Pros

It is a favorite for small teams. It is well known and very versatile, which is one o fthe reasons I like it.

Cons

Sometimes it is a bit too generic. There are certain things that work better in other solutions, however in general Asana is pretty good.

### "Project Management Made Easy"

September 13, 2024

5.0

Overall, I'm extremely pleased the use of Asana and would definitely recommend it for others to try. The system has continued to get new enhancements and is still not losing sight of the simplicity of project management that it targets.

Pros

The ease of building out a project plan, aligning dates, assigning team members, and separating projects into portfolios makes this product an easy win. The interface is very intuitive and the ability to then build reports based on portfolios, projects, or tasks allows nice dashboards for quick looks at the overall status.

Cons

At this time, I've not found a drawback to my use of Asana. The platform has been performing very well, features are abundant, and intuitive to use.

### "Asana Stands Out as an Effective Project Management Tool "

September 17, 2024

5.0

My overall experience with Asana has been "par excellence", as the French would put it. What I like most about Asana as a project management tool is its versatility in creating tasks and projects, setting deadlines, and organizing work with subtasks. Additionally, I’m impressed by its mobile app, which allows me to monitor and manage tasks right at my fingertips. As someone who is constantly on the go, this feature is invaluable, providing real-time updates and enabling me to stay on top of my projects no matter where I am.

Pros

Creating tasks and projects, setting deadlines, and adding subtasks.

Cons

There is not enough integrations with other software.

### "great software to get your team on the same page"

October 7, 2024

It's been a slow process to have the team adopt, but we're getting better at it. We have a small team and when they all use asana then everything flows more smoothly.

Pros

The ability to account for all tasks related to any project we are working on within our team across multiple departments and locations.

Cons

I'd like templates to be in a more accessible/intuitive location.

My overall experience with Asana has been positive. It’s a well-structured tool that simplifies project management and enhances team collaboration, though its extensive features can be overwhelming.

Pros

Asana’s intuitive interface and task management features are excellent. It organizes projects well, enhances collaboration, and offers useful integrations for streamlined workflow.

Cons

Asana can be overwhelming for new users due to its many features. The premium plans are costly, and some features feel limited without upgrading.

### "Asana Project management."

February 17, 2025

4.0

Asana is a great tool for managing projects and working in teams.

Pros

It's great for planning and collaborating on projects. The messaging and process of adding tasks is great and it makes it easy to know when you have a new task to work on.

Cons

I think it could maybe be a bit simpler with less tasks and subtask options. It can get a bit complicated when clients add m adding multiple tasks and having to move them around and adding them to a quality control section.

I’ve had an overall positive experience with Asana, thanks to its intuitive user interface and robust functionality that make task and project management seamless. The platform excels in fostering collaboration with features like real-time updates, task assignments, and integrated communication tools. Its ability to streamline workflows and provide visibility across projects has been invaluable for staying organized and productive.

Pros

I like that Asana is a versatile project management software which is helping me, my time, and my organization streamline workflows, improve collaboration, and increase productivity. I most like the functionality of the task/project management.

Cons

My biggest dislike is connected to some of the Rule functionality. I use the Gmail rule and it is very limited. I wish there were more keyboard shortcuts. I wish notifications could be customized on a more granular level.

### "Asana as a Project Management Tool"

September 26, 2024

5.0

I use Asana everyday as a project manager. The daily tasks and reminders are very helpful. Asana helps me visualize the critical path of my projects with its dependencies feature.

Pros

Daily reminders feature it very helpful it's like a digital agenda. I like that you can do roadmaps such as blocking a task with another task and create dependencies.

Cons

When using the timeline screen the dependencies doesn't show the relationship between two tasks, such as stating finish to start or finish to finish.

### "Asana is a comprehensive project management tool "

November 4, 2024

Asana is a comprehensive tool that equips teams with everything they need to plan projects, manage deadlines, and communicate on tasks to complete workflows.

Pros

Asana is comprehensive project management tool. I enjoy using it for cross team collaboration, especially when multiple organizations are working on deliverables with interdependencies.

Cons

It can be easy to get lost in the tracking tools within Asana, it was built with a product manager in mind. I'd like to see the views and customization continue to evolve to meet multiple working styles.
