### "Organizational Structure "

March 5, 2026

3.0

I had mixed feelings. It was a challenge to train our team on it. I prefer products like TEAMS, where the documents are linked into a workflow.

Pros

Relatively intuitive, good organizational structure. I like the task management tool for being able to assign tasks to a co-worker. And being notified when a task is completed.

Cons

I don't like that you have to go outside the product to access a document or spreadsheet. My team had a hard time using the most recent version of something. Not necessarily the product, hard to get everyone to follow the workflows. Once you set up a workflow, you can't change it.

### "Great Once You're Onboarded fully"

March 24, 2026

4.0

Pros

Asana is easy to use once you are integrated into it's systems. It easily connects with other services like Salesforce and Asana. It helps keep tasks and projects well organized and tracked, especially for large teams. The dashboarding features are great for reporting.

Cons

The on ramping to Asana is pretty steep. It has a lot of very specific functions, terminology, and infrastructural / design set-up that takes a while to get acclimated to as a new user. When Asana does have bugs or technical issues, the support team can take a while to get through to.

### "Lose the Sticky Notes - Asana's Got Your Back"

April 22, 2026

5.0

Asana keeps me organized in an online space, something that is worth its weight in gold because my company is all about efficiency.

Pros

As a progress-based individual, a to-do list is a great way to keep me motivated. I can also be forgetful at times, and the to-do list on Asana is an easy way to remind me on a daily basis without filling my computer with sticky notes that would clutter my workspace. I like that I can receive notifications on a daily basis or easily check the app on my phone to see if I've forgotten about a time-sensitive task at any point in time. More often than not, I check my to-do list for the next day to know how to mentally prepare myself for my workload. My other favorite part of Asana is its collaborative functions. For example, a group project, a task you assign to someone else, or a project assigned by a manager can easily be tracked for completion. It keeps everyone involved up-to-date in an online workspace that can otherwise lack effective communication at times.

Cons

The most pertinent con to me in using Asana is if/when someone forgets to put a due-date on something. You might totally forget about this task because, although there's a button for "no due date" tasks, Asana does not direct you to check these \*just in case\* you need to check them. I suggest an occasional pop-up that says, "You have tasks with no due-date that you haven't looked at in a while!" It can get real complex real quick. Some of the functions I don't use because I don't understand them and I'm afraid I'll do it wrong. For example, I do not create projects for my team to collaborate on. However, if I learned it, I'm sure it would be quite useful. Being on the receiving-end of these projects, it's been pretty good, a 4/5 I'd say. Ultimately, it can still be like learning the quirks of a new computer in the sense that you have to know where to look to find your project and shared tasks that might not automatically pop up on your task calendar.

### "What would I do without ASANA?? "

April 28, 2026

5.0

As a teacher/employee, we are given tasks daily, weekly, and monthly. I can’t imagine working in a virtual setting and not using Asana. My experience has been nothing short of amazing and I am continuing to experience that.

Pros

Being a virtual teacher, Asana makes it easy to keep track of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and projects. Asana is my go to for all of my daily tasks. Asana helps me remember when I need to grade, update attendance, parent communication, etc. I am so glad my company uses Asana because without it, my work life would not be as organized as it is.

Cons

I can’t say there is anything I don’t like about Asana. It is a very effective program that is beneficial in all aspects.

### "Top Notch Project Management and More Tool"

February 12, 2026

5.0

Excellent! I became a certified Asana Ambassador because I believe so strongly in this product. I have used it extensively and rolled it out in multiple organizations. We have been able to accomplish some great automation and functionality that even Asana hadn't considered.

Pros

Asana has a short learning curve. It is easy to spin up an organization and get your teams trained. There is an ever-growing list of integrations that help to make Asana relevant.

Cons

The licensing structure is terrible. In order to leverage some of the great features, the entire organization must move up to the next level. There is functionality that would benefit project managers, that task executers don't need. Asana needs to create a role-based subscription model.

Switched from

MS Project is super powerful and does everything that a PMO needs. However, the complexity is really high, especially for a non-PM. I have onboarded Asana for multiple organizations that required non-PMs to run projects.

### "Asana: Strong Tool for Task and Project Management"

April 19, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Asana has been positive. It’s easy to use, helps keep tasks organized, and makes it simple to track progress across projects. The features are strong for day-to-day collaboration, and it’s especially useful for keeping teams aligned on deadlines and responsibilities. Customer support has also been helpful when needed, and the value for money is solid given the productivity and organization it brings to a team.

