### "What would I do without ASANA?? "

April 28, 2026

5.0

As a teacher/employee, we are given tasks daily, weekly, and monthly. I can’t imagine working in a virtual setting and not using Asana. My experience has been nothing short of amazing and I am continuing to experience that.

Pros

Being a virtual teacher, Asana makes it easy to keep track of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and projects. Asana is my go to for all of my daily tasks. Asana helps me remember when I need to grade, update attendance, parent communication, etc. I am so glad my company uses Asana because without it, my work life would not be as organized as it is.

Cons

I can’t say there is anything I don’t like about Asana. It is a very effective program that is beneficial in all aspects.

### "Lose the Sticky Notes - Asana's Got Your Back"

April 22, 2026

5.0

Asana keeps me organized in an online space, something that is worth its weight in gold because my company is all about efficiency.

Pros

As a progress-based individual, a to-do list is a great way to keep me motivated. I can also be forgetful at times, and the to-do list on Asana is an easy way to remind me on a daily basis without filling my computer with sticky notes that would clutter my workspace. I like that I can receive notifications on a daily basis or easily check the app on my phone to see if I've forgotten about a time-sensitive task at any point in time. More often than not, I check my to-do list for the next day to know how to mentally prepare myself for my workload. My other favorite part of Asana is its collaborative functions. For example, a group project, a task you assign to someone else, or a project assigned by a manager can easily be tracked for completion. It keeps everyone involved up-to-date in an online workspace that can otherwise lack effective communication at times.

Cons

The most pertinent con to me in using Asana is if/when someone forgets to put a due-date on something. You might totally forget about this task because, although there's a button for "no due date" tasks, Asana does not direct you to check these \*just in case\* you need to check them. I suggest an occasional pop-up that says, "You have tasks with no due-date that you haven't looked at in a while!" It can get real complex real quick. Some of the functions I don't use because I don't understand them and I'm afraid I'll do it wrong. For example, I do not create projects for my team to collaborate on. However, if I learned it, I'm sure it would be quite useful. Being on the receiving-end of these projects, it's been pretty good, a 4/5 I'd say. Ultimately, it can still be like learning the quirks of a new computer in the sense that you have to know where to look to find your project and shared tasks that might not automatically pop up on your task calendar.

### "Organizational Structure "

March 5, 2026

3.0

I had mixed feelings. It was a challenge to train our team on it. I prefer products like TEAMS, where the documents are linked into a workflow.

Pros

Relatively intuitive, good organizational structure. I like the task management tool for being able to assign tasks to a co-worker. And being notified when a task is completed.

Cons

I don't like that you have to go outside the product to access a document or spreadsheet. My team had a hard time using the most recent version of something. Not necessarily the product, hard to get everyone to follow the workflows. Once you set up a workflow, you can't change it.

### "Asana: Strong Tool for Task and Project Management"

April 19, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Asana has been positive. It’s easy to use, helps keep tasks organized, and makes it simple to track progress across projects. The features are strong for day-to-day collaboration, and it’s especially useful for keeping teams aligned on deadlines and responsibilities. Customer support has also been helpful when needed, and the value for money is solid given the productivity and organization it brings to a team.

Pros

What I liked most about Asana was its ease of use and intuitive interface, which made it simple to organize projects and manage tasks. The platform offers strong features for task tracking, clear organizational management, and helpful reporting tools that provide visibility into team progress and deadlines.

Cons

What I liked least about Asana was that some advanced features and reporting tools require higher-tier plans. Managing many tasks can also take extra organization, though its ease of use and strong core features still make it a great tool.

### "Asana helps you organize and Stay on Task"

May 21, 2026

4.0

A very useful tool that has helped my team communicate on projects, stay up to date on progress and stay organized.

Pros

With Asana it is easy to set up tasks and collaborate on a project. You can assign work to colleagues with deadlines to keep a project moving along. Asana can be used internally or shared with outside vendors, which is great.

Cons

Only con I have found is duplication of update emails, i.e., You can receive an update on a task, but also receive the same update if someone is assigning a specific task to you.

Features like project timelines, boards, and lists provide flexibility in managing different types of workflows. It also improves team collaboration by keeping all updates, comments, and files in one place.

