### "Keeps Our Team Organized Without Making Things Complicated"

July 19, 2026

4.0

Overall, it's been a good experience. Before we started using Asana, it was easy to forget tasks or lose track of who was doing what. Now everything is listed clearly, and everyone can see updates without constantly asking each other. It has made our day-to-day work more organized and helped us finish projects on time.

Pros

I like that everything related to a project stays in one place. Instead of going through emails or asking people for updates, I can just open Asana and see what needs to be done. Assigning tasks, setting due dates, and leaving comments is straightforward. It has made it much easier to keep track of work without feeling lost.

Cons

At first, I found it a little confusing because there are so many features and different ways to organize work. It took some time to figure out what worked best for our team. I also wish a few more useful features were available in the free version.

### "Asana helps reign in task planning and management."

June 9, 2026

5.0

Overall, our experience with Asana has been everything we ever hoped for when we were implementing it. We needed a tool to streamline our daily operations by helping us plan and manage our tasks effectively and Asana has given us just that. More to just planning our tasks, Asana has also made it easy for us to work collaboratively on our operations by giving us a very user-friendly and feature-loaded collaboration workspace.

Pros

Having a central tool for planning our daily tasks, managing our project resources and assigning tasks has helped us improve our productivity all thanks to Asana. Asana makes it easy to manage our operations by giving us very effective work management features which help us to streamline all our tasks. Working together with my teammates on our operations has been easy with the Asana digital collaboration workspace that allows us to engage each other abd share information easily during operations. Asana also helps us to easily track and monitor the flow of our tasks at each stage, allowing us to make sure that we are following our work plans accordingly.

Cons

Working with Asana has been very easy and flawless since day one. It has a simple interface that allowed us to adopt it quickly even without any much training needed.

### "Do Not Buy"

June 30, 2026

1.0

My experience has been awful. I transferred all but four projects off Asana after the last update because I'm so done with this software. I didn't want to transfer my four longest running projects because they are close to complete and it would have been quite tedious. I logged in yesterday morning and all my line item notes have vanished. Customer service is only via email and extremely slow. I'm now losing a week on my projects because there is a holiday and I've had to push all my meetings while I get my notes back.

Pros

Absolutely nothing. It's an animated excel sheet with extremely minimal functionality. Your money is better spent literally anywhere else. I like SmartSheet!

Cons

Everything. It's not user-friendly, any of the linking between notes pages and creating tasks is extraordinarily finicky and must be approached in the proper order of operations. The updates they make to the software just annoy me and do not improve functionality or ease of use.

### "Asana: Great for Company-Wide Task Transparency"

July 28, 2026

4.0

For 2+ years, it was our daily hub for managing projects and team alignment. While support can be slow and pricing grows fast, it's easy to use and gives great value for company-wide transparency.

Pros

It’s phenomenal for cross-departmental communication. I love how easy it is to document task details, share progress with my manager in real-time, and see exactly what’s on my plate every day.

Cons

The messaging and chat lack real-time threads, and notification overload is a real issue. It also lacks native technical sprint features, so engineering bugs require workarounds.

### "Get rid of poor work management with Asana, a comprehensive product for work planning and coordination."

July 15, 2026

5.0

Our design projects are usually intensive and always demand proper planning and efficient team coordination and cooperation and thats why we introduced Asana to provide us with a digital workspace where we get to do all the work planning for our projects and ensure seamless team collaboration and coordination when executing those plans. Asana also helps us to visualize every single step and stage of our design projects lifecycle making it easy to monitor the status and progress of our tasks to ensure they are flowing smoothly according to our plans. With Asana, it has been easy to ensure that we implement proper work management tactics allowing us to effectively meet all our design objectives and get the entire projects completed within the deadlines.

Pros

Asana has been a fantastic digital workspace for our work management practices and it has really helped us to run our design projects smoothly by making it easy to tactically plan for tasks and coordinate teams to ensure optimum collaboration when implementing those plans. Asana has great project visualization dashboards which allows us to visually present every stage of our design projects making it easy to monitor the status of projects in real time and identify areas that need to be improved. Asana offers exceptional team collaboration features which makes it easy for us to coordinate our team members and ensure that they are working smoothly together during the project. It also offers project analytics tools which provides us insightful project reports allowing us to always stay up to speed with our performance in project management. Asana also provides us with task tracking tools which help us to monitor the progress of our design projects and ensure they align with our set timelines.

