This was the ideal solution for me Pros I found that uploading material and organising units in each of the modules was such a simple process. I love that I was able to transfer my material so easily from a more expensive platform. Cons I would love to see certificates implemented into this software, however, I have to admit...I am a big fan of the quiz component. If you are looking for a platform, there. are a lot out there. If you are looking for a learning partner, Heights Platform is the one you need. Pros I am not going to compare the features with other platforms. However, I am impressed with the service quality and responsiveness. They also have a plan to let users know what upgrades are they working on. The discussion on the Facebook user group is robust and fellow users are always helpful to one another. If, like me, you're not particularly techy, you'll probably want to leave yourself a bit longer to get to grips with it properly but once you do, you won't regret it. Customer support is also fantastic - quick replies that answer your questions. Pros There is so much going on with Heights Platform - course outline plans, points and badges for users, upselling options. In all honesty, it's a little bit overwhelming and I'm certain I've not discovered everything yet. My favourite feature so far is the assignments (users can upload their work for marking and/or feedback). I've not yet explored the discussion forums but they look great. I also like that you can use HTML in the lesson editor to customise your content even further. Cons It's not quite as user friendly for me as thinkific. The amount of functionality feels a bit overwhelming in these early days (I've been using it for 4 months so far). Ultimately I think this is a good thing in the long term but it's felt like a much bigger learning curve than other course platforms I've used. On this platform you feel like family, I prefer to grow with them and not go with one of the great ones where you are just another number, and they do not worry that everything goes well with your course Pros It is very easy to set up. I really like the customer service, they answer fast. CRO Computer Software Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Very full featured course software" December 11, 2020 5.0 Pros Heights makes it really easy to provide a full course or even suite of courses. I like that they don't take a cut of your sales. The software is very full featured and allows people to buy subscriptions, upsells, etc. I also like that you can create projects for your students to do, publish announcements, etc. Being able to have control over your platform is much better IMO than using something like Udemy where you might get more exposure but your course must be sold at bottom dollar pricing. I'd much rather have my own domain and sell courses at the premium you should be able to command. Cons It's not quite as advanced as some platforms, but they're improved the platform a lot over the past few months and I hope to keep seeing it get better. Review Source SK Samuel K. The learning curve is decent and I wish it could do just a little bit more but overall this is a really good course builder. Pros I love the support and customization that this site offers. The custom code feature is great and I wish that I was able to utilize it more. However, every time I'm a little confused support is responsive within several hours. That's absolutely invaluable. Cons It's new and somewhat limiting. For example, you can't currently create quizzes and the custom landing pages are not really editable aside from colors and pictures so I can't add any UI's that would drive sales better. You also can't add payment portals outside of the software. However, these things may change soon. The rate that updates are coming out for this is incredible. Review Source AG Andrew G. The support team at Heights Platforms is head and shoulders above any others I've used (and that is over 15+ years in the industry!)