### "Manage larger projects with many moving parts"

May 25, 2026

5.0

I’ve had a very positive experience with Asana overall. It’s a powerful project management platform that helps keep tasks, deadlines, and team communication organized in one place. I like that it offers multiple project views like lists, boards, timelines, and calendars, which makes it flexible for different types of workflows and teams. It has been especially helpful for managing larger projects with many moving parts.

Pros

Pros: Easy to organize projects, tasks, deadlines, and team responsibilities Multiple project views including list, board, calendar, and timeline Strong collaboration and task-tracking features Helpful automation tools and integrations with many other platforms Scales well from individual use to larger teams and businesses

Cons

Cons: There can be a learning curve because of the number of features available Notifications can sometimes feel overwhelming if not managed carefully Some advanced reporting and automation tools are only available on higher-tier plans The interface can occasionally feel cluttered for new users

### "I'm a fan of Asana!"

May 26, 2026

4.0

Pros

I love the UI of Asana. I think it's really sleek and it works for my brain! I think it has great features and I enjoy messing around on it and exploring different ways of organizing tasks. It really helps me keep track of myself and my team.

Cons

Similar to other tools like Asana that I have used-- I think Asana has too much capability-- they try to be flexible to cater to as many differetn workflows as possible, but instead, they confuse their customer base on how the product is intended to be used. I wish they had a more developed "best practices" offering for their customers.

### "Makes it Easy to Create and Collaborate "

May 3, 2026

5.0

Asana has allowed our team to create, communicate, and collaborate all in one place. We don’t have to have ten tabs open, we can be on one tab in one software and have all our details and duties in one place. It’s great!

Pros

Asana allows me and my team to collaborate on important projects. It helps us keep our daily tasks organized and allows us to subtask out each persons duty in the project.

Cons

I like everything about Asana. I cannot think of a con about the software. It’s super helpful in our long term and short term goals as a team.

### "Top Notch Project Management and More Tool"

February 12, 2026

5.0

Excellent! I became a certified Asana Ambassador because I believe so strongly in this product. I have used it extensively and rolled it out in multiple organizations. We have been able to accomplish some great automation and functionality that even Asana hadn't considered.

Pros

Asana has a short learning curve. It is easy to spin up an organization and get your teams trained. There is an ever-growing list of integrations that help to make Asana relevant.

Cons

The licensing structure is terrible. In order to leverage some of the great features, the entire organization must move up to the next level. There is functionality that would benefit project managers, that task executers don't need. Asana needs to create a role-based subscription model.

Switched from

MS Project is super powerful and does everything that a PMO needs. However, the complexity is really high, especially for a non-PM. I have onboarded Asana for multiple organizations that required non-PMs to run projects.

### "Project Management at Scale"

January 5, 2026

5.0

Asana was my favorite project and task management system to use. The customizability and ease of use make it as simple or detailed as you can image. truly great whether you are a small business or corporation.

Pros

I loved the time management features. For example, Asana makes using a digital Gantt chart super simple, which let me keep large projects like tradeshows on track no matter how little or much lead time we had.

Cons

I experienced frequent issues of overlapping automation functions. sometimes my automations would trigger out if order, which could cause some issues. I am not aware if this was a product error or user error, since it could have been (and most likely was) my mistake

Overall, Asana keeps things organized within our small team. We have separate boards for design, marketing, and the social calendar, so everyone can see what’s going on in one place.

Pros

What I like most about Asana is how it keeps everything organised, makes it easy to work with my team, and gives me that little boost of satisfaction when I check things off. i like being able to tag teammates.

Cons

### "Good tool but has some limits "

September 4, 2025

3.0

A solid tool for task management, but we needed more customisation , so we eventually moved to Coda.

Pros

Easy to use, has some good functionality - Asana’s task assignments and timeline view made team project tracking clear, visual, and easy to follow.

Cons

It felt limited for connected workflows; lacked flexibility compared to more dynamic tools like Coda.

### "They are awesome, except for when they are not"

December 16, 2025

5.0

Overall its been pretty good, but when you find those weird quirks like i mentioned - they are slow to fix and quick to try and give you a workaround. I hate that. Admit the problem and fix it.

Pros

It can do a lot! Great for task management for a medium to large size team. We use it for everything.