Cons

From the time we set up Asana, working with it has always been seamless and there has not been any issues to make our work management experience difficult at all. We have found nothing about Asana that falls short of our expectation and there has been no negative comments about it from anyone in our team.

5.0

"My overall experience with Asana has been very positive. It provides a structured and efficient way to manage projects, track tasks, and collaborate with team members. The platform is user-friendly, reliable, and flexible enough to support different workflows. While there is a learning curve for some advanced features, the productivity gains and improved team coordination make it a valuable project management solution."

Pros

"I liked most about Asana is how easy it is to organize projects, assign tasks, and track progress in one place. The interface is intuitive, collaboration is seamless, and the customizable workflows help teams stay aligned and productive without feeling overwhelmed."

### "Flexible and efficient project management tool for team collaboration"

July 28, 2026

Overall, Asana has proven to be a reliable and effective project management tool for keeping teams organized, aligned, and accountable. Its versatile layout options and straightforward task assignment help streamline daily workflows significantly.

Pros

Provides an intuitive and visually clean user interface that simplifies task tracking and project organization. Offers powerful collaboration features, allowing teams to assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor progress efficiently. Flexible views—such as lists, boards, and timelines—adapt easily to different workflow management styles.

### "Reliable Tool For Handling Complex Projects"

June 19, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Asana has been positive, although there was a slight learning curve at the begining we were able to adapt and manage the complexity of large projects.

Pros

What I like least about Asana is the initial learning curve, it can require some time to get used to it , maybe more video guides could help.

Cons

What I like most about Asana is how it handles organization at scale, it's how it helps you model a clear view on multiple teams, timelines and tasks all in one single workspace.

### "Awareness and competence in perfect combo"

January 21, 2026

5.0

Support has been outstanding and social engagement substantial. It is extremely user friendly and has literally changed my life and the effectiveness of the organisation.

Pros

Asana is a company of high social integrity. We tried many project management projects, but only Asana is properly compliant in regards to usability for our vision impaired team members. Where other organisations just ignore you, Asana has gone above and beyond. When there was a small issue with proper labeling of a button, this was treated with priiority and promptly resolved. Furthermore, Asana supports our nonprofit with a generous discount

Cons

I love it throughout! I seriously cannot think of anything negative... except maybe that they charge for AI as an add-on, which feels a bit dated.

### "Asana is great IF you're a smaller enterprise who's looking to go fast!"

January 3, 2026

3.0

For the organisations I have worked within I have always recommended Asana within smaller organisations and enterprises to get projects started faster as onboarding is relatively easy and the customer support is exceptional in the initial stages with both technical and non technical queries but I have felt that it's not quite ready to take on the workload of larger enterprises.

Pros

I think with Asana it has a good user experience and makes it quite easy to use. The features are helpful and powerful for some very certain tasks. Relatively speaking it is quite well priced and the prices are effectively tiered

Cons

I feel with Asana some of there features don't go the extra mile and thus I find that it's an ideal software for a certain type of organisation or a certain size. It will work really well for small and medium organisations but for larger enterprises the product may not be entirely suitable.

### "Project Management at Scale"

January 5, 2026

5.0

Asana was my favorite project and task management system to use. The customizability and ease of use make it as simple or detailed as you can image. truly great whether you are a small business or corporation.

Pros

I loved the time management features. For example, Asana makes using a digital Gantt chart super simple, which let me keep large projects like tradeshows on track no matter how little or much lead time we had.

Cons

I experienced frequent issues of overlapping automation functions. sometimes my automations would trigger out if order, which could cause some issues. I am not aware if this was a product error or user error, since it could have been (and most likely was) my mistake

### "The best objective/task planning service"

April 24, 2026

5.0

Asana is our favourite project planning tool and has helped us to continually achieve certification for ISO 9001:2015.

Pros

We had tested a number of different project management tools, settling on Asana two years ago for our continuous improvement team projects. Asana stood out from the rest by offering task tracking up to objective/strategy level, allowing us to link projects back to business objectives to follow their progress. Asana offers an easy-to-use desktop app, with customisable dashboards to track objectives, progress and approvals. Considering the impact to our business and organisation of tasks, Asana is extremely well priced.

Cons

The Asana tool can be overwhelming once you start linking projects and objectives together, but it is easy to tweak these once created.

