feedback and I am honestly shocked at how responsive they are and how hard they work to improve user experience and functionality. Cons Some of the design features (fonts/graphics) are limited, especially if you want to use it as your primary platform for communications that are more than just text. Also, you can save email templates with a particular signature so you're not copying and pasting every time, but it's not exclusive to the user - anyone can use anyone's template to email someone, and this can be problematic for privacy reasons. However, they are updating the platform so regularly that I wouldn't be surprised if this is something that is no longer a con. We have a church just over 150 and it meets our needs just fine. Pros It has been an easy and effective way for us to keep track of our attendance and our giving. We use it to reach out and message our congregation with our team. Once we set up online giving through them, it keeps each donor's tithe neatly organized. Cons I don't love their email platform. It seems laggy. I don't love that they up-sale me every time I log in. I don't want to be reminded later.
