“Editing Limitations: The only notable drawback is the inability to edit a document directly on the platform once it has been uploaded. If you notice a typo or an error after uploading, you cannot correct it within SignWell; you have to fix the original file and re-upload it, which can be a bit tedious if you're in a hurry.“

### "Great value for the price, especially as a solo entrepreneur!"

April 7, 2026

5.0

As a solo social media marketing business owner, I spent a lot of time researching docusign platforms to find one that was both functional and affordable. One of the platforms that was recommended on Reddit, my favorite research hub (lol) was SignWell! I decided to check it out and lo and behold, it did everything I needed. It was super quick and easy to learn and after sending even one single document, I knew that I would be able to utilize the platform without needing to learn a bunch of new tips and tricks. As much as I love the features though, it's absolutely the price that sold me on signing up, because as a solo business owner it's always such a steal when you can find a platform or product that costs less than $20/month. I've since recommended SignWell to several of my friends who own businesses, including my husband, who is also a solo entrepreneur who utilizes contracts in his business. I'm a fan!

Pros

What I really like the MOST about SignWell is honestly the price, I think that they provide such a great value for such a low price, especially as a solo entrepreneur. I also love that the platform is easy to navigate, not bloated by a bunch of extra features, and the steps from contract creation to signing are simple enough to follow that I truly feel anyone could confidently do it.

Cons

I would say the only thing that I found difficult about SignWell initially was trying to figure out how to sign the document myself in addition to my client, but I learned that there are a few ways to do things (like adding your own name and signature to the document ahead of time) that I prefer to do, even if the platform offers alternatives (like signing within the app). Other than that, no issues at all and even when I had a question about an email thing that popped up, customer service was quick and prompt!

### "Smooth, Hassle-Free Experience"

April 28, 2026

5.0

I’ve had a great experience using SignWell and would highly recommend it. The value for money is excellent—especially compared to other platforms, you really get a lot of functionality without overpaying. Their customer support has been responsive and helpful anytime I’ve had questions, which makes a big difference when you’re relying on a tool for important documents. The platform itself is very user-friendly. The features are easy to navigate, even if you’re not particularly tech-savvy, and setting up documents for signing is quick and straightforward. I also appreciate how organized the document management system is. It’s simple to keep track of what’s been sent, signed, or still pending, which saves a lot of time and back-and-forth. Overall, SignWell has made contract signing seamless and efficient for my business. Definitely a 5-star experience.

Pros

Great experience with SignWell. Super easy to use, very affordable, and the document tracking keeps everything organized. Customer support has been quick and helpful, and sending contracts for signature takes just a few clicks. Makes the whole process simple and efficient.

Cons

No real downsides so far—everything has worked smoothly. I’m sure there are more advanced features I haven’t explored yet, but for my needs it’s been great.

### "Poor Search Interface - Hard to Find Contracts"

September 9, 2025

1.0

Customer support was somewhat dismissive of concerns. Some easy programmer fixes would improve this.

Pros

Makes signing documents easy. Setting up templates was easy. That's what worked well. Searching was very difficult.

Cons

Email notices do not contain the signer's name in the subject or the body. The search interface doesn't allow searching on the last name of the signer. So it doesn't scale. If you have many contracts, you can't easily find the person to check if they signed, or to find signed documents once they do.

### "Clean, reliable e-signatures that save time without complexity"

February 4, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with SignWell has been very positive. As a small business owner, I needed a reliable and affordable e-signature solution that didn’t feel overwhelming. SignWell fits perfectly into my workflow for hiring and onboarding.

Pros

SignWell is clean, intuitive, and easy to use. I was able to upload documents, add signature and date fields quickly, and send them out without the recipient needing to create an account.

Cons

In the beginning, I had a little confusion around templates and role/position naming, which caused me to duplicate a form while I was learning the system. Once I understood the structure, it was easy to fix, but clearer guidance upfront around templates would make onboarding even smoother.

### "Repeat Customer - 2 businesses using Signwell"

April 14, 2026

5.0

It's been great for several years. SignWell has continued to add new features and improve their service. It's so easy for my customers to provide e-signatures at a cost that is very affordable.

Pros

First of all, I've been using Signwell for several years in my 1st business. Upon starting a 2nd business, Signwell has been the go to solution for e-signature collection for our internal documents and customer contracts. Signwell is a great value for the features and it is continually improving. It's so simple to create standard templates for reuse. I highly recommend Signwell and am happy to be a subscriber for both businesses!