September 25, 2025

5.0

Overall, Asana keeps things organized within our small team. We have separate boards for design, marketing, and the social calendar, so everyone can see what’s going on in one place.

Pros

What I like most about Asana is how it keeps everything organised, makes it easy to work with my team, and gives me that little boost of satisfaction when I check things off. i like being able to tag teammates.

Cons

Sometimes it can feel overwhelming at times, with too many features, notifications, and some clutter if things aren’t managed well.

### "They are awesome, except for when they are not"

December 16, 2025

5.0

Overall its been pretty good, but when you find those weird quirks like i mentioned - they are slow to fix and quick to try and give you a workaround. I hate that. Admit the problem and fix it.

Pros

It can do a lot! Great for task management for a medium to large size team. We use it for everything.

Cons

There were a few things that seemed pretty inflexible that other similar softwares do - like assigning a task to more than one user. Seems like its a backend issue in the way they developed that they need to fix.

### "Lose the Sticky Notes - Asana's Got Your Back"

April 22, 2026

5.0

Asana keeps me organized in an online space, something that is worth its weight in gold because my company is all about efficiency.

Pros

As a progress-based individual, a to-do list is a great way to keep me motivated. I can also be forgetful at times, and the to-do list on Asana is an easy way to remind me on a daily basis without filling my computer with sticky notes that would clutter my workspace. I like that I can receive notifications on a daily basis or easily check the app on my phone to see if I've forgotten about a time-sensitive task at any point in time. More often than not, I check my to-do list for the next day to know how to mentally prepare myself for my workload. My other favorite part of Asana is its collaborative functions. For example, a group project, a task you assign to someone else, or a project assigned by a manager can easily be tracked for completion. It keeps everyone involved up-to-date in an online workspace that can otherwise lack effective communication at times.

Cons

The most pertinent con to me in using Asana is if/when someone forgets to put a due-date on something. You might totally forget about this task because, although there's a button for "no due date" tasks, Asana does not direct you to check these \*just in case\* you need to check them. I suggest an occasional pop-up that says, "You have tasks with no due-date that you haven't looked at in a while!" It can get real complex real quick. Some of the functions I don't use because I don't understand them and I'm afraid I'll do it wrong. For example, I do not create projects for my team to collaborate on. However, if I learned it, I'm sure it would be quite useful. Being on the receiving-end of these projects, it's been pretty good, a 4/5 I'd say. Ultimately, it can still be like learning the quirks of a new computer in the sense that you have to know where to look to find your project and shared tasks that might not automatically pop up on your task calendar.

### "Asana: Strong Tool for Task and Project Management"

April 19, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Asana has been positive. It’s easy to use, helps keep tasks organized, and makes it simple to track progress across projects. The features are strong for day-to-day collaboration, and it’s especially useful for keeping teams aligned on deadlines and responsibilities. Customer support has also been helpful when needed, and the value for money is solid given the productivity and organization it brings to a team.

Pros

What I liked most about Asana was its ease of use and intuitive interface, which made it simple to organize projects and manage tasks. The platform offers strong features for task tracking, clear organizational management, and helpful reporting tools that provide visibility into team progress and deadlines.

Cons

What I liked least about Asana was that some advanced features and reporting tools require higher-tier plans. Managing many tasks can also take extra organization, though its ease of use and strong core features still make it a great tool.

### "Effortless Project Management with Powerful Team Collaboration"

April 7, 2026

5.0

In general, my time with Asana has been smooth and useful. It strikes a good balance between being easy to use and being able to handle a lot of tasks, which helps teams stay on track and organized. Some advanced features are only available with premium plans, but its flexibility, clear reporting and collaboration tools make it a great choice for managing projects of any size.

Pros

I liked Asana because it has a clean easy to use interface that makes it easy to keep track of tasks. You can keep track of deadlines and work with others without getting lost in the details thanks to its flexible project views and powerful team management tools. Also, the dashboards and reports make it easy to see how things are going at a glance.

Cons

The biggest problem with Asana is that you have to pay more for higher-tier plans to get to the more advanced features. This can be expensive for big teams. Reporting and automation can be helpful, but they can also feel limited compared to more specialized tools. Managing very complex projects with a lot of dependencies can also be hard at times.

### "Useful tool when restraint is shown"

January 7, 2026

3.0

Asana has been useful in our office to keep team members on task and on deadline. Our staff has embraced it and benefitted from having an easily accessible collection point for assets, feedback and conversations.

