Are you looking for a 30% drop in open rates and constant spam reports that won’t even allow you to send an email to your list?Birdsend is the perfect ESP for you!Last quarter, my marketing team decided to cut some of our overhead and switch from Mailchimp which was costing us about $1,000/mo to Birdsend at only $149/mo.This was one of the worst mistakes I’ve made as a business person.Of course, our team had the best intentions. After all, Birdsend, although a new player in the scene, had stellar reviews and was a fraction of the cost.It turns out that there’s a reason that more popular ESPs such as Constant Contact, Mailchimp and Active Campaign charge more.The integration with my website and lead capture software (wordpress and thrive leads) took our team several costly weeks to deploy and add their custom code to every single optin form.Not only did the integration take forever, but we were in constant communication with their support team to troubleshoot bugs in their tracking—these were never fully resolved.But what about deliverability?While Birdsend reported sunny stats at first (open rates seemed good at first), within two weeks, our open rates saw a decrease of 30% compared to our time with Mailchimp.At the end, we sunk $1,000+ on the integration alone only to suffer for weeks with little or no sales to show for it.

\-Terrible deliverability-Poor open rates-Does not natively integrate with popular lead capture software (custom coding required)-Bad tracking (does not accurately track sales made)-Spam reports due to shared server

You were with us for 3 months. Your open rates dropped because in the middle of using us, you enabled DMARC on your domain. If you enable DMARC, you must use a custom sending domain (your domain) to send the emails. You can't use our sending domain because of this DMARC. Why? Because if DMARC is present and you still use our sending domain, the email messages will be treated as phishing or spoofing by mailbox providers → meaning there's a high chance your emails go to the spam folder. We've already sent you multiple warnings about this via emails & notifications inside the tool — and asked you to either turn off DMARC or use your own custom sending domain. BirdSend mail servers have dedicated IPs. These IPs are not shared w/ other users using the same hosting company. You requested a refund for all 3 invoices you've paid. Our refund policy is 30 days no-questions-asked from the last invoice, which we've refunded the last one to you. https://share.getcloudapp.com/nOu1oRD0

Pros

The ease of use, excellent customer support and the ability to have most of the features that other more expensive solutions provide.

Cons

Would be nice if there was an ability to add visual automation and more advanced conditional logic.

I hope that they grow huge and make lots of money ... but still keep their personalized customer service. That is what sets them apart from the other players.

Pros

Customer Support is PHENOMENAL. They are quick to respond, patient with my questions and regularly send links and screenshots to help me understand how to use the software. When I transitioned from MailChimp their tech team migrated all of my Opt-In Forms (about 20 of them) flawlessly. There communication was fantastic.

Cons

Some of the text formatting could be improved. For instance. Whenever I paste formatted text into Birdsend and then add a link to any text that is bold or italic - the formatting goes away when the link is set. There doesn't appear to be an option for WYSIWYG text coloring. You have to do HTML - it really slows me down.

Amazing.

Pros

At first, the price. Hard to beat. But once I started using it, it's how easy it is to set campaigns, write emails and sequences and overall admin the account. BUT most of all what I love the most is to be heard. That's priceless. As a relatively new tool, it's growing and competing with giants and yet they take the time to listen to what we need. I already requested a few important features they didn't have and within weeks they made it happen. Their response is always positive and willing to help, open to improving the platform. Hope they keep listening and caring as they grow. I'm really glad I found them and I recommend BirdSend highly!

Cons

I can't say there's anything I dislike. I could just number a few things that could be more flexible, like the actual email layout, maybe having a few more editing options but nothing that I could live without. So far I'm very happy.

Reasons for choosing BirdSend

My options were staying with MailerLite and Mailchimp or switching to BirdSend. I chose BirdSend because I had good communication with Welly before switching, he was very helpful and communicative. And finally the price vs all the value I was getting was a nobrainer.

Awesome. I love how lightweight it feels and how fast I can send emails. Plus I know the customer support team will answer my questions and help me within 24 hours.

Pros

BirdSend is the fastest, simplest and most affordable Email Service Provider I've found. They have an excellent onboarding process which helped me move my contacts, lists, tags, and sequences from my old ESP. Customer service has been excellent too. BirdSend is exactly what I need as a creator, info publisher, email marketer and small biz owner.

Cons

I don't have any complaints. BirdSend is a simple, streamlined ESP that does exactly what I need it to do .

Overall experience has been fantastic. The customer service team are the most responsive I have ever come across. They go above and beyond and have been incredible. The migration process was taken care of which made the whole transition process seamless and easy. The money I am saving makes the switch even more worthwhile.

I have tried Aweber and Getresponse, and this is by far my favorite. My only regret is not coming on board earlier.

Pros

\- Integrates with many softwares. - Reasonable pricing. - VERY RESPONSIVE live chats, that actually knows the answers. - Even the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] is very hands on, and will connect with you. - No frills, you have what you need to do the really basic stuffs. - Reliable, no unpleasant surprises.

Cons

\- Interface needs some time to get used to. - The thank you page URL needs to be hardcoded in the software, while I would prefer it to be on the website so I can use PHP. (probably not an issue for 95% of the other users though)

Very positive and affordable. If you give them admin access to your site and other platforms they will set up integrations for you and help edit your forms as a part of the free migration services.

Pros

This is an easy to use email software that allows you to achieve the same results as other, more expensive competitors.

Cons

You do need to know some technical know how to make everything work they way you want it to. Luckily the support team is very hands on with setting up your forms, sequences and, automations they way you want it.

Overall, it's been a great platform that's so simple to use. Simplicity is something I look for when choosing a piece of software, as I hate spending the time to learn another piece of software.

Pros

I have been in the online marketing space for 10+ years, and have used several email autoresponder tools. Without a doubt, Bird Send has been the simplest to set up. I still have not had to watch a tutorial video, as it's easy to figure out. The other feature I love is the auto-resend emails to people who have not opened an email. Others tools have this, but it's done manually. As an entrepenuer, we have 37 things going on, and often times forget to log back into our email autoresponder tool to re-send the emails. With Bird Send, this is automated.

Cons

The biggest issue I have is they don't have that many direct integrations. You can connect with other tools via Zapier, but that's a pain to set up (and an additional cost). I really wish we could tag people who click on a link, as I like the ability to do that.