Cons

User interface looks a little dated cosmetically. But, it is fully usable. So, it's not really a con in my opinion, but worth a mention. Otherwise, there are less out of the box integrations with other systems compared to some other e-signature solutions. However, with Signwell's API you can easily use a platform like Zapier or Make if needed.

### "Signwell is Preferred"

March 25, 2026

5.0

It's my current favorite electronic signature platform. I don't need a lot of extra features and Signwell's basic and light plan has a lot of features on no or a low price.

Pros

I find this simpler and more streamlined than comparable products. I also appreciate that it allows me to see all the past documents and that I had clients sign.

Cons

The page at the end is overall helpful but I wish it did not include everyone's emails. I often submit these documents to court where they become public record and some clients, I'm sure, would rather not have their emails become public record. I could redact, but then it looks like I've modified the final executed document.

### "Simple, Reliable, and Perfect for Client Contracts"

April 9, 2026

5.0

I’ve been using SignWell for my client contracts and it has made my workflow much more efficient. It’s straightforward to set up, easy for clients to navigate, and helps keep everything organized in one place. The signing process feels seamless on both ends, which is really important when working with clients. Overall, it’s a reliable and user-friendly tool that I enjoy using in my business.

Pros

Very easy to use and intuitive for both me and my clients. It makes sending contracts, tracking signatures, and managing documents simple and seamless. I also like how clean the interface is and how fast I can get documents signed without any friction.

Cons

So far, everything has been smooth. It would be great if there were more customization options for branding, but overall it works really well for my needs.

### "A Great, Easy Option for Collecting Document Forms and Signatures"

April 24, 2026

5.0

Overall, I like SignWell very much and find it much easier to use than other document signing options I have tried. The price is very reasonable for the paid version and the free version gives you more than other free versions available.

Pros

SignWell was easy to use. Creating a template and adding form fields and signatures was simple and required only two steps, clicking on the field type and then placing it in the document. The instructions were simple and intuitive. Any questions I had were answered by hovering over a question mark and reading the short explanation that pops up.

Cons

The only thing I would like to change is to have a way to test my template before sending it. I had to trust that the fields looked the way I wanted them to when it was sent to someone else. I was using the free version so I didn't want to waste a free sent document by sending it to myself.

### "Clean interface and simple document routing and signature management"

March 23, 2026

4.0

Great option for low-cost document routing and management. Easy transition from other solutions that I have previously used.

Pros

Nice user interface and experience. Simple to add a document and set up the signature fields. Similar to other document signature interfaces I have utilized.

Cons

### "Great platform and functionality"

April 1, 2026

5.0

Very happy with the product. I think it is well thought out and I will continue to use it as my usage scales.

Pros

It's a very intuitive platform making it very professional and easy to use. It's got all the options I've needed (initials, full signature, dates, text field) and I appreciate being able to easily adjust the signing order of recipients.

Cons

I like having the document history easily available, but it would be helpful to be able to organize them in a way that would be more helpful for me (i.e. the ability to make folders)

### "Excellent, intuitive and easy to use e-signing service."

November 12, 2025

5.0

Other than the sequencing of signatures, which has fortunately not been a critical feature for me to date, it has worked as well as I could have hoped for.

Pros

Very intuitive and easy to use and not overly burdened with complicated features that I would rarely and probably never use. Good value for money, and even free if your usage needs are limited to 3 documents a month.

Cons

Only issue I’ve found so far is that the order for gathering signatures hasn’t worked as I’d expected it to, with documents coming to me for signature first rather than to other party, even after I set the order to be other party first. Suspect this is a known bug and will be resolved in an update shortly.

### "Simple, Fast, and Perfect for Real Estate Contracts"

February 9, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with SignWell has been very positive. It’s reliable, straightforward, and perfect for quickly sending contracts and getting signatures without friction. The platform feels designed for real-world business use, especially for entrepreneurs and real estate professionals who need speed and simplicity. I would definitely recommend it to others looking for an affordable and efficient e-signature solution.

Pros

SignWell is extremely easy to use and makes sending documents for signature fast and professional. The interface is clean, the signing process is smooth for clients, and document tracking is simple. It saves a lot of time compared to printing or using more complicated e-signature platforms. Great value for small businesses and real estate transactions.