Pros

What I liked most about Asana was its ease of use and intuitive interface, which made it simple to organize projects and manage tasks. The platform offers strong features for task tracking, clear organizational management, and helpful reporting tools that provide visibility into team progress and deadlines.

Cons

What I liked least about Asana was that some advanced features and reporting tools require higher-tier plans. Managing many tasks can also take extra organization, though its ease of use and strong core features still make it a great tool.

### "A Reliable Tool for Managing Part-Time Staff"

March 24, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Asana has been very positive. It helped me bring structure and clarity to managing my beauty coworking space, especially with part-time staff. Once everything was set up, it became a reliable system for keeping tasks organized and the team aligned.

Pros

I’ve been using Asana to manage my beauty coworking space, and it’s been very practical. It’s especially convenient when working with part-time staff - I can assign tasks, track progress, and keep everything organized without constant communication. This really reduces chaos in day-to-day operations. What I like most is the clarity: everyone knows what to do and when. It helps maintain structure even when the team isn’t always on-site. Overall, a simple and effective tool for managing small teams and flexible work schedules.

Cons

It has a bit of a learning curve, and onboarding part-time staff requires extra explanation at the beginning. Since I work with part-time employees, I had to create written guidelines to help them understand how to use the system.

### "Asana for a Podcast"

January 13, 2026

4.0

I would recommend Asana to anyone collaborating and needing a separate form of organization for work versus home. anyone who values true organization this might be one for you. my work calendar is very efficient.

Pros

I use Asana for Podcast project scheduling. The Ease of use between sharing information with a colleague of mine is an absolute must have. Its task tracking ability helps me maintain a timeframe that works with my already existing daily schedule. I manage multiple projects at a time with overlap so having those separated helps me finish all the details in time. For features, I leave off weekends as this is just for work purposes. I haven't needed customer support but I bet they are easy to contact if the need presents itself. I like the plan I'm on and don't feel the need to upgrade. I use the free personal plan and its worth it. Bigger organizations could benefit from a starter plan for 10.99 or an advanced plan for 24.99 a month.

Cons

I'm visually impaired and I find some aspects of the layout to be small and when adjusted it doesn't flow well with the information on the page.

### "Asana is great IF you're a smaller enterprise who's looking to go fast!"

January 3, 2026

3.0

For the organisations I have worked within I have always recommended Asana within smaller organisations and enterprises to get projects started faster as onboarding is relatively easy and the customer support is exceptional in the initial stages with both technical and non technical queries but I have felt that it's not quite ready to take on the workload of larger enterprises.

Pros

I think with Asana it has a good user experience and makes it quite easy to use. The features are helpful and powerful for some very certain tasks. Relatively speaking it is quite well priced and the prices are effectively tiered

Cons

I feel with Asana some of there features don't go the extra mile and thus I find that it's an ideal software for a certain type of organisation or a certain size. It will work really well for small and medium organisations but for larger enterprises the product may not be entirely suitable.

### "Ideal for large teams"

November 19, 2025

4.0

As a user, I have personally never had any issues with Asana. I tried using it for my small business but found it too costly to implement what I wanted it to do. For larger teams or businesses it's great.

Pros

I have used Asana for many years now in various companies. The times when it works best is when the company has invested in the setup and customising it. Some of the features I like are that you can customise the fields, easily duplicate projects, track tasks (with integrated time management tools if needed) and stay very organised across a team.

Cons

I think it can be quite expensive for a large team when you really want to customise it to make the most of the features. It might be ok for a larger business but for a smaller business not so much.

### "Complete Task Manager"

I have enjoyed it and look foward to seeing where AI takes it. It is compatable with Windows or Apple and would recommend.

Pros

It allows me to keep up with daily task as well as Assigned projects. It is very easy to use. I can organize calandar and emails because I can integrate the tasks from either. It makes reporting easy, I can look and see where I am at compared to others in my group.

Cons

I honestly cant think of anything that I dislike about Asana at this time. I have used it at two different companies over the years and Asana has grown with technology

### "Useful tool when restraint is shown"

January 7, 2026

3.0

Asana has been useful in our office to keep team members on task and on deadline. Our staff has embraced it and benefitted from having an easily accessible collection point for assets, feedback and conversations.

Pros

Asana provides a useful system of check and balances to track projects from start to finish. Deadlines are easy to set and there is amply fields to include details, updates, conversations and more.

