May 28, 2025 5.0 I found SignWell as an alternative option to the larger, far more expensive signing service and decided to give it a try. So far, I’m loving it! Zero complaints and as my needs grow I can upgrade plans as needed. Pros Super simple, yet it does all you need it to do! The ease of use is as good or better than any signing service I’ve ever used, and the price is beat by none! Cons For my personal use and experience there are no cons, however I can see how larger organizations may want additional features. I haven’t explored it yet, but I’m guessing their API options can fix that for most organizations. Pros I really liked how easy it was to use. It was fast to get started, which was huge for me because I needed a contract signed ASAP for a sale. I was having issues with my payment tool, did a quick search, found SignWell right away, and was able to send the agreement out quickly with no hassle. Simple and intuitive interface: The layout is very clean, making it easy to upload documents, place text/signature fields, and send them out. Fast turnaround: Recipients don’t need an account to sign, which saves a lot of back-and-forth. Audit trail & compliance: The built-in tracking and signature certificate give everything a professional, legally binding feel. The price point is fantastic as well. We don't need a ton of features, so the cost is inline with what are needs are, which is ideal. Pros I like how simple it is to navigate. Nothing is complicated - you create a template, you send it, you get it back. There's no fussing with complex or too many features. Cons It would have been nice if there was a SharePoint integration, but its not a deal breaker. I most likely won't be taking that route for saving my signed documents in the long run. Pros Firstly, I like the simplicity of the platform. It provides the basic needs of an electronic signature platform. Also, the ability to use it free as a start to try out the platform is great. Secondly, I like the versatility of editing custom fields for the respective parties on the template. Lastly, the workflow of SignWell from start to finish. I am able to send the document to respective parties through a workflow, (or download the document to be sent manually) with reminders, through a trackable process. Cons I'm unable to edit or update the document once it is in the workflow/process. I.e. I was trying to add an Appendix (as the last page) to the existing document but in order to do that I would have to re-edit the template and resend it to the recipient. The feature to lock in current date is invaluable. Too often in the past I have had to get hardcopy contracts re-signed because incorrect date was used. Ability to change who is signing while editing is helpful and saves on having to delete and recreate request. Pros Ease of use. I was able to complete my first signature request without any assistance and in just a few minutes Cons I was not able to see a request that I cancelled under the "Documents" view. I would like to see all types of requests processed. It beats, printing, sending, signing, scanning etc. It has definitely helped to transform our processes to be more streamlined and professional for our clients. Pros SignWell is so easy to use - I have been pleasantly surprised by how streamlined it has made tenancy contract signing for our business. And when a amendment is requested, it is nice and easy to update and replace the file with a new one. Cons It has been a slight drawback that I have to send the form from the SignWell email, so I will definitely be looking at the higher tier version, so that I can copy a link to the form and send this directly to our landlords and tenants from our own email address. It would also be great if this integrated directly with our CRM (Apex27). Pros The paperwork doesn't always make it home or even get taken out of the backpack, or parents forget to return them. This tool, and being able to send them digitally has made a world of difference in getting the paperwork back and in a timely manner! It is super user friendly and so easy to use! I have already gotten back signatures from parents within the first few weeks of using it. They were able to easily access the documents and sign them without any issues. I like that I can mark exactly what needs to be checked, signed, or dated. I wish I had known about SignWell a while ago! Cons My only con is the price. It is really reasonably priced but as someone who works in a school district, they are often not willing or able to pay for a subscription and that is not something I feel like I should have to pay for out of pocket, but if I did I would most definitely choose SignWell. March 28, 2026 4.0 It was a good exercise and I am pleased with the outcome. Great for a low volume user and I couldn't justify paying for Adobe Pros It is easy to use and good value for money. I have generated 3 documents and got signatures on them without spending anything so far! Placing active boxes in a .pdf is easy and, whilst it doesn't offer all of the formating and options that Adobe offers, it offers all I needed. Cons It would nice to be able to trial the document before sending it out to a client. I felt a little blind as to how the client would interact with it. As it turns out it was quite straight forward.