Cons

Some advanced features available in larger enterprise e-signature platforms could be expanded, and deeper integrations would be helpful. However, for the price and simplicity, it still delivers excellent overall value.

### "Low cost + Unlimited docs + Easy workflow - Great for Coaches, Small Businesses & Individuals"

December 10, 2025

5.0

Pros

Truly unlimited documents, even on Light. Very low price per sender. Simple UI, fast onboarding. Great for small businesses, coaches, and creators. I had been looking for a dedicated tool that provided me a quick, consistent, and accessible platform to send, sign, and verify my legal documents. After trying several that did not meet my business needs, SignWell provided me with the ability to quickly save my contract templates and sign them quickly and easily.

Cons

If your priority is: low cost + unlimited docs + easy workflow SignWell is objectively the best value, in my opinion. However, if you need heavy PDF editing + enterprise governance, other platforms may be a better fit. → Adobe Sign wins. If you need the broadest integrations and automated workflows → DocuSign wins, but at a cost premium.

### "What are you waiting for?"

November 29, 2025

5.0

Love it! And it keeps getting better. I've spend 20+ building software and running businesses. It's rare that I find a tool that's actually designed the way I want it. This is one of them!

Pros

Very easy to use. Beautiful interface. Just the essentials needed for signing and not a lot of fluff. The interface for building templates was precise. Good value being able to send unlimited docs on free account. The people I sent docs to didn't have any problems signing them.

Cons

That I didn't find it sooner! If I had to pick something (which apparently I do to leave a review here :), then I'd say it would be nice to be able to swap in a different base document more easily and retain all the fields in a template.

### "A Must-Have for Every Small Business Owner"

February 22, 2026

Overall, I have had a very positive experience with SignWell. With very little time and effort, I have been able to move forward with my clients and grow my business.

Pros

As a small business owner, I have used SignWell to sign on new clients for my coaching and speech therapy services. I find it very intuitive and easy to learn. The app has been an asset to my business in helping me grow my clientele. I highly recommend it!

Cons

There were some minor features that were a bit confusing, but it was easy to learn with the help of customer support and tutorials. These included making sure I selected the correct signer for specific areas of the document and also how to make fields mandatory or optional.

It was great! Ruben, the creator of SignWell, got in touch, we had a chat about my needs and they were met; SignWell is very close to us customers and our demands.

Pros

### "Reliable and User-Friendly E-Signature Solution"

June 5, 2025

5.0

Overall, my experience with SignWell has been very positive. It’s a reliable and efficient e-signature platform that simplifies the process of getting documents signed. The setup was straightforward, and I was able to start using it immediately without a steep learning curve. It saved me time and added professionalism to my workflow. While there are a few areas that could be improved, the core functionality is excellent and well worth using, especially for small businesses or professionals who need a fast, no-fuss solution.

Pros

SignWell is incredibly easy to use and intuitive. I appreciated how quickly I could upload documents, add signature fields, and send them out for signing. The interface is clean and user-friendly, even for someone who isn't very tech-savvy. I also liked the ability to track the status of each document in real time, which gave me peace of mind. Overall, it’s a fast and reliable solution for handling e-signatures.

Cons

Some of the more advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which might be limiting for smaller teams or solo professionals looking to scale gradually.

Alternatives considered

The user interface was clean and easy to navigate, and the free tier gave me a chance to test it out without commitment. I also appreciated that SignWell is focused specifically on document signing, without unnecessary add-ons that can clutter the experience. It struck the right balance between functionality, simplicity, and affordability.

### "Easy to use and free"

Pros

I run a housecleaning company and use Signwell for our service agreements, as well as offer letters for my team. It's been seamless. I love their free version, but will probably get the full version because I am maxing out the free signs. I love that I can save things as a template becasue I use the same service agreement tempalte over and over again.

Cons

I would love it if they could colour code the different people signing. Also, having a few more options for the fields. For example, instead of just a text field, have one that specifies first name, one for last name, etc.

### "SignWell - An Excellent Signature Service "

May 2, 2025

5.0

Overall, SignWell is long overdue to the competitive market where there needs to be options with associated costs that make it very affordable. It is wonderful to have SignWell understand that they provide a high caliber service with no skimpping on the capabilities.

