Pros

Support responds quickly, even concerning hardware that's not officially supported. There were some complications porting our phone number block from our previous provider, though no fault of Placetel. They escalated the issue to 3rd level support and fixed it within a few hours.

Cons

We made it clear from the start that we needed to migrate multiple sites with more than 100 users and were told that this is no problem. When we did not see any features to manage multiple sites or import users, we asked customer service and were told that they need to manually enable these features to give us access, which they promptly did. A bit of a waste of time that these requirements of ours were not communicated from sales to the technical staff.

Ich nutze Placetel hauptsächlich, um unabhängig von meinem Standort erreichbar zu sein. Ob ich gerade in Deutschland oder im Ausland bin, macht es für meine Kunden keinen Unterschied. Im letzten halben Jahre habe ich meine Assistentin angebunden, um für mich Telefonate anzunehmen (Backoffice). Wir können beide flexibel arbeiten, ohne dass unsere unterschiedlichen Standorte eine Rolle spielen. Genau das hatte ich mir gewünscht: Decentralized Work. Was ich besonders mag: Ich spare mir Roaming-Gebühren oder komplizierte Weiterleitungen, da alles über VOIP läuft. Nach außen hin wirkt es für Kunden und Partner nun mal professioneller, wenn ich mit einer deutschen Festnetznummer erreichbar bin, auch wenn ich gerade in Südafrika, Thailand auf Bali bin.

Pros

Ich habe Placetel vor mittlerweile 7+ Jahren eingerichtet und bin seither zufriedener Kunde. Vor etwa 1,5+ Jahren folgte der Umstieg auf Webex via Placetel. Der war kinderleicht. Seitdem läuft alles ebenso stabil und macht, was es soll, ohne dass ich etwas anpassen oder kontrollieren muss. Die UX gefällt mir und die Conferencing-Funktionen sind großartig. Als Freelancer schätze ich, dass ich über eine feste Nummer (Festnetznummer) erreichbar bin. Egal, ob ich im Homeoffice, unterwegs oder im Ausland arbeite. Ich habe Webex auf all meinen Devices eingerichtet – Laptop, iMac und Smartphone. So bleibe ich überall erreichbar, egal an welchem Gerät ich mich gerade befinde. Die Kosten sind für mich als Freelancer kalkulierbar und fair. Ich weiß genau, was monatlich anfällt. Mir gefällt, dass das Tool ständig weiterentwickelt wird und immer neue Integrationen dazukommen. Ich habe das Gefühl, am Zahn der Zeit zu sein und das Thema "Erreichbarkeit" für mich dauerhaft geklärt zu haben. Das tut einfach gut und ist jeden Euro wert.

Cons

Die Einrichtung war zu Beginn nicht ganz selbsterklärend. Ich habe den Support gebraucht, um die letzten Schritte zu beenden. Dann ging aber alles schnell und unkompliziert. Das Thema "Einrichtung" ist heute aber sicherlich gelöst und stark vereinfacht. Das alte Placetel wirkte auf den ersten Blick etwas überladen, wenn man nur eine einfache Lösung sucht – dafür bekommt man aber eben auch deutlich mehr Möglichkeiten, wenn man sie mal braucht. Was mir noch aufgefallen ist: Manche Funktionen habe ich anfangs gar nicht genutzt (und gebraucht) weil sie für mich als Individuum zu umfangreich waren. Vielleicht gibt es heute einen kompakteren "Quick Start" Guide oder "Placetel Light" für Freelancer und kleine Unternehmen. Den hätte ich mir damals jedenfalls gewünscht.

Ich verwende Placetel mehrmals im Monat. Für mich ist es wichtig, eine Festnetznummer anzubieten, über die wir im Unternehmen erreichbar sind. Und diesen Zweck erfüllt Placetel sehr gut und übersichtlich. Bin ein zufriedener Kunde.

Pros

Für mich ist der große Mehrwert, dass unsere Festnetznummer mobil über die Placetel App an meinem Handy empfangen werden kann und ich somit kein festes Telefon benötige.