Cons

Tasks, subtasks and subtask subtasks can quickly make a project overly complex. When that happens it is easy to get lost within a project, particularly when you have assignments in multiple, similar projects. Asana will help your be organized, but you need to be organized to use Asana well.

### "Solid work MGMT solution"

May 2, 2026

3.0

Overall, I’ve had a positive experience with Asana. It’s one of the better tools for project and task management, especially for teams trying to stay aligned on work. When used consistently, it helps reduce confusion and improves visibility across projects. However, it works best when the whole team is committed to using it properly and keeping things organized.

Pros

Asana makes it very easy to keep track of tasks and projects in one place. I like how flexible it is—you can switch between list, board, and timeline views depending on how you like to work. It’s especially helpful for collaborating with a team because everything is transparent and easy to assign, comment on, and track. The integrations with other tools also make it fit smoothly into a broader workflow.

Cons

It can start to feel a bit overwhelming when projects get large or when too many features are used at once. There’s a learning curve for new users, and not everyone uses it consistently, which can reduce its effectiveness. Some of the more advanced features are also locked behind higher-tier plans, which can be limiting.

### "Good tool for creating clear team overviews, but lacks incentives to really drive performance"

December 18, 2025

4.0

It helps structure our performance data and makes it accessible to everyone, which improves transparency and creates a shared understanding of goals. However, to really change behavior and drive outcomes, we still need to rely on external processes, manual follow‑ups, or other tools, because this product focuses mainly on insight rather than activation.

Pros

The tool makes it easy to create a clear overview for everyone, so the whole team can see where things stand at a glance. Dashboards and visualizations are intuitive, which helps to align people and start the right conversations about progress and priorities.

Cons

While the tool provides insight, it hardly supports triggering and activating people to actually hit their targets. There are no real incentive, gamification, or nudging features, so there is little in the platform itself that motivates users to take action beyond just looking at the numbers.

### "Powerful task management, but pricing is steep"

April 18, 2026

4.0

Asana is a solid project management tool with standout features, particularly for teams working on interconnected projects. However, the cost might be prohibitive for smaller teams or those with tight budgets.

Pros

Asana's task dependency feature is genuinely excellent. It lets us visualize complex project workflows and understand exactly how one task impacts another. This alone has improved our project planning and helped us catch potential bottlenecks early.

Cons

The pricing is significantly higher than competitors like Monday.com for comparable functionality. Additionally, the lack of native email integration is frustrating, we'd love to send tasks or updates directly from Asana without leaving the platform.

Switched from

[monday CRM](https://www.capterra.com/p/245800/Monday-CRM/)

Ultimately, we moved to Monday.com because of the cost difference and Monday's built-in CRM capabilities. For teams juggling both project management and client/deal tracking, Monday offered better value and integrated functionality without the premium price tag.

### "Intuitive and efficient project management platform"

December 21, 2025

5.0

Overall, my experience with Asana has been excellent. The platform is reliable and scalable, and it significantly improves our team's collaboration and transparency. It has become an essential tool for managing projects and tasks in our organization.

Pros

Asana provides an intuitive interface for tracking projects and tasks. Its boards, lists, and timelines make it easy to organize work and collaborate across teams. The tool integrates with many other services and has powerful automation features that help streamline our processes. For an IT manager overseeing offshore hiring projects, Asana keeps everyone aligned and productive.

Cons

The main drawback is that Asana can feel overwhelming for new users due to the number of features and options. Some advanced functionalities require paid tiers, and managing very large projects can get complicated. However, once team members are onboarded, these issues diminish.

### "Project Management at Scale"

January 5, 2026

5.0

Asana was my favorite project and task management system to use. The customizability and ease of use make it as simple or detailed as you can image. truly great whether you are a small business or corporation.

Pros

I loved the time management features. For example, Asana makes using a digital Gantt chart super simple, which let me keep large projects like tradeshows on track no matter how little or much lead time we had.

Cons

I experienced frequent issues of overlapping automation functions. sometimes my automations would trigger out if order, which could cause some issues. I am not aware if this was a product error or user error, since it could have been (and most likely was) my mistake

October 17, 2025

Unbelievable solution, we are using it for simple and very complex projects. We have managed to successfully integrate Scrum and Agile methods for visualisations and track everything in real time. The only caveat would be the lack of time tracking for individuals, just for the project itself.
