I've tried several other project management software but we ended up sticking to Asana because of its simplicity. Pros Asana is great for ease of use and keeping my life in order! We run our entire marketing agency out here and it helps me keep track of my team easily. Cons I'd like to be able to customize the looks and function of it a bit more but overall does what I need. Additionally, I can monitor the progress of the project or task. Pros I have found Asana very useful for my work area since it allows me to create projects together with my team. Additionally, Asana has allowed me to assign a name to the project, break down the tasks, assign responsibilities to each team member, and set a deadline for each task. Cons What I haven't liked about this tool is that it can be complex to use when you're a new member, but it's just a matter of time to learn. Cross platform itegrations is what stands out to me as challenge with Asana while I used it. Pros Its a good product, not too bad. I started my carrer at my current company off of this tool and it was mangeable compared to what we use right now. I was hesitant at first but once i got some hands on, i saw how seamless communication can be through the tool. Not to forget how it even integrates with other software and tools to make it super attractive. Pros The ease of use and the collaboration functionality. Its cool how multiple projects can be handled simultaneously and how teams can be accountable on tasks without having to mark their status or e-mail separately. Cons The part where huge projects can get a little difficult to manage particularly when privacy is used. Pros I love the customizability of tasklists and unique filter views. For example, i can create my own custom views for very specific criteria around tasks i'd like to see. "What tasks are being held up but are due end of week?". Also, the calendar views are a game changer. Cons The time tracking integrations are really buggy and don't always work. I think a major limitation is it's native integrations with other applications and Zapier. Specifically triggering automations based on certain events and your ability to update task lists accordingly. I think adding more automation workflows would be helpful.