Cons

There were a few things that seemed pretty inflexible that other similar softwares do - like assigning a task to more than one user. Seems like its a backend issue in the way they developed that they need to fix.

### "An preferable tool for project management."

October 18, 2025

4.0

It’s very convenient to create tasks that are part of a project as well as tasks that are completely individual. Collaborating on tasks is easy, and being able to set due date ranges helps team members know in advance when things need to be finished. I highly recommend Asana. It’s easy to use and doesn’t require any technical knowledge.

Pros

It is somewhat limiting that a task can only be assigned to a single individual. While others can be added as “collaborators” by tagging their @name in the comments, I noticed this only after realizing that I wanted both people to review a document without creating separate tasks for each of them.

Cons

I really like the color scheme, the intuitive user interface, and the smooth performance. The mobile apps for individual use are excellent, and the platform is very beginner-friendly. That’s why I prefer it. I will definitely recommend this software to my agent. I’ve also already encouraged my friends and family to try Asana, and many of them are very satisfied, providing me with positive feedback. Additionally, the connectivity is seamless and reliable.

### "Asana for a Podcast"

January 13, 2026

4.0

I would recommend Asana to anyone collaborating and needing a separate form of organization for work versus home. anyone who values true organization this might be one for you. my work calendar is very efficient.

Pros

I use Asana for Podcast project scheduling. The Ease of use between sharing information with a colleague of mine is an absolute must have. Its task tracking ability helps me maintain a timeframe that works with my already existing daily schedule. I manage multiple projects at a time with overlap so having those separated helps me finish all the details in time. For features, I leave off weekends as this is just for work purposes. I haven't needed customer support but I bet they are easy to contact if the need presents itself. I like the plan I'm on and don't feel the need to upgrade. I use the free personal plan and its worth it. Bigger organizations could benefit from a starter plan for 10.99 or an advanced plan for 24.99 a month.

Cons

I'm visually impaired and I find some aspects of the layout to be small and when adjusted it doesn't flow well with the information on the page.

### "Useful tool when restraint is shown"

January 7, 2026

3.0

Asana has been useful in our office to keep team members on task and on deadline. Our staff has embraced it and benefitted from having an easily accessible collection point for assets, feedback and conversations.

Pros

Asana provides a useful system of check and balances to track projects from start to finish. Deadlines are easy to set and there is amply fields to include details, updates, conversations and more.

Cons

Tasks, subtasks and subtask subtasks can quickly make a project overly complex. When that happens it is easy to get lost within a project, particularly when you have assignments in multiple, similar projects. Asana will help your be organized, but you need to be organized to use Asana well.

### "Excellent and powerful work management app! 10/10"

October 4, 2025

5.0

Unbelievable solution, we are using it for simple and very complex projects. We have managed to successfully integrate Scrum and Agile methods for visualisations and track everything in real time. The only caveat would be the lack of time tracking for individuals, just for the project itself.

Pros

The complexity of Asana is unmatched. It provided us with excellent visualisation tool and proper project data tracking, task tracking without any additional costs!

Cons

The learning curve might be steep for some, also the lack of individual time tracking - time tracking solely for the project.

### "My go-to tool for projects"

July 30, 2025

5.0

Pros

I like Asana’s user-friendly interface and seamless integration with other tools like Slack and Outlook. One unique feature is how it handles portfolios, projects, tasks, and subtasks. This is achieved through its graphical presentation and multihoming capabilities, which is particularly useful for large teams. If you’re coming from an Excel spreadsheet background, this feature will be a game-changer. We use Asana for various purposes, including work planning, vendor management, and general project management. I took a deep dive into the software about a year ago and recently became an Asana ambassador!

Cons

The only downside I’ve found is that the more advanced features can take some time to fully understand and utilise effectively.

### "Good, basic project management software for non-profits"

April 3, 2026

4.0

Pros

Asana helps with organizing and managing larger projects, tasks, and assignments across team members. It is easy to learn, edit, and navigate. It is also helpful that Asana provides a non-profit discount as it supports us in reducing overhead costs and direct money to our programs and individuals we work with.

Cons

It would be nice to have some peer-to-peer connections with other people who use Asana to figure out more beneficial ways to use Asana, especially with non-profits. A lot of business-based services and software need to be tailored and adapted for non-profit use, which isn't often talked about in Q&As and support documents.
