I don't use it for much else but it's worth it for those things! Pros This doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles (or at least I don't use them if they do!) but it's great for what it is: a simple way to import journal entries or other items into QBO. The price isn't bad for a year, though I don't come close to using all my credits so I wish there was a "starter" plan. Cons The interface isn't that intuitive. I have to choose "Bulk Upload" to upload one entry, or if there's another way, I don't know where! Pros SaasAnt makes accounting easy because it integrates with our Quickbooks. We can do bulk imports of info via SaasAnt and it makes it so streamlined to move info. Cons At this time the only con would be the times that SaasAnt is down and we are unable to process payroll until we can upload the info but normally they have it fixed fast. Attempting to import the transactions without the program was tedious and with numerous errors. Upon using Saasant, the process became much simpler with easy changes if an error occurred. No comparison from before Saasant to after it. Pros The program is able to convert different file extensions. I am currently using for .cvs and .iff. It is able to distinguish the current field name conventions in order to match them, or you can choose a different naming convention (not sure why you would). Upon import, it then displays the transactions for review and/or change prior to posting. In the event of an error, it will advise. You can then correct it and repost. Cons The date format. I wish it could recognize the date format being used and then allow a mass date format change. I'm importing from two different programs using two different date formates, which then requires me to change the date format first in settings, prior to importing the files. It's more of a database design rather than spreadsheet. Through SaaSant that has been reduced to 2 hours by the finance manager. It used to take a team of 3 fulltime bookkeepers. Cons Not really an issue with SaaSant, but quickbooks is a disaster of a software and sometimes there are issues with SaaSant syncing with QB. But they quickly resolve them.