Pros

SignWell is an easy to use signature service. The user interface is simple, and the capabilities rival those of the other establish providers that charge an arm and a leg to use their service. I love using this and recommend it to everyone, professionally and personally. Another key factor is they don't send a volume of emails to remind you of their product like the other signature companies do, which is time consuming and annoying.

Cons

There isn't much that is a con with this product. I think it takes experience to get accustomed to the sending of the documents to other signatories and what that looks like. But SignWell provides plenty of User videos that are easy to follow.

### "Great and easy experience!"

May 8, 2025

5.0

SignWell is one of those tools that feels quietly reliable. It’s not flashy, it’s not trying to overwhelm you with bells and whistles, it’s just solid, clean, and focused on doing one job really well: getting documents signed quickly, legally, and professionally.

Pros

tools I already use — Google Drive, Dropbox, Zapier — and that makes everything easier. I don’t have to waste time moving documents around manually. Plus, the pricing feels reasonable and scalable, which gives me peace of mind knowing I can keep using it as my business grows without worrying about hidden costs. It’s legally binding, which matters to me, and the audit trails help me feel confident that everything’s in order. And it’s just so user-friendly. I don’t have time to fight with clunky tools. I need something clean, intuitive, and designed for small businesses like mine.

Cons

The free plan is a bit limited — only three documents per month — so you pretty much have to move onto a paid plan quickly if you want to get serious with it. And while the base plan has a lot, some of the more advanced features, like certain integrations and API access, are locked behind higher-priced tiers, which might not be ideal if you’re looking for deep automation right away.

### "Signwell's docusign system works perfectly for our business"

March 17, 2026

5.0

Our company has frequently used this platform to assist in our day-to-day business operations without any major issues.

Pros

User-friendly system with all of the functionality you need without overcomplicating the process. Allows our team to capture signatures securely for contracts with a built-in reminder system. Clients find the system very easy to use remotely or on mobile devices.

Cons

Users who haven't previously used the system often end up with the initial email in their spam folders which adds a layer of over communication required to ensure a smooth process.

### "Simple and Efficient E-Signature Solution"

March 25, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with SignWell has been very positive. The platform is simple to use, efficient, and makes the entire document signing process smooth and hassle-free. From uploading documents to sending them for signatures, everything feels intuitive and well-designed. It has definitely helped save time and improve productivity.

Pros

I’ve been really impressed with SignWell. The platform is simple, efficient, and does exactly what it promises without unnecessary complexity. Setting up documents, sending them for signatures, and tracking progress is seamless. It has helped me save time and stay organized. Definitely a great tool for individuals and businesses alike.

Cons

The free plan is a bit limited in terms of the number of documents you can send, but it’s understandable given the value the platform provides.

### "Great tool for freelancers or small businesses"

February 26, 2026

5.0

Overall it's been great. Easy to use and lower prices are helpful, especially when it's not necessary to spend $200 per year (like docusign) when I'm sending just a few per year.

Pros

I do freelance creative work and I'd never heard of SignWell until I searched for an alternative to DocuSign. I didn't anticipate needing to send many contracts, but SignWell's free pricing plan for sending 1 contract per month is a great value. I also appreciate how easy it is to send updated contracts, in the case I need to make changes after I've sent the first.

Cons

One quirk that I noticed is that immediately after I send the contract, I receive an email notification that the contract has been viewed by the client, which is not the case. If they can get that glitch resolved, that would be helpful, because it is confusing to see that it's been viewed when it hasn't.

Too expensive for the # of documents I need.

### "First survey of Signwell after trial"

April 20, 2025

5.0

I discovered SignWell when I was looking for an eSign solution to offer my clients. After exploring several similar options in the market—aside from big brands like Adobe Sign and DocuSign—I found SignWell to be the best fit for my needs. I truly appreciate its features, as it’s not only easy for me to use but also intuitive for my clients, making the entire eSign process seamless.

Pros

easy to use while to compare with other couple same kind of software in market.

Cons

I’m currently using the free edition for my trial and haven’t found any major drawbacks with SignWell so far. The only minor issue I’ve noticed is that the font size for the "initial" signature appears slightly larger than I’d prefer. It would be great if the initial font size were adjustable. Additionally, having a template feature for document delivery notifications would be helpful. This would allow me to customize email notifications whenever I send documents to recipients for signing.
