Cons It can be very expensive when your entire company starts to use it. Pros I mainly use Asana in my work as a freelancer with an agency to manage, brief (and be briefed on) upcoming tasks & record the status quo. Asana is designed very simply for this purpose: There are core tasks including subtasks that build on each other, all necessary files can be attached and, thanks to custom fields, project statuses, for example, can also be quickly viewed and adjusted. The taskboard offers a good overview & is easily managable. Cons In my opinion, the timelines are a bit messy and it's a bit hard to keep an overview on those. It provided oversight on different moving pieces with ease of assignment and task tracking. Pros I used this for a while at a previous employer. Another coworker recommended it as we working in the project management arena. It was extremely helpful for oversight of mutiple projects. Cons As with any product, there is a learning curve. Pros It was very user-friendly and pretty configurable, I often used it for personal organization before I started using it for my work. It's visually appealing and easy to customize. Cons Wish selecting a due date for each task was easier than pulling up a calendar for each task and I'd love to select one due date and then have others fill in automatically based on a number of days between each task due date. Pros Despite trying a few different project management programs, we ultimately decided to continue with Asana due to its ease of use. For simplicity of use and organising my life, Asana is fantastic! Here, we manage our whole marketing firm, and it makes it simple for me to manage my staff. Cons My biggest complaint about the app is that it doesn't have a calendar view, which is why I don't use it much in my managerial role. At first, the cost was the reason.
