Pros Simple and intuitive to use, it helps me serve my customers better every single day with confidence. Cons So far, I honestly haven’t found anything I dislike. The platform has been smooth, reliable, and easy to use, and it does exactly what I need it to do without unnecessary complications. If anything comes up over time I’ll reassess, but at this point I’m very satisfied with the experience. June 15, 2025 5.0 It is easy and intuitive to use, and most of all it is quick. I was able to sign up and spend just around half an hour playing with templates and I was ready to send. You have so little time as a business owner these days, it is so helpful to be able to get things done quicly. Pros It was really simple for me to upload a document and use it as a template. I was printing things for signing for so long, or sending a PDF and always having clients have issues signing. This is super easy to use and I have to chase much much less. Cons The free plan is limited, it would be nice if it was limited to 3 SENT documents or something like that. I spent time playing with documents and templates and so when I came to sending I hit my limit after I sent to just one client. Review Source RM Riley M. It may not be as capable, but I just need it to handle signature capture and it does do that well. Pros I love the simplicity of the platform. It does what it says it does and it doesn’t try to do a bunch of extra things. It isn’t cluttered with features I don’t need. Cons The thing I liked least about signwell was that signers can download the file prior to signing. My client preferred to sign the document in adobe so I was not able to capture their signature. Signwell popped up on my google search, and it was so easy to use. I was able to upload a document and then place the signatures where I needed them and even the date. Once I sent it the document out for signature, the signee was able to open the document and sign it without asking any questions or for any help. It's been a great tool so far. Cons Once I signed the document, and I have sent it, I can't make any changes even if the signee hasn't completed it yet. I would be nice to be able to pull it back if the requested signee hasn't signed it yet. March 19, 2026 5.0 Very easy to set up a business account. After using competing solutions for over 15 years, all expected features are just there in SignWell and needed minimal tweaking to get right. Pros SignWell has a simple and easy to use interface. Learning how to use it was simple. Sending contracts for signature was easy too, and the messaging and communication to the other signers was detailed and easy to follow (even for low tech people). The pricing model is much more accessible for smaller businesses like mine. Highly recommended! Cons I had simple requirements and SignWell answered them easily and with minimal setup. It's easy to understand and can drop as many as you want and as many places on the document as you want. The site was easy to understand & seems to have some really nice additional features. I also like that the email that goes to client, If you don't have a link, has a customizable message & they can see it shows from me in their inbox. Parameters and Box sizes are very easy to edit. Cons Everything is pre set to American settings, such as putting the month before the day. (M/D/Y vs D/M/Y) Not sure if there is a way of making it into UK default? If these glitches were improved I would see myself using this regularly. Pros The interface is very clean, easy to use, and straightforward. There are some really great built in features that make preparing a document quick and simple. I also like the notifications and the email receipts once the document has been signed. Cons I tried to make a template but none of my fields saved. I also pre-filled some information for a client and when I received the signed copy back those pre-filled bits of information were gone. Maybe I did not save it right? I had to bring the pdf into Adobe Reader and fill it back in manually. I’ve used it to finalize lease agreements and property documents, and I’ve never had a tenant call me saying they couldn't figure out how to sign, which is the ultimate metric for an e-signature tool. It’s reliable, and the automated reminders actually do work! Pros I’ve found the "drag-and-drop" fields to be more "snappy" than DocuSign. The fields actually snap to lines accurately, which saves me from that annoying back-and-forth micro-adjusting to make a document look professional. For legal peace of mind, the certificate of completion they provide is top-tier. It logs IP addresses and time stamps clearly, which is essential when you're dealing with multi-party real estate or lease agreements. Cons On the lower-tier plans, you don't get much control over the branding. If you want the emails your clients receive to look like they came from your firm rather than SignWell, you’ll have to pay up for the higher tiers. Review Source SC Shirley C. The interface is clean, documents are easy to upload and send, and the signing process is seamless for both sides. And the Completed Document Audit Report is great to to see all the activity with times and dates! Cons Honestly, not many downsides for my use case. It might fall short if you need more advanced features, complex workflows, or deeper integrations, but for straightforward freelance contracts it works perfectly. Cons None that I can think of right now. I only sued it for one document for now, but will no doubt continue to use and update this as I can/need to. Pros Easy to use! Nice to be able to add multiple people who need to sign that are not in your contact lists. Nice to get notified when people have at least looked at the document to be signed. Cons I'm a small guy and of course would be nice to have a AD Supported Free Version! Maybe good if there was a Initial Check Mark that could go into a Footer that repeats on every page by placing it once with SignWell, but each page bottom footer has to be clicked on by the person signing as a way to confirm they have read and understand and agree to each page!