Pros

Asana provides a useful system of check and balances to track projects from start to finish. Deadlines are easy to set and there is amply fields to include details, updates, conversations and more.

Cons

Tasks, subtasks and subtask subtasks can quickly make a project overly complex. When that happens it is easy to get lost within a project, particularly when you have assignments in multiple, similar projects. Asana will help your be organized, but you need to be organized to use Asana well.

### "Good tool for creating clear team overviews, but lacks incentives to really drive performance"

December 18, 2025

4.0

It helps structure our performance data and makes it accessible to everyone, which improves transparency and creates a shared understanding of goals. However, to really change behavior and drive outcomes, we still need to rely on external processes, manual follow‑ups, or other tools, because this product focuses mainly on insight rather than activation.

Pros

The tool makes it easy to create a clear overview for everyone, so the whole team can see where things stand at a glance. Dashboards and visualizations are intuitive, which helps to align people and start the right conversations about progress and priorities.

Cons

While the tool provides insight, it hardly supports triggering and activating people to actually hit their targets. There are no real incentive, gamification, or nudging features, so there is little in the platform itself that motivates users to take action beyond just looking at the numbers.

### "Powerful Tool for Managing Marketing Projects and Team Collaboration"

July 17, 2026

4.0

It has helped streamline marketing operations by bringing campaign planning, team communication, and task tracking into one platform. It reduces confusion, improves accountability, and makes it easier to monitor project progress. While it takes some customization to fit specific marketing workflows, it is a valuable tool for improving organization and team efficiency.

Pros

I found Asana very useful for planning campaigns, managing content calendars, and keeping marketing teams aligned. The ability to assign tasks, set deadlines, track campaign progress, and organize workflows helps improve productivity. Features like project timelines and task dependencies make it easier to manage multiple marketing initiatives at the same time.

Cons

The initial setup requires some time, especially when creating workflows for larger marketing teams. Some advanced reporting and automation features are only available on higher-tier plans, which can be limiting for smaller teams with budget constraints.

### "Simple, Affordable, and Great for Small Teams"

February 26, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Asana has been excellent and very positive. It’s a reliable, user-friendly project management tool that works especially well for small teams and growing businesses.

Pros

What I like most about Asana is how easy it is to understand and start using right away. The interface is intuitive, and there’s very little learning curve, which makes onboarding team members quick and seamless. It’s also very affordable for small businesses, making it a practical choice without sacrificing functionality.

Cons

### "Smart Collaboration Platform That Helps Engineers Stay Focused"

July 28, 2026

5.0

It helps bridge the gap between engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders by providing better visibility into project progress. I use it to organize sprint related activities, track feature requests, and manage priorities effectively. While it is not a replacement for dedicated coding tools, it works well as a collaboration and project management platform that improves transparency and team productivity.

Pros

I find Asana valuable for managing development tasks, tracking project milestones, and improving collaboration with cross functional teams. It provides a clear view of assigned work, deadlines, priorities, and dependencies, making it easier to stay focused on important deliverables. Integration with development workflows and the ability to organize tasks by projects are especially helpful.

Cons

Asana may lack some advanced developer focused features compared to specialized tools like issue trackers. Managing very large projects with hundreds of tasks can sometimes become difficult without proper structure, and some automation capabilities require premium plans.

### "improved organization and communication "

November 13, 2025

5.0

Overall, Asana has significantly improved organization and communication within our team. It helps everyone stay accountable and aware of priorities, deadlines, and dependencies. The interface is user-friendly, and features like automated workflows and visual timelines make managing complex projects much simpler. While it’s not perfect — particularly in pricing and multi-assignee flexibility — it’s a powerful, reliable platform that keeps our work structured and transparent.

Pros

Asana excels in flexibility — you can view projects as lists, boards, timelines, or calendars depending on your preference. It’s easy to assign tasks, set priorities, and visualize progress. The automations and integrations reduce manual effort, and the overall interface makes collaboration smooth and efficient. It’s especially strong for teams juggling multiple projects or working remotely.

Cons

Tasks can only be assigned to one user, which can be limiting for collaborative work. The pricing tiers can also get expensive as your team grows, and some advanced features (like time tracking or more detailed reporting) require third-party integrations. Occasionally, new users find the many features a bit overwhelming at first.
