Pros First of all, the tool configuration and installation is too easy, I just copy some lines of codes from the API documentation and everything works. Also, the support team helped me with the process of getting my API ready a lot, they were very helpful and friendly. Cons Unfortunately there a pros and cons for everything on the earth, but for me, I had a great experience with this API that made me grateful for all the features, so I didn't have any cons. The services are good and fulfills our expectations. Pros PDFShift solved our problem of document fidelity easily. It was very easy to integrate PDFshift within our PHP code and use it. PDFShift is doing wonderful job, providing nice feature through its APIs. API documentation is very easy. Before coming to this software we have spent almost 8 days with trial and error with another apis and toold but PDFShift nicely helped us. We implemented PDF conversion within few minutes. We were already able to generate a nice looking webpage (HTML) but we needed a PDF to send it to the customers. So we looked how we can accomplish that. Most packages or services are just not that good.. they don't support css or just very old css tags or they require a desktop environment (instead of a headless server). Pros The simple and intuitive usage. You'll register and get directly an api key. The api is straight forward and good documented. Cons Nothing special. Probably I would say the pricing is too high, - but this depends on the viewport I guess. For a big company its a no-brainer. Works great! Pros I tried 6 or 7 different PDF libraries to convert HTML reports to PDF. PDFShift is truly the best. It started to generate high quality PDF with almost no configuration and tweaking (apart from PDF my URL or other tools). It is also very fast and reliable. Would recommend it to anyone who will need cloud-based PDF converter with excellent functionality. Cons It works perfectly. Would like to have better monitoring to make sure service is running OK. I tested 5 different conversion tools, including very popular ones and all of them either have conversion artefacts, have complex configuration or were much more expensive than pdfshift.
