Cons The free version is very limited compared to what the paid version offers. December 13, 2024 3.0 While I enjoyed Asana (hello happy unicorn when you mark off your to-do list), our team decided Notion better fit our needs. Pros Asana was able to support the organization for a variety of projects. It was user-friendly! Cons Setting up Asana on the front end takes time. You have to decide what you want out of the product and then build it into their system. Once we got it set up, things moved smoothly from there, but it really was a bit heavy to begin. November 13, 2024 4.0 My experience has been mixed, partly due to the lack of intuitiveness, as well as the lack of well-executed application of the tool (less to do with the tool and more to do with the users), but overall positive as it works well for its' purpose of being a project management tool. Pros Asana is a very robust tool, well suited for the majority of project management needs for the majority of businesses. It's user-friendly design made it easy for everyone to use and helped us with our workflows Pros Design is super user-friendly, it has different views like calendar and list, which are very useful, it has reporting, and even though I didn't use them, I know it has a lot of integrations. The daily tasks section is really convenient and the Inbox to see what's going on. I find the alerts and Asana Inbox notifications make it show I don't miss anything. Cons I like it all! Cons I think the free version is a little limited for single person business owners. I would upgrade once I scale and have multiple team members, but the free version is all I can work with at the moment. It would be really helpful to have some basic automations and project templates in this version.
